We had Brothers replace our AC, Furnace, and Water Heater all in one day after our AC died and all systems were 15 yrs old. Their techs were professional, well mannered, respectful of us and our home, and did the install all in one day. Their follow-up is phenomenal and our systems passed inspection with the county on the first visit from the inspector!

Their prices were fair (I had done research knowing the age of our systems) and service is excellent. Again, we were so very impressed by each employees personable demeanor which is so important to us. We highly recommend Brothers! We would use them again (without hesitation) and will recommend them to friends and family! Thanks, Brothers! Keep up the level of service we are raving about!

Charged me $49 for diagnostic fee! They tried to charge me $99 I am still under warranty for parts.my heat pump has been serviced seven times. It is only 2 years old reversing valve issues. Then after 1 year compressor went bad an had to be replaced. Never charged me a diagnostic fee until now and there is no diagnostic fee even mentioned in my warranty.

So this time capacitor went bad I understand that they have to make there money but they charged me $250 labor plus $49 diagnostic. That capacitor is a $20 part!it takes 10 minutes to diagnose and install. Total rip offs! There are plenty of reasonable priced HVAC specialist out there. Stay away from brothers you will over pay big time!

I called for an appointment on 15 May. They scheduled me for 10 June. I called to confirm on 9 June. They canceled on 10 and rescheduled for 11 June. They canceled again. Would never reach out to Brothers in Rock Hill, SC again! Most unreliable business I have ever dealed with!

Brothers Air&Heat + technician ABDUL save the day! My simple Smart Thermostat installation went off the tracks, and with 88 degrees looming in the weather report, I called Brothers. Seems I can blow up even the smartest AI from Amazon and likely some A/C parts, too. A phone call later Abdul was just around the neighborhood corner. Friendly, super prompt and knowledgeable about all of my AC / Thermostat hardware, Abdul tests it all and gets the replacement parts from the truck.

In a few moments (under 30), the system is back up, a glowing new Thermostat is working. I swear I saw it smiling at me. And the vents are pouring clean, cold air into my home. Best money spent this month. Thanks Abdul, and Thanks Brothers!

Our recent technician was Matt Arnold. He arrived on time and was extremely effective with his diagnostics. We had an issue with our system not cooling, and I watched his whole procedure. He performed his inspection and service with amazing diligence and attention to detail. He was polite and answered all our questions. Throughout the years we had many techs come out, but Matt was the best by far. Would highly recommend Matt and Brothers for any residential HVAC service. Thanks.

Their service rep Chris was here on time and thoroughly put the system through its paces. He also repaired an area that was needing repair, and informed me of a couple of things that I may want to consider doing to the system in the near future. He was extremely professional, very nice, very knowledgeable, and I leave high recommendations. As far as I'm concerned, this is a great employee, and I appreciate the care and time he took explaining everything that needed to be done and that was recommended. I have been very happy with the service from brothers since we first began using them nearly 20 years ago.

The two reps that came out to install a new water heater in our home were great! The quality of work was top notch. Also, the front office was super helpful. Jessica went above and beyond to make sure we got the water heater replaced when we closed knowing I had such a short window to be in town. We have another separate issue that we'll need to address and we will definitely give them another call.

I would not use this company if I were you. My wife had set up bi-annual inspections with Brother's Heating and Air approximately 2 years ago. Twice a year they would come out and spend about a half hour inspecting the HVAC units. We thought this would be a good idea to do this to prevent more serious expenses later. Brother's charges your credit card each month for this service.

Last August, 2021 a representative from their company came out. They are very respectful and professional in their delivery. But, don't let that fool you. You see, the technician left 2 of the 3 vents open on the handlers, which I found a couple months later after the inspection. I personally started changing the filters myself, since their fees for installing the 3 filters were over $500 each visit. Now, this takes us to today's visit, April 7, 2022.

The purpose for this visit was to address the hot air upstairs where the kids sleep. The call was made the day prior, and the tech arrived on a scheduled next day visit. I followed Jamal outside to the 3 ac units. He noticed this piece which was on top of one the electrical boxes and inserted it into the box. The unit started right up. I asked him what was that piece you just put into the electrical box?

He told me it was a disconnect. Which as he described was like a light switch. The unit started right up and I thought, hey that was easy. Jamal, said he wanted to inspect the unit which had only been inspected 4 weeks earlier and received a clean bill of health. Nevertheless, Jamal found a leaking coil and an almost dead capacitor. He fixed these items which came to $722.

I asked him while we were settling up, if the disconnect had been inserted in the box, would he even have needed to come out? He said probably not, but the low Freon from the leak and weak capacitor would have eventually needed service. I asked if there was anything he could do for me for the prior technician not reinstalling the disconnect? Jamal said he would have to address this next Monday morning since he was off the next day Friday.

The bottom line is, they do not care about their customers. Two hours later, a manager named Jason called me and o explained the situation to him. He only responded saying that it was an honest mistake by his technician, which I do agree. But, his remark saying there is nothing more he can do. This company has no regard for their customers. There pricing is also very exorbitant. Stay away from them. The night time girl answering the phone, Sienna(?) was very snarky as well.

I am very satisfied with the service that I received from this company. My water heater went out and they showed up the same day to give me an estimate, which I agreed to. It still took 5 days to get the actual work done (yep, only cold water for the entire time). I will say that the two installers that did the actual work were very good; very professional. The price, however was very steep: water heater cost about $700.00 (pretty much going rate) but labor was $1700.00! Took two guys about 2.5 hours to complete.

This company was out two weeks ago and advised that we needed to replace a single valve faucet with a dual handle unit to increase water flow. They took pictures of everything including the tub, granite and access panel. They were scheduled to be here this morning and called two days in advance to say they couldn't make it until this afternoon. We purchased the faucet unit and valves for them to install.

I removed the access panel and cleaned everything away from the tub ahead of their visit. They showed up this afternoon and acted like they had never seen a valve unit, especially one that needed soldered. They were even holding the valve upside down. They inspected the access area and where the valve/faucet was to be installed, then read the instructions a little.

I asked if they had the appropriate wet drill to drill the deck. Then they wanted to call their manager. After that conversation they came back in and said they don't drill granite put could install the faucet after we had someone else drill the granite. Abruptly told them that they wouldn't be doing anymore work for us, especially at their price.

I told them their price was high enough but I was considerate of the fact that it included drill the 3 holes in the granite. In short if it's copper they are lost and don't have the skill. If it isn't fiberglass they won't touch it. Horrible experience.

I purchased maintenance from Home Depot for our 2 units (13 year old). Someone from Brothers showed up on time and after spending 90 minutes in the house told me everything was fine. 3 weeks later there is an error message on the thermostat indication low pressure in the system. The technician came back and explained to me that the evaporator coil is leaking refrigerant.

Now that is too much of a coincidence and I strongly suspect that it was caused by the technician during the first visit to create more business. The quote for the coil replacement: $3500. He said because the unit is old, I should look into a new unit. Sales person comes and he gets the 2 units mixed up and gives me $ 10000 quote for a SEER 14 while my unit is SEER 20.

Few hours later someone from the office calls with $ 1000 discount if I do it that week. I guess the owner was in a generous mood. It is unfortunately that there are fewer and fewer honest people around in Charlotte. It is scary!

Brothers Heating and Air are very professional. There very prompt to provide you with service. They are second to none! Jeff and Rick are awesome as well as the install team(Doug and Reggie) that done the job. They have also installed an AC unit as well and service my units yearly and there work has never been disappointing! A+ in every aspect of there business!

Brothers Air Conditioning has always given us great service. They figured out how to heat & cool my sun room when no one else could. They did a fantastic job and were super clean and considerate. Yesterday I had them come to service the furnace in my basement and they discovered a gas leak. They were able to fix it on the spot at a very reasonable price. The serviceman that came was awesome! He was so nice and he even helped me fix my dishwasher at no charge. I highly recommend them. Their service technicians are the best!

Horrible customer service. I made an appointment through Home Depot for a free quote. My scheduled appointment was for 12:30pm as I work nights and just got off of a 12 hour shift. I had something come up and I tried calling the employee named BJ twice an hour before the scheduled appointment. He did not answer. I then get a text saying he was. here.

I call he finally answered I explained first that he was at the wrong house, then I apologized saying I would have to reschedule that I had something come up and tried reaching out twice with no answer. He then proceeds to say thing like " I drove 2 hours to be here " " y'all just gonna go without heat it says here y'all ain't got no heat" " y'all really don't want me to come " " i didn't answer because I don't text and drive"- ( I called ) he just got madder and madder until he hung up the phone on me. 0 stars absolutely joke for a company and customer service. Will never be buying anything from this company and as for BJ I hope you get fired you absolutely don't need to work in customer services!

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE BY EMPLOYEE NAMED BJ IN STATESVILLE NORTH CAROLINA. ZERO STARS! Horrible customer service. I had and appointment for a Free quote. Something came up I tried calling twice before the appointment BJ the horrible employee didn't answer straight to voice mail. I get a call from Bj the horrible employee he states that he's here.

He wasn't at the right house. I then explained I tried to calling twice and hour before the appointment and cancel THAT HE WAS LATE TOO. He argued with me saying he drove 2 hours. That I wasted his time. Then asked me if I was just gonna go with out heat. Argued more and then hung up. Never been so disappointed in a company's employee. Absolutely terrible will never buy a service from this company. They need to train the employees on how to handle situations and how to talk to people. Zero STARS DO NOT Recommend

The technician Jamal Smalls who is very professional, nice, polite and has a very good knowledge. He pointed out all of the parts that were worn out or damaged. He instructed me that I need to have the kind of service protection which will help me to save some money in the future. He took good care of all the damaged parts under good warranty to be replaced for my two furnaces.

I would give him a good recommendation. I am so sure to ask his boss to send him back when the time comes for checking and tuning up my other two air conditioners in the Summertime. I would prefer him to take care of all the two air and two heat units yearly that I purchased from Brothers Air, Heat and Plumbing. Regarding this company, every time I make a phone call to set up an appointment for services.

All of the "receptionists" who are very polite, helpful and professional too! I would recommend this company to everyone for the good services they provide and support. Have a blessed day everyone!

Dave made the service call this morning to get our annual Heating System check and was nothing other than professional. Was prompt in his arrival, very courteous to my wife, explained his inspection and didn't try to add on additional/unnecessary services. We asked him to provide us with an estimate for replacing our Hot Water Heater and he had someone from the Plumbing department reach out to schedule immediately. Thanks for reassuring why we're loyal customers.

The team at Brothers is extremely professional and did a great job replacing my existing system with a new, efficient one. When they left, you would have never thought they were there. I have been using Brothers for years. They installed new HVAC system in 2013. I have had nothing but repeat repair calls. This November (11/30/21) I smelled gas. Called gas company and Brothers. Gas co found leak. Brothers came out and supposedly repaired it. Fast forward to yesterday (12/16/21) Again smelled gas called Brothers and gas company. Again gas company found leak. Brothers didn't come til after 7 pm they were called 12:30 pm.

When he arrived he was very rude saying he didn't have any information except there was a smell. I informed him what gas co said and even had to call gas co back so they could read report to him. Tech went in attic and returned to us saying he didn't find any leak. At this point he can not turn our system on because gas company turned it off. Gas company couldn't come back because they expect issue they found to be repaired then gas can be turned on.

After going back and forth with tech who said it was late and he didn't have time to do meter check and couldn't do pressure test he followed gas company order and said he would replace valve where leak was found by gas company. So I have no cooling or heating until its repaired. Today12/17/21 I spoke with manager and part was ordered in am. Now its 5:30 and I was informed its wrong part and I have to wait until Monday.

I feel a gas leak is priority and should be taken care of ASAP. I feel they DO NOT believe gas smell is from unit but that should not be the issue. A leak was determined by gas company and should be repaired as per protocol. At that point if its not resolved we move forward with further diagnostics. I should not have had to debate this situation and make another call to gas co manager to figure out what needed to be done! Hopefully this is resolved Monday but I find this unacceptable!

Overall not a horrible experience. Our first appointment we scheduled no one showed up or called during our appointment window so we ended up rescheduling. I'd prefer the technician to send an electronic invoice that I can pay from my own phone, not a fan of handing my cc to someone for a long period of time. Technician then said to my wife " you can discuss this with the man of the house" like she has no say.when actually, she's the boss around here.

First of all I was googling a different plumber and accidentally contacted brother and not knowing I was speaking to the wrong company i made an appt for them to come out and fix a leak under my sink. I was told it would be $49 for a diagnostic fee but after he checked it out and fixed the leak he then slaps me with a bill for $270. He was here. less than an hour and although he was very courteous i was outraged.

The parts he even told me were about $17. And then he lets me know that there was an $89 fee on top of the $49. I would never in my life tell anyone to use this company. What a rip off.

They were very polite, professional and family oriented. They explained what was needed in layman's terms so I could understand what was needed. They even drew a diagram to show me what I didn't understand to show me my need and to save me money and that's what I liked. I'm going to recommend to my friends and family. A really good company. Even when calling to inquire about someone to out to my home the Lady I spoke to Robin was so sweet and concerned about my heat not working said she would try to get someone out that day and she did what she said Great Job!

It had to be one of the WORST experiences with Brothers that I've ever encountered. Over the years I've spent over $40,000 dollars with Brothers. A new HVAC with all the whistles & bells, a new 50 gallon water heater, plumbing work, a new duct system with air scrubber and have been on the service plan for years. When I called to make my winter tune up Sherry gave me a date with an 8 hour window which I was not pleased with.

Other companies guarantee a one hour window. I called around 2 pm to inquire an ETA, they told me the tech was on a repair job and would head my way when finished. About 2 hours later someone from Brothers called to inform me we needed to reschedule and the earliest was November 19, that was unacceptable. At that point I was ready to cancel my service agreement.

They put me on hold and transferred me several times. Finally they said they would have someone out shortly. He arrived and seemed to do an OK job. My only concern is he couldn't inspect the heat exchanger the way previous techs did. When my spring service agreement is over I'm thinking very strongly on finding another HVAC Company. Never use these guys i called in at 6:00 a.m in the morning for a.c. being out, they adivced they would be out at between 12;00 and 8:00 got a call at 12:30 saying they couldnt make it. They should have not make the appt if they were overbook, online they offer 24/7 service but that not true, very unprofessional buisness, wouldnt recommend this company to anyone not good service at all! Never calling this company again!

My mother is 83. Her heating and air unit is under "priority" contract with Brothers. When her air went out the evening May 23, she called brothers on the morning of May 24th, Monday. She was told there would be a technician either Monday or Tuesday. Noone arrived until 6:00 PM Tuesday when the technician stated the unit was frozen and they would have to come back on Wednesday.

At 4PM Wednesday, my mother called them since they had not contacted her and was told it probably wouldn't be until tomorrow, Thursday May 27th. Her house is presently, at 6PM Wednesday evening, 86 degrees. Given the rise in temperatures since Sunday night, that probably means that tonight she will be in 89-90 degree heat in her own home. To say I am disappointed is an understatement.

Carrier heat pump installed in July 2018. I've had 3 service calls since, 2 were covered by parts and labor warranty. The 3rd one was a bad capacitor, literally a $10 part that was covered by warranty. $89 for the diagnostic (later dropped to $49), which I completely understand. The labor for the cap, however, was $224 for literally 90 seconds of work.

I agreed to have a hard start kit installed, that was another $279. One would think the labor on these 2 parts (that are wired to each other) would overlap. One would be wrong. They double-dipped on the labor, probably because they couldn't charge me $100 for the capacitor that was covered by warranty. At the end of the service call, I was out nearly $600. They're very responsive and show up quickly, but the prices are outrageous.

The Sales Manager offered $50 refund, we negotiated to $75 and a free seasonal tune-up. Everybody was courteous and professional, but I wouldn't recommend them. I'm kinda stuck since I bought the unit from them, but I think I might find another service provider for any future visits.

I had an appointment with them yesterday 9/21/20 on my day off work. They were to arrive between 12-8 for 2 gas heat units - annual service. They called after 4pm that day to see if they could reschedule for the following day again 12-8. Luckily I was available the following day also. The service tech comes out at12:15 pm on 9/22/20. He is literally here no more than 20 MINUTES to service 2 gas heat units. I will no longer be using this company.

They kept my mother in a super hot house for the last month saying there was a crack in the ac unit when there wasn't then quoted her 10000 to fix it.you people are an utter JOKE! She said she would be handing the batter and researching it and will revert back to us. We are waiting for her update. We have contacted her several times and have not heard back from Vikki Bowers and it's now 7/2/20.

The company couldn't provide a load calculation for us, yet recommended we go with a larger unit. He went to his van and brought the quote back to me. I commented that it was a pretty good price at $7000. He said to wait a minute, he might be wrong, then went back out to his van and came back with a quote for $2000 more (over $9000 now!), saying he quoted me the wrong price the first time. They don't know what they are doing, I'm surprised they can stay in business.

What a Joke company! We waited a week to for our appointment and on the late afternoon before our appointment someone left a message to confirm? Never said they weren't going to show up! Then when we call to ask where our sales guy is they tell me that they aren't coming! What kind of crappy business is this? Maybe you should have tried calling on the morning of the appt?

And what impersonal customer service! Terrible all around. Doesn't matter that we changed our schedule to wait for this people - they made sure that THEIR time wasn't wasted! Btw- I called the number on my phone twice but the extension wasn't available! Never never never use these rude flaky people!

I had a horrible experience with this company! I actually bought a new a/c unit from them, & it was so poorly put in, a mold problem took over. I normally don't write bad reviews, but, the owner/manager came out & was so dismissive & rude that I decided to share this. Brothers would not believe me that the house was too humid after their new unit was put in--but not before. Finally, I gave up on them & tried to deal w the mold problem.

The mold inspector told me to call other a/c companies to check behind Brothers, & one of them helped me, but getting rid of the mold was a nightmare. I do NOT recommend this company! (But, the lady who answers the phone is so nice.technicians that were at my house were nice, just incompetent, I guess.)

I recently had a pleasant experience with Brothers Air and Heat. My heater was not working and they were able to get someone out the same day. Thomas was very pleasant and patient in trying to get the issue resolved. The initial parts needed had to be ordered. Although it took a long time to get the part, Thomas contacted me and apologize for the long wait. The first repair did not fix the problem and Thomas had to come out a few more times. Thomas provided excellent customer service. He was very very friendly and professional!

I want to give full details as to why I'm giving this rating and break it down in two parts. 1) The initial visit for price quote and "inspection"- This is why I am giving this a 1 star rating. I was in the process of purchasing a hot water heater from Home Depot for replacement. The heater itself was around $400 with some discounts. HOWEVER, the salesman comes up with a quote of $2,200 while at my home! WHAT?!

Just to replace a hot water heater in a townhouse style condo, where the unit is outside in a closet?! The salesman refused to give an itemized breakdown of the cost. After threatening to cancel the whole thing, the price mysterious gets to $1,000 + cost of the heater ($1,400.) This is extremely UNETHICAL! You can't just make up prices! I did end up going with brothers, but will probably not use them again because of the fact that I can't trust them. 2) The install- The plumber was extremely nice and went over a few things about the heater with me.

The area was cleaned up nicely and done in prompt timing. This would be a 5 STAR RATING. I hope this catches you're attention. Long term customer TRUST is more important than an immediate cash flow.

My hot water heater broke on New Years Eve. Brothers is a contractor for Home Depot, so when I called Home Depot, they referred me to Brothers. The person I got in touch with said they were basically closed and would only come out to give an estimate after New Years (1/2). I called on 1/2 to arrange an appointment, since they were close on New Years Day. An appointment was scheduled for the afternoon of 1/2.

I receive a call around 5pm that they weren't going to be able to make it out, after I waited for them for half a day. They rescheduled to come on the morning of 1/3. The plumber showed up, assessed it and showed me a price to replace the hot water heater the same day. I agreed and rearranged my schedule to accommodate an installation in the afternoon at 1PM.

By 5PM, no one had shown up and I was told it may slip to the following day. Seriously? I literally wasted 1.5 days being jerked around by their "customer service". Finally, the installers came on the morning of the 4th. The installation job was done well and professionally and I appreciate the effort done by the actual workers. My advice, their service is fine, but don't be surprised if you get screwed by their scheduling staff and customer service.

They can't manage a calendar or Excel sheet, or they are too dumb to realize that over-promising and under-delivering does not make happy customers. If you look at the other reviews, you will see similar feedback. I called their customer service office to complain that I literally wasted 1.5 days and paid them a price to which I did no receive delivery.

I could have gone with another firm in the time I wasted with these guys for $200 less. They said they would call me back and never did. Again, top notch customer service top to bottom. NOT.
