In 1995, Bill and Barb Painter started B&B Heating and Cooling with the idea of specializing in the service and repair of heating and cooling systems. At the time most HVAC contractors were focused on new home construction, B&B focused on the repair and maintenance of the existing comfort systems in the area. In 1999, Bill and Barb's son, Chad joined the family business and the three have expanded the company into system replacement and duct cleaning markets while still maintaining the strong service/repair base they as so known for.

I highly recommend B&B Heating and Cooling. Our AC quit working Tuesday and it looked like two weeks before it was fixed. Well they found what we need in KC, got it here this am. The young man came out got it fixed and we are finally cool. I honestly dont think we would have made it two weeks. They are an awesome company.

During the recent arctic cold snap our aging furnace went out. We called B&B hoping a technician would be available that day for a service call. Darlene answered my call for help advising me a technician would be available that day between 11:30am and 12 pm. The technicians arrived on time. My husband was very pleased with their work and we had heat again when they left. I will be referring B&B in the future and contacting them this spring for an estimate to replace our aging heating and cooling system. Thank you B&B!

This was a great service experience. The repairman showed up on time, listed to my explanation and was able to immediately diagnose the problem He took time to explain the issue and verified that everything was in good working order before he left I am very pleased with this business and would highly recommend it to anyone

I called to have them look at our HVAC system the fan was not rotating. The guy came out got the fan to work said he couldn't see anything wrong with it. It stopped again a few hours later that was on a Saturday. Monday I called again they said they would try to work me in that day I said it could wait until Tuesday because we could use emergency heat. Tuesday they cancelled because of the weather.
They said by the forecast it would be about 10days until they could come out they would put me on the schedule for that day. They did not come I am sure it was because of the weather but they didn't even call. Today they were scheduled to come and the office called and said the technician said our roads were bad and they driveway was not clear of snow to the road.
I had all but the last bit cleared. My driveway is not long he could have walked to the house. He offered no solutions. I could and did get my car in and out of the driveway. So I waited almost two weeks now I don't even have emergency heat. Offer solutions not just I can't do that. This is not going above and beyond it is more like an excuse for not having to go look at this one. Will be calling another company.

I had another company out and felt I was being taken so a neighbor recommended B&B and representative Todd came to my home and restored my faith in contractors. My heating and cooling system both needed replacement. Aaron and Josh came to do the installation and were very hard workers and did a fantastic job! It's really comforting to know you are being taken care of by employees who exhibit courtesy and dedication to the job they are doing. B&B is Better &Better!

Chad arrived at 11:00 which was when we had scheduled our appointment. That was amazing! Although I thought the charge was high, he provided great information, was polite, knowledgable and didn't indicate we needed anything done on our furnace. We use B&B to do the spring and fall checkups on the HVAC systems in our condo at Water's Edge on Lake of the Ozarks. When we arrived after a couple of months absence on 11/16/15 at close to 4 pm, the furnace wouldn't start. We called B&B, and the lady said their techs were all out on service calls but that someone would call me. About 5:15 pm Chad called and said he'd be over in about 10 minutes.
He showed right up, checked the power and relay connections inside the furnace and then checked the thermostat on the wall where he found and fixed a wire that had come loose. Nice guy who gave us really prompt and excellent service. That has always been our experience with B&B over probably 10 or 15 years. Very professional outfit with nice staff and service people.
