Change or clean your AC's air filters at least once a month to keep your system running at peak performance. Check for household leaks to make sure air isn't escaping through openings such as fireplace dampers, doors and windows. Install more ceiling fans. Because the breeze of a fan can make you feel three to four degrees cooler, you can raise that thermostat and still stay comfortable.

We have used Alton Services for years for our needs. They are affordable, professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Wanda always answers the phone, and I enjoy talking to her. We've had techs Hayden and Jonathan work on our units over the years, and they are such pros! Highly recommend. They go above and beyond at reasonable prices.

Alton Services has been taking care of our A/C unit for close to 10 years now. Their techs are awesome, & honest. Unfortunately, when they showed up last week, the cost to fix our 13 year old unit was 1/3 of the cost to get a brand new unit. So we bit the bullet, bought a brand new York Affinity system and they installed it on the very next day which happened to be on a Saturday.
Not only did they send their best techs, but Ernie Alton himself was there all day to assist in the install. If you value great customer service at good rates, you need to invite Alton Services to take care of your Air Conditioning needs. You'll be glad you did. They Rock! BTW, we LOVE the York's superior energy ratings and it is SO quiet too!

I had another AC company for 10 years for my business. They were always here servicing us for something or another. I was not happy and wanted a second opinion. I came home late on a Friday night before a long holiday weekend to find my air conditioning not working. After calling my landlord I was promised "someone would call tomorrow." Looking like an uncomfortable night! Within a few minutes Wanda from Alton called and said a tech was on the way. Chris arrived around 8:30 and thoroughly checked the system and made the repairs.
He explained how everything was supposed to work and even offered maintenance tips to avoid future problems. He stayed until around 10:30 pm to ensure everything was operating as it should. I was thoroughly impressed with his knowledge, courtesy, and professionalism. Please call these folks if you ever need AC help. You'll be glad you did.
