  • I would not recommend this business
  • Do not call back, take no responsibility for their work

This is the worst service I've ever received. It has been 7 weeks since I called them and I have regretted it so many times. They charged me $2200 for something that did not fix the issue at that first appointment and since then I've had to chase them down. Several times I've had problems with them not calling me back. Today they missed an appointment completely and acted like it was no big deal. I am having to fill out a complaint with the NC Licensing Board to report the incorrect diagnosis and all of the incompetence since then. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON THESE PEOPLE. I would not recommend them to my worst enemy.

  • I would not recommend this business
  • Make the other companies look good
  • Service is terrible, system breaks every summer

I installed 72 degrees top of the line system a few years ago. Came with a 10 year parts and labor warranty.

Since installation, it has stopped working each summer.

Three weeks ago I found the system was not draining. Turns out it was due to a filter not being replaced which is part of the system standard service. I had asked the technician in the past about the filter and told it was fine. Now I learn it was so dirty it was suffocating the system. Also learn their is a leak in the coil. Two weeks later, the finally come out to replace the coil, and they break the fan. Almost three weeks from when I first called for the service issue, no time frame or commitment on when it will be fixed, and the system is in worse shape then when I started.

We are now in 90 degree weather. I have a three year old $30k system, that again does not work! I have scheduled the routine services throughout the time to ensure the system is well maintained.

I would not recommend using this company for your installation or service!

Customer Testimonials

Emergency service was great! It's the worst to lose A/C when it's hot and they took care of me immediately. The person who made the repairs was professional and thorough. I would recommend them and will be using their services again.

As always, 72 Degrees Heating & Air Conditioning did an excellent job for us. The technician, William, is always so throrough and friendly. It's good to know I can rely on them when needed. I highly recommend their services!

Service technicians have always been professional and thorough. They take the time to discuss findings of the inspection, efficiently take care of any issues, and offer helpful tips on maintaining the HVAC system thriughout the year.I have used several other companies in the past for maintenance, but 72° has been the best by far. I highly recommend this company.

William Smithis came out to service my old package unit. Took time to explain things to me and provided what I considered a high level of care. Great technician.

My technician Greg Sola, was on time and had a friendly, professional, personality. He explained everything in a manner I could understand. I will use them again!

Greg B. was excellent: courteous, professional, and had a thorough understanding of the equipment. I'm grateful for his experience.

Technician Edward Castlebury was polite, well groomed and appeared to be very thorough. He made a couple of suggestions, but did not persevere when I explained I couldn't afford the upgrades. I appreciated that as I am elderly and on a fixed income.

Always good service from 72 Degrees. Technicians and knowledgeable and willing to clearly explain the problem and provide multiple options on how to solve it if they are available.
