Critical: Professionalism, Responsiveness I requested to get a copy of my warranty back in May 2019 and still do not have it. I have followed up via phone and email since May 2019 with no luck. Each time I am told the Office Manager will call me back. I will encourage everyone not to conduct business with this company. This is unprofessional and I have no tolerance for it.

Do not use! If you use this company you are wrong! I purchased a system from A and E in the summer of 2020. They have been nothing short of absolutely awful to work with. It has been about six months since I purchased a 2 ton unit and it started having issues with heat. It was clear that the problem was due to a bad install. The fan speed was set improperly and the Freon level was wrong causing the unit to shut down.

The unit had not been serviced by any other company. They billed for the repair even though it was their bad install that resulted in the problem and the unit was under warranty. The problems with this company started immediately! Right after the unit was installed, I noticed a huge mess that they left by the unit, broken concrete, wire, lunch trash etc.

On further inspection We found that they had not hooked up the emergency heat, they installed the drain line improperly and the Unit was pressurizing wrong causing it to shut down. The bottom line is. don't use this company! If you do, be prepared for them to fight you tooth and nail on everything. They are absolutely terrible to work with.

We needed to replace our old unit and chose A&E. Thomas did a great job and was efficient in completing the job and getting us up and running with minimal down time. He took the time to explain everything to my husband and was so cooperative when we wanted to add a UV light at the last minute.

Not a good experience. They broke a knob on a little door that opens to access the ac unit. Also they over charged for a repair. The repair didn't even last 24 hours and the ac stopped working. Then they came back and said the unit needed to replaced. They didn't even bother to try to fix it.

Extremely disappointed in this company. They came out to my house for an estimate and Joshua opened out backyard gate. When he was finished he didn't bother to close the gate knowing we have 4 dogs. We let them outa few minutes later and of course they all left. My husband and I spent about half an hour scouring the neighborhood and collecting them all. When I called their number I was asked 1000 questions. Terrible company and we won't be using them for our repairs.

I have had the BEST service with A&E. Brent installed my new AC years ago and I have a maintenance agreement where they check my unit twice a year. I like knowing my drain line is cleaned out before summer and having my heater checked before winter. I couldn't be more happy with the techs and great service. :

I made an appointment 2 weeks ago for maintenance on a unit they installed 5 years ago. They were to be here between 8 & 11 because I have another appointment this afternoon. I called at 10:20 to ask and was told he would be here by 11. It is now 11:30 and he just arrived. Not happy.

We purchased a new HVAC unit 5 years ago and it was guaranteed for 10 years, PARTS AND LABOR. I saw the advertisement and inquired about it and I was told our unit was covered for 10 years. This month, 5 years later the air handler motor went out so I called the office to place a repair call. The technician came out, looked at the problem and. told me he didn't have the motor with him, but he could drive to S.A. and pick one up.

He told me that I would have to pay for his time for him to get to the air port area and back. He was talking on the phone with someone who I guess was the owner or supervisor. I mentioned that the system was still under parts and labor warranty, but he then.

I had no choice but to have him repair it and I was charged for service call, plus labor... I called the first day and I was told that we failed to send the warranty paperwork back in...I told her that we never received a paper on the warranty to return to the company..... I called the day of repair and I was told the same thing, which like I said, we never received a paper to return.

I called later to ask for a copy of the invoice, since we didn't get one.... I asked about the labor warranty again, and this time I was told they DIDN'T OFFER IT BACK THEN..?? I told her she was wrong and like I had told the other lady, if this,wasn't offered, I would have bought a unit from my neighbor.. I also asked about the warranty on the new motor and I was told, ONE YEAR...???

The one that was removed had 5 years left, out of the 10 years.... So why do we lose 5 YEARS.?? I feel that they don't stand by what the had advertised on T.V. and the S.A. EXPRESS NEWS..

We recently had a&e a.c. install a complete a.c. system. The a.c. works fine and the install seems to be ok but the communication was terrible. They advertised a $500 discount on their website then conveniently removed the advertisement when we ask for the discount to be applied. Took us over a week to get our receipt that we asked for for days. Not sure what was going on there.

We dont get a professional feeling with this company. Many different stories out of the office and from the owner. We feel like they owe us the $500 discount that mysteriously was removed from the website. O. when we finally got the receipt a week later, the price was jacked up to reflect the discount we never got.

Service man seemed very knowledgable and detected the problem very quickly. Unfortunately, he spent a full hour telling me the product that was purchased 4 years ago from A&E is a piece of junk and we should forgo repair and replace the unit. Probably not par for the course but I was certainly taken aback, I've heard good things about the company; was surprised the employee did not stand behind his product.

A&E installed a new system, duct work and all, on our parents old house that we now use as rental property. They were courteous, knowledgeable, and very consciousness in their work. It is going on 3 yrs. now and have not had any significant problems and renters love it! If a problem should arise, I know I can count on A&E for a prompt and reliable service. We woke up in the middle of the night freezing cold. Our heater had quit working. We called A&E to come out. Their response time was excellent, and the technician Tony was very friendly and helpful. He had the part we needed on his vehicle, and had us up and going in no time. I will definitely recommend this company to everyone I know. Thank you A&E!
