Alert Heating & Cooling

This is a follow up review - Alert installed a furnace, AC and water heater unit for us in 2 years ago. I am as happy today as I was the day they efficiently and professionally completed the installation. Great company - don't hesitate!

Recommended by my parents who used them for their furnace install. Came out to my house same day to recharge my AC unit. Very quick and easy. Prices were reasonable.

Doug was just out to repair my heater for my landlord. He was so kind, not only to me but to my dog also. He took care of things after their listed close of business hours. He definitely went above and beyond and I'm so grateful to have my heat restored! Update: I referred them to my friend's neighbor. They had a cancelation and came out the next day. They raved about how friendly the guy was and how they took such good care of him! Makes me so happy to hear more positive feedback.

I got 3 quotes for my furnace and AC replacement. Doug went a step further than the 2 larger companies I called. He walked me through the pros and cons of the different types of furnaces and what their impact would be on my 120 year old house, without any pressure. In the end, we were completely comfortable with our decision, and the quote came in $4K less than the larger companies. If you’re trying to make a decision about a major installation, call Alert!

new furnace yesterday, great job! your guys are nice ,they cleaned up all the debris and took the old furnace with them. the very best thing about Alert heating & cooling is they gave us a great deal $$ We will be happy to recommend this company, you will be happy with the results!

Doug from Alert Heating & Cooling is amazing! He responded immediately, was able to come fix my furnace within the hour. He was extremely thorough and provided maintenance to my furnace while he was here. He not only did a great job, his prices were more than reasonable! I highly recommend Doug for all your heating and cooling needs.

Every thing was good till it came to my bill, I couldn’t find the part they claim to order for no more then $119 Doug charged me $220 something for the part when I asked about the up charge lady’s in the office laugh and tell me that’s where Doug gets his extra money. Doug took the job $80 for him to come asset the situation. Ok another $100 for him to come back to fix it.

Ok cool. Then the part I needed I found online and could order my self for $89- $119 total bill was 398 and change... so Doug makes $80+100+100 just to switch a mother board. Pays $89-$119 for mother board. And boom there’s my total bill. I’ll be looking for a different company next time that’s for sure! Alert Scum artist.

I had a different contractor do work at my physical therapy clinic several months ago and was dissatisfied so I asked my electrician for a recommendation and he told me about Alert Heating and Cooling. I'm very happy he did. Doug and Matt came out promptly when my AC went out, got things working and did honest work for a reasonable price. A separate problem arose a few weeks later and the were again very prompt and responsive and did a thorough job diagnosing - and explaining the problem. Again at a very reasonable price. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again, they are professional, honest and most importantly thay are great at what they do.
