Apollo Heating & Cooling Thanks Tom for coming out today on this hot day. You did a wonderful job. When Apollo Heating and cooling installed my new furnace and A/C. The whole experience was good. The person I spoke to on the phone was patient and courteous, the salesman was not pushy and nice, the men who installed it were great, and the man who came later to inspect it all was great.

Over all, everyone was really great. Apollo even sent emails out before someone came with their picture and a brief description of them! Now, it has been almost 2 years and my new A/C has been amazing in the 90 degree days!

From first call to when they left after installation, Apollo was fantastic to work with. The consultation was done by one of their salespeople, who is an ex-installer, and was able to take me through the entire process. They offer multiple finance options along with many different options in their equipment. The two installers were both super nice and very knowledgeable, so they were able to answer all of my questions along the way. Would definitely recommend!

Fantastic customer service and communication! Palmer was a fantastic technician who was courteous, knowledgable, and professional. He knew exactly what was wrong and how to fix it. He placed an order for a part (a fan motor), which arrived the next day! The next day, Josh arrived first thing in the morning. He was polite, professional, and skillful.

He fitted the item swiftly and got us up and running again! Both men were thorough, respectful, and professional, which I valued. We were so impressed with them that we decided to join the Value Choice Savings Plan. It doesn't get any better than this in terms of what it covers. Earlier this year we had to have some things done to our hvac system. We contacted the office and scheduled the appointment. The young man that came out was professional and personable. He gave us a run down of all their services and items we could get with the new system. I already knew it wasn't going to be cheap, because I worked in property preservation and knew the costs associated with this. Im not sure why these people had a hard time but i was pleasantly surprised with the price, the type of unit (which they carry great brands),a nd the thing to get my install.

The installers, office staff, sales men, and technicians are great. I wouldn't hesitate to use them or refer them to anyone. You will always have my business! Thanks Apollo!

George, sales person was great. He really knew a lot and was very informative while explaining the whole process. Aaron and Jimmy (installers) were great! Very professional and easy to answer all questions. This was a 2-day job and both days they were on-time and got started right away. Very trustworthy, I was able leave while they worked and had no concerns with doing so. **Bonus: they were very sweet to my dog and careful to make sure the cats didn't get out. I would recommend them to anyone!

We had Apollo come out and check our A/C. They did an excellent job of checking it and informing us of everything. While doing the work on the a/c a wire came lose that went to the furnace. The furnace would not come on. We called this morning and they were out by early afternoon. It was just a loose wire and it was reconnected. Highly professional all the way. I always recommend Apollo to anyone asking for suggestions. Always had very good service from them! keep up the great work. And yes.you are friendly!

Our experience with Apollo was great from the first phone call and on. Everyone was friendly, helpful and professional. The techs were knowledgeable and honest. Our options were clearly explained without any pressure. We ended up deciding to replace our AC and furnace due to the cost of repairs and the age of our units. Alan was detailed while giving us options and everything was broken down and easy to understand. Richard and Mike installed our new units and they were great. Highly knowledgeable, thorough, professional and friendly. They did a great, high quality install and left the space pristine.

I had Apollo out to fix a zone on my hot water heat. They did a great job at a fair price. Knowing I needed an air conditioner I joined their frequent customer program. A couple weeks later I had them out to change a faucet for me downstairs. I figured since I was on their plan it wouldn't be that much. I could not be home that day and my wife handled everything.

Unfortunately my wife thought I had approved the price. I had not. The only thing their technician did on the phone with me was try to upsell me. They charged me $372 for one hour of work to put a faucet in plus the service charge. I bought the faucet myself. All they had to do is unbolt the faucet, and put the new one on. The lines were fairly new. That's is complete ROBBERY! Needless to say they will NOT be who replaces my AC.

So its a case of stepping over a dollar to pick up a dime. I thought I'd found a great company to work with. Not so much! Guess I should have read the YELP reviews first. They have earned these low numbers.

Apollo's customer service and professionalism is what appeals to me the most. I've used them exclusively over the past 2+ years, which has included the installation of a new HVAC system. Our tech today, Jon, was fantastic. He was thorough and took the time to answer all of my questions. I have found customer service to be pleasant and easy to work with from day one. As a paying customer, it's exactly what I expect and will continue my relationship with Apollo as a result.

Needed a heat pump replaced. They took an hour to go over unnecessary options. There is no simple unit with I stall but packages for duct fogger $1k, a fancy filter for over $1k, air cleanser over $1k, cheapest package they offered was $13k! We just need a new unit. This is ridiculous.

Our experience with Apollo for an AC install was excellent. The salesman and installers were very professional and personable. The installers thoroughly explained the work they were going to complete and followed up after install to provide instructions on operating the thermostat and Pristine Air Filter. They were respectful of our home and cleaned up after themselves. Highly recommend!

My whole experience with Apollo has been amazing! They were out here first thing in the morning after our heat went out. Every person that has come out from service to install has been extremely professional. Kyle was the tech who came out and explained what was wrong with the furnace and all my options. Once I decided on just replacing the furnace Steve came out and explained everything in great detail about all the options and pricing. Richard and Todd were my technicians who came out to install and they were wonderful!

They made sure all the floor coverings were down, everything was cleaned up, super friendly and very helpful with understanding my new furnace. I honestly could not have asked for better service.

Lance and Andrew and many other guys installed a new ac unit and furnace the day after we called. We could not be more impressed or happier with their service and professionalism. They carefully explained everything they were doing and walked us through our new systems. Their workmanship and the pride they take in their work is very evident in the job they completed.

They made sure my family and two young kids are going to be comfortable in our home. We will recommended Apollo and those guys to anyone who has an issue with their heating and cooling.

HVAC used car salesmen. It all started when I submitted an online request for an estimate. Explained this was estimate only and cannot commit to a purchase yet. Lady called to schedule a time for the estimate and again explained that it was an estimate only. The salesmen (yes 2) showed up, I explained my goal- to get an estimate- and they did a 5 minute measurement of the rooms, took a look at the current units and then said "ok let's see what we can come up with." They gave me 5 different options ranging from $11,000 to $14,000 and then asked if I was ready to pick a plan.

I was like I don't think so. then came the shady business of "well what if we give you the option 5 for the option 4 price? Would you sign then?" Or "what if we throw in a humidifier on option 3?" AND the kicker. all of the estimates were an 80% efficient furnace for that price! Crooks! BEWARE!

I have used Apollo Heating And Cooling for a few years now and have always had great service from them. One of their associates was at my house servicing my HVAC and they sold me a maintenance plan for $15.50/mo and you get service discounts and labor discounts from them. He pitched this plan to me to lower the service call. He also stated to me, and it is on the contract, that you can cancel this plan within 3 months for a complete refund.

I listened to the tech and cancelled it in less than 3 months. They had one of their managers call me back and try to beat me out of my refund. I eventually received my $46.50 ($15.50/mo x 3 mo) refund check in the mail. I called them today to get a quote on a repair and I was told that they will no longer service my HVAC needs. After 5 plus years of using them this is how you treat your customers? So me taking advantage of an offer you presented to me is wrong for me to ask for a refund?

I bought a house last spring but it was too cold during my inspection to run the A/C. I had a lot of work done by contractors which included a new smart thermostat. By the time I moved in it was fall and I never needed to use the A/C. The following summer I tried the A/C and it didn't work. I called Apollo and Shawn Sullivan came out for an inspection.

Yes my unit is old, but after the 8 minutes he spent looking at it (no trouble shooting whatsoever) he said the repair would cost around $1000. Like 25% of the cost of a new unit. Not worth it. That visit cost me $100 for just looking. Looking that anyone with a screwdriver could do. He said there was high voltage and a short that he would have to search for but it wasn't including in my $100 visit. Pointless visit.

Nonetheless I paid and opted for a new unit quote. That agent wasn't any better. Ralph Coss came out and pretty much insisted that my furnace needed to be replaced along with the A/C because the new A/C wouldn't be compatible with the old furnace. He said he'd have to make calls to verify. Over a week has gone by and he still hasn't given us a quote.

Today I had Hero Heating & Cooling come out and Dirk Elsass did a great job of actually troubleshooting. He verified that my newer smart thermostat wasn't compatible with my older system. He replaced the thermostat and boom, A/C back working. I realize my A/C may be on its last leg but when it goes, Hero Heating & Cooling has my business. That goes for my rental properties as well. I called Apollo first because I see their trucks out often, but listen to me, they don't want to work, they just want to up sell. Call Hero Heating & Cooling!

Everyone I talked to was professional and very helpful. The were able to work with my schedule to get a tech to the house for a fall/winter tune up. The tech was prompt and courteous, he explained what he found and what he did. He was clean (wore his booties when he was in the house), neat in appearance and well versed in his trade. The schedulers were patient and helpful. We will definitely be using Apollo again in the spring.

BEWARE! Thought Apollo was a good company. Guy came out, took my furnace bypass wire loose and stuck to furnace. Of course it sparked, and I said how do I know you didn't damage my furnace. Well he proceeded to tell me I had a bad blower and gas valve wasn't working. Try to sell a new furnace $3000. Today I call another company, with in 5 mins, he says your fuse is blown (I guess it would be). Tripped breaker!. Needless to say there is nothing wrong with my blower or gas valve. It was a bad thermostat. I NOW have heat and it was less than $100. YOU SUCK APOLLO. Trying to rip people off.

A few weeks ago we had a new furnace and a/c unit installed on a Monday. Since they didn't have the correct size air filter for the filtration unit, they came back the following day (Tuesday) for install on that portion. A few days later, Friday evening there was a HUGE puddle of water all around our furnace, and surrounding areas, even inside the unit itself.

We immediately called to schedule service. The tech that came Friday evening was very courteous, and identified the problem within minutes. He took multiple pictures to share with management, because he seemed very upset that we experienced this just days after spending over $9,000.00 just a few days prior. My complaint is there wasn't ANY follow-up from our salesman or management to apologize for the inconvenience, and I consider this extremely poor customer service.

Apollo is a bunch of crooks overpriced and everything they quoted $1300 to fix a blower motor I ordered a brand new one and installed it myself for 150 bucks they told me the price Mark up Was the manufacturers suggested price sounds to me like they're scamming to make money I understand this is their busy time of the year my house went three days without heat

We purchased and had a new compressor for our cooling unit installed by Apollo in May of this year. This was over two thousand dollars and included cleaning and servicing the central air system. We also have a service agreement for seasonal service calls. The most recent service call was a visit during this month (August). During this service call we were informed that the brand new compressor they installed less than 90 days ago needs services AGAIN and coolant needs to be added for a total bill of $1,100.00!

The technician reminded me (based on prior notes) that we have airflow problems in a house built in 2006 and we really should spend $10,000 on new duct work to the upstairs. When i asked about the warranty on the compressor installed in May I was informed that we could purchase an extended warranty for $1000 to cover what needs to be done. I have to agree with the prior post that I read. even though the technician was courteous, is this company really ethical in their business practices?

Buyer Beware! While Apollo employees are courteous and usually punctual for service calls, I really don't know how ethical the company is. As I have called several times in the past when my older Carrier AC unit wasn't turning on at the start of the season, I expected the typical $90 Apollo service charge and maybe a $100-200 fee to fix. Well, this year the repair tech insisted the fan motor was seized, and it would be $900 to fix (including a maintenance plan fee of course).

Being that it's 20 years old, it probably wasn't worth fixing - his recommendation. The tech said he wasn't supposed to quote, but said it could be from $1000-$10,000. So, I scheduled a quote. Apollo again came out on a Saturday, which was very convenient, but gave us a $7,500 quote - mind you this is ONLY for AC, not a furnace combo.

When we mentioned we were getting a second opinion the same day, the guy seemed a bit taken off guard. Thank goodness we did. Not only did PDR Comfort Systems in Twinsburg fix the unit by lubricating the fan for $100 (including the weekend service call fee), but also said when the unit is FINALLY at its end, he could quote $3000! Morale of the story - get a second opinion, or personally know someone who works for a company - in any service area, not just HVAC!

Everyone in this company was top notch to work with- everything happened on schedule as promised by the salesman, also the owner personally checked up on our job. But the best part was how good the installation guys were- they are real artists and thorough-( I tear up each time I look at their beautiful work) - thanks Terry Tasker
