Our air conditioner stopped working and Rick came out to look at it. He was super! Told us what was wrong and gave a recommendation to replace our 5year old unit! He was knowledgeable and kind! Shortly thereafter Jim came out and gave us options! Jim was great and very informative and got us taken care of quickly! Thanks to both guys! Now we wait for install!

I called during the hottest week of the year after our AC failed. I spoke with Jim and he referred me to Jackie. Jackie had a technician scheduled to come out with 48 hours. Kevin showed up and promptly diagnosed the problem. He had the parts and repaired the unit while he was here. Kevin explained what he was doing and cleared everything with me prior to doing anything. I am very happy with the prompt attention from Jim, Jackie and Kevin. I highly recommend A1!

Our experience with A-1 was great! From our initial quote meeting with Ben M., to the day of installation with Grant and Miguel. Ben was very informative and thorough during the quote and explanation of services portion. Grant and Miguel were early for their scheduled install time, and took the time to explain everything they were doing during the install.

On top of the great service, A-1 was far and away the best quote we received for our new AC unit. The attention to detail and professionalism was the best part of our experience, compared to other companies who came out to give us a bid. We are very pleased with the install and overall service, and highly recommend them.

I had an amazing experience with A-1 United. With my husband being active duty and deployed at the time that our A/C went out they have been nothing short of quick. When our heater gave out last month, we were really worried about the stress of having to buy a new system. But with A-1, it was painless. Joseph was thorough when teaching me about why my heater was overheating and shutting off, how the mechanics of it worked, and even showed me live video of my cracked heat register. After talking with him and learning a lot, I felt confident in his opinion that it was time for a new heater. Ben was a confident and honest salesman.

He helped me feel like an informed buyer by presenting all my options and walking me through the pros and cons of each. It was a low-pressure situation because he presented me with all the possible prices for any combination of heater and A/C systems, including with or without financing. He suggested I replace my 19 year-old A/C so that I didn't have to pay extra labor fees in the near future, and I'm so glad I took his advice.

We had problems cooling our home last summer, and the new A/C has seemed to eradicated that issue. Installation occurred the very next day and we had new heater and A/C systems by the afternoon. The technicians were friendly and efficient. They even came back the next day to install some vents in my storage room door at no additional charge, so that my heater passes its inspection with MUD.

If you don't know who to call for heater and A/C issues, call A-1. And even if you THINK you know who to call, call A-1 instead, because I can't imagine a better experience in an otherwise stressful situation.

Recently moved and needed a new AC and Furnace in the new house. Used A-1 on a replacement AC/Furnace at my previous home. I called A-1 first. Had a cup of coffee with Ben, the System Design Specialist, talked through the options and ordered/scheduled installation of the new AC and furnace. Install team arrived on-time and did a great job. A1 United did a great job of updating me on time of appointment and when tech would be heading my way. Tech arrived on time and let me know what the issue was and fixed it very quickly and went over how to use humidifier going forward. Also had an electrician out to fix some outlets. He quickly switched them out and had the right color outlets for my kitchen. Everything is working great and can't be more pleased with the work they did for me. I will certainly be using them again and telling friends and family about my experience.

I've been using A-1 since 2016 and have nothing but great things to say. Every technician we have arrives promptly and is professional and courteous. I pay one bill for the year, which includes a tune-up for the furnace, ac, and humidifier, emergency service, and a discount on equipment. One New Year's Day, our heat went out, and they arrived within a few hours of me calling. Highly recommend!

I called for parts for my furnace. Way over priced compared to local competitors. They were very polite and willing to order parts I needed. I just can't afford to pay for there marked up pricing.

We had a scare when are CO detector went off. We called M.U.D. emergency line and it was are old chimney leaking. Luckily we were able to get the problem fixed with A1 United Heating, Air & Electrical by replacing our chimney liner. Problem was solved and everyone is safe. Thank You! Everyone at A-1 United was professional, personable, and eager to satisfy the customer. Our great experience started with Ben Micek. He took the time to explain our options. He was very helpful in selecting the equipment that was best for us. Next we had great installers, Austin and Avery. They really knew their jobs well, and did not seem to mind my husband watching them! Chris showed up today for the final inspection, and everything was working perfectly. If you have A/C issues call the folks over at A-1. Ive used them for five years and could nit be more pleased with their honesty, integrity and service. AC went out last night and today by 1pm I was back up and running with the house cooling off. Jim was my technician and he took some extra time to answer a few questions and give pointers on general upkeep.

He was on time and courteous and would have him back at my home any time. Price for the fix was very reasonable and additional tests done to make sure all systems worked correctly. Overall A1 has done a great job for our family and I am sure they would for your Family. Thanks A1 team.

They lied to us about being approved for credit and then gave us an option to get in a 10 year contract. Because I had no other option we sign the contract. 2 days later I found out that I was approved for 9500 dollars. I call to talk to a manager and they have the consultant call us to take care of it. He tells me that I can't get out of the contract and I can do the early payout in 45 days.

Even though I have 3 days to cancel my contract in the state of Nebraska. He then told me I could not cancel my contract because it had already been installed. I told him this was not in the contract, and he changed his tune. I also found that they dented my brand new dryer by standing on it. I have images of them on my dryer and the dryer before the installation. And the dents afterward. Don't go here. Save yourself the headache and stress.

Just had Zack T from A1 come do my a/c maintenance and he was great. A1 is the only heating/air company I trust and I'm so glad I switched over to them from the home warranty contract/company I had, that I never felt helped me. They are punctual, courteous, and I never feel taken advantage of.

Shout out to my A1 contract maintenance service technician (unfortunately I can't remember his name) who notified me my A/C unit fan was rotating in the wrong direction. Apparently it had been that way since it was installed in 2016 as no other technician caught it in the yearly maintenance contract services. After he fixed the situation the unit is now very quiet, doesn't start up with a loud bang and seems to be more efficient.

Ben, our sales representative was great to work with. He listened to us and recommended 3 options of which we chose one. Our installer, Luke, was great as well. They covered the work area floors, removed all the old equipment. Our new furnace and AC work great. Thanks A1!

Recently installed a new heat and air system. The guys were professional and very respectful of our home. Did a great job on the installation. Very pleased with their services. I highly recommend the crew and the company if you are looking to change out your hvac system. I was so impressed! I live in Lincoln and called yesterday when the AC in our new construction house was struggling. Jeremy helped me troubleshoot over the phone. Unfortunately that didn't resolve the problem but he told me to text him back if it didn't ( talk about personal service!) He said he could come over that afternoon and take a look.

He showed up right on time and resolved the issue quickly. Ethan was also very polite and helpful. They explained what they did and how To prevent the issue from happening again. This was the best service I've experience since moving to Lincoln :) thank you!

Did a terrible job. Tech just pumped in Freon and didn't inspect the unit as to why it was leaking the next day it still didn't cool, and they charged my $500 and didnt fix anything. Never use them again,

A1 Plumbing, Heating, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration Technicians and their general manager are rude and unprofessional. They went to my house charged $90.95 to clean a sensor. They heater wasn't yet working as it should. I called again and another technician came who identified apparently a second issue and to extra charge $400.00 and didn't want to apply what was paid couple days before for poor service and doing nothing.

His technician Mark was rude, raised his voice and didn't want to leave my property - just an unacceptable behavior. Today I faxed a letter to the owner, Mr. Barr and their management team but they care less and didn't apologize. The general Manager John told me that I can complaint to whoever I want to. Shame on them. They shouldn't be in business.

If they continue practicing unethical behavior they won't be in business for too long. Shame on them! They DONT deserve to have any customers. I contacted the BBB for a refund. ZERO stars for them. ZERO!

These guys did a good job putting the new furnace in. It took a really long time.about 8 hours. They did forget to turn the pilot back on in my ancient water heater before leaving so the next day I thought it was also broken. With the help of YouTube I got it back on just fine. I feel like that is a pretty major thing to miss though.

A1 United was truly a pleasure to do business with, my A/C unit took a crap at a very inconvenient time, they were my third Estimate and they blew me away with a great deal on a new unit, hundreds under competitors, and best part was how timely they get the job done. Ask for Marty he was truly a class act to do business with. Would recommend any Air condition or heat problems to use A1 United they don't beat around the bush or try to sell you what you don't need.
