I had my ac unit replaced on June 2nd. The tech was nice. However a piece of trim was damaged during the install. Nota big deal and he said their carpenter would come out the next day to fix it. He also said that because we have a gas furnace we would need to have it inspected by the city and he scheduled it for the following Tuesday. He said an adult we need to be in the home for the inspection, and they could only give us a timeframe of 8 AM to 5 PM.

As a single parent who works Monday through Friday it's difficult to accomplish. The Carpenter and the inspector never showed or called to say that they weren't coming. It's been two weeks now and I've called twice and keep getting told someone's going to call me back to get it scheduled, but I never hear back from anyone. The lack of communication is very unprofessional and very frustrating on my end.

Made an appointment for my day off, half way through the day I called an inquired about my appointment. They said "oh sorry, there is no tech available". The guy was very nice and apologized for the mistake. He set an appointment for me for the next week and said he had assigned a tech and and would be there at 10 am. At 10:30 I called and talked to another very nice rep.

She told me I was next on the list. I asked for a time estimate and told her what had happened with last appointment. She repeated herself saying she couldn't give me and time estimate. I was very frustrated and told her to go ahead and cancel the appointment, I could wait all day not knowing how much longer his previous job would take. I just wanted to know if it would be sooner or later.

She couldn't give me any idea of the time and got very rude. I could hear her mumbling "oh yeah, I'll cancel your appointment" as she hung up on me. I immediately called back and spoke with Michelle. I asked for a supervisor and told her what had happened. she was very nice and said a supervisor would call me back, they were all in a meeting. It's been 3 days and no call - I'm not really expecting a call back anymore, I just wanted to let them know how rude she was when there was a problem. Saddest part is, a couple of years ago I received some of the best customer service from this company. Very disappointed!

Everything from the phone call for scheduling the estimate, and the super-friendly and knowledgeable sales rep James, to the techs who came to the house for the ac installation (Eduardo) was incredibly professional. I cant believe how quick and easy this whole process was. I was grateful to have the options laid out and clearly explained to me. These guys were also incredible, quick, and clean (covered my floors and wore shoe covers w/o asking).

They were all very prompt and on time. The few people I spoke to on the phone for scheduling were polite and had friendly tones as well. I cant express how happy I am to have my new ac and a house that doesnt feel like a sauna anymore. The whole team did an incredible job. Give them all a raise!

Called by noon, was able to get someone out within the hour and had my AC up and running in less than 30 minutes. This is what you call excellent customer service. Chris was amazing at telling me step by step what he was going to do and how he was going to fix it. And the monthly maintenance program they offer is affordable! So glad I made the right choice in picking this company

I made an appt back on May 17th. I received reminder phone call and confirmed, received text confirmation, asking me to respond with a "C" to confirm as instructed. Received a call today, May 31 saying they were trying to reach me and no techs available today. Rep said unable to reach me! What?! After 2 phone calls, a text confirmation and email response and you say you can't reach me?

Again what? I need 2 AC units replaced at some point. You lost my business. Very unprofessional! I received email and text confirming Tuesday, May 31. What more did I need to do? I talked to reps to confirm? Crazy! I will take my business elsewhere!

UPDATE: I have discussed my experience with Champion and am assured this incident was anomalous. If we do have the misfortune of another incident, I look forward to providing them another opportunity to deliver the service we had become accustomed to. --------------------- We're done. We were loyal customers of Climate Magic since 2003. In the short time since Champion bought Climate Magic, value and quality of service have been poor.

Most recently, as long-time customers on a Preferred Customer contract, we had to place an after-hours call on Sunday for our broken A/C. The answering service promised we would receive a phone call from a technician right away. After a second call to the answering service, we were ignored all day. Monday morning came, and still no phone call. I had to call the office myself a third time to get any work scheduled.

When you're on a Preferred Customer contract, you're paying for priority after-hours service. By contrast, we were completely ignored. It is sad that a larger, less capable company replaced the one we trusted for almost 20 years. I am now in the market for a new HVAC service provider.

I paid over $14,000 for a new AC unit and installation with Champion AC and it failed the county required inspection! It was not installed up to code.

First off they were very responsive and polite however any company that will have a problem being on a job site with other competitors bidding on the work to be done will never have my business. If you can not compete on a fair playing field you don't deserve my business. If you need special quality time with a customer then bid like everyone else and let the customer decide if you are worthy of their job.

It made me feel this company is very shady when they can't do bids when others are out there. (May be part of the reason for the 3 1/2 star rating.) 5 other companies have no problem with this.

Josh V. came out on time, dressed professionally, and very knowledgeable/helpful. He did a great job bidding the work and coordinating everything. While they cost slightly more than their competitor that previously bid my repairs, I felt Champion would do a much better job. And my thinking was correct. Eric Perez and his helper did an exceptional job on my electrical work.

You can tell they have pride in their work and truly excel at it. They too were professionally dressed, good communicators, and very helpful. They made me feel like a priority and had great customer service. The experience with them led me to call Champion the next day and schedule an HVAC duct repair that I had been putting off. Zach arrived (yes also dressed professionally and helpful) and identified the problem and offered several solutions quickly.

I have dealt with many contractors in the past and had several nightmare experiences with some other companies. However, these individuals from Champion made sure the work was done right, affordably, quickly, and hassle free. I gladly will use them from now on.

My Technician Raymond Camacho really came through and got my heater working again. It dropped down in the 20's/30's (degrees) last night/morning and it was a godsend that he was able to repair while working to ensure I paid a reasonable price for the repairs. He was able to get it working in no time thanks to his due diligence and thoroughness. He also took the time to educate me on my system as well as other services that the company provides without making me feel like he was being a pushy salesman (we have all been in those situations with other companies; what a relief!). My wife and I will be warm in our house today thanks to Raymond and Champion AC!

I used Champion AC because I had a voucher for AC and Heating maintenance from their partner company Mr. Plumber and have to say was very pleased with the service. The company was flexible with rescheduling and honoring the voucher because of schedule and weather issues that arose over last couple of montha. Allen, the technician, was very professional and courteous.

He came earlier than expected and was very efficient with his inspection. He explained everything about his findings and recommendations and was upfront about repair costs if needed. Allen offered the company membership information about pricing and alternatives, but he wasn't pushy about it at all, which my wife and I greatly appreciate so that we have time to consider it. I think we found our HVAC company for future service.

Champion AC was fantastic! I was able to schedule an appointment easily and within a few days of when I called. My technician, Michael O., arrived on time, was very courteous and professional and communicated with me throughout the appointment. He was extremely knowledgeable about our system and went the extra mile by resetting our older and unnecessarily complicated thermostat, even though he didn't have to.

He also had a good sense of humor, which is always a bonus. I was so pleased with my experience with Champion AC that I signed us up to become members of their C.H.A.M.P. Club. I definitely recommend working with this company.

Emailed on Monday to get ac unit checked as it didn't come on when house temp was lower than thermostat settings. Was scheduled for Thursday but Wednesday office called to change date to later Wednesday morning. Good. Jose called to let me know he was on the way and got here about 15 minutes later. Checked the thermostat and said he needed to check the ac unit.

He identified the problem and said he needed to ensure the part was available. It was so he went to pick it up and was back in an hour. About 15 minutes later the job was done. He kept me up to speed on what was going on and when he located the part he gave me a quote for price and asked if he should continue with the repair. An hour after I gave the go-ahead the job was done. Jose was knowledgeable and efficient in his task. There was no pressure to have the repair done but options were explained. Good job. Thanks Jose.

Had an absolutely great experience with team at Champion AC. Alfredo Martinez did a great job with my maintenance request and my request for estimate for upgrading my 30 plus year old system. He called in Jason Kidwell as my system set up was not the norm for an accurate and fair estimate that was explained thoroughly. Finally Jacob Daley and his support team did a great install, cleanup and explanation of new system. System is working great, I would recommend this team and intend to continue using for regular seasonal maintenance.

My wife called to set up a quote for our home. The salesman advised her that champion may not be the company for us since we turned down other companies we were getting quotes with. That is the purpose of a quote and estimate. To get the best price for the quality of work. It sounds like every excuse was given to not have someone come out. Had the salesman bob or Robert gone into the sale with the best interest of the customer and with a goal of trying to earn a lifelong customer, they would have made a sale not only for this home.

But for the others we own as well that we are looking at renovating. I guess we will have to call back their competitor for our needs. I was wanting to go with champion for the ratings and reviews I read about but the first initial experience before a quote is even given was highly unprofessional.

After a little over 21 years our Trane air conditioner gave out. We had 3 estimates on replacing the ac and heat. Champion offered exactly what we wanted at a reasonable cost but also offered outstanding warranties and service in every stage of the process and for years to come. The technicians were thoroughly professional and extremely courteous. The clean up was perfection both inside and outside. Thank you Champion AC.

Had them come out to check A/C was told all air ducts($5000.00 worth of work)had to be replaced due to being damaged. Tech showed us pics. We had a another technician come out and were told there was no air duct damage at all, I even went up with the tech to see and he was right. A/C was serviced and is now working fine.

We purchased a new AC unit, to replace our aging one at our home. Cody, my sales rep, was great to work with (responsive, knowledgeable and attentive) and gave me a the best price from all the quotes I had received. Roland and Jesse were our installers, and they were great to work with. Friendly, and mindful of our home (they covered the work and traffic area with drop cloth and wore shoe covers while inside our home).

I also appreciated Roland's knowledge and candidness, when discussing how my Nest would not be the best fit for my new product. Overall a great experience with Champion A/C! I would definitely use them again.

We had our AC capacitor replaced by them for $348 only last summer (2020) and now it's dead. I called them today to ask about a guarantee and was told it was only valid for 30 days. Something like that shouldn't last only a year.

Horrible service! My insurance company referred me to this place and got stuck with them. 1) never answered the phone - not exaggerating! I had to contact my insurance company and obtain email contact information to reach them! 2) attempted to reach the manger, to this day (2 months later)I have yet to hear from him 3) the technician was always late, came back several times to complete the repair and. left a huge mess in my back yard! I ended up paying an HOA fine for trash! 4) I still don't have the job completed! Nightmare!

Gus was very thorough. Knowledge of product was excellent. I didn't know there was mold since I don't remove anything but the filter cover. Had taken great care but had mold in the working parts. Home warranty would have no part of that. Technician was great.

I called on 21Apr21 to make an appointment with them and the scheduler told me there would be a $29 trip charge. Of course, this trip charge would be waived if I accepted their estimate for the work I want done. I've contacted 4 other electricians and none of them are charging trip fees. I'm only getting estimates on what it will cost to do the work I want done. That's the whole purpose of getting estimates is finding what it's going to cost.

I will chose the best estimate offer which may not be the lowest but with the company that I am comfortable with. Additionally, I will have other work that needs to be done too.

Very happy to review Champion AC and their team. Jaime came to our home to provide a free estimate. He was thorough and explained everything to me. His explanation was professional and easy to understand. He didn't sugar coat anything and was upfront about any questions we had. Upon receiving the estimate, we were able to schedule the unit to be installed in less than two days.

The installers were on time (even a few minutes early), professional and exceptionally polite. They worked with care and efficiency. They wrapped up the whole project in about 6 hours. They made sure they cleaned everything up and explained how everything operated. We are paying a little over $11,100 for everything but they truly had the best warranties and guarantees than all other estimates.

Given how important the air conditioning is in Texas summers the pricier option was not so bad to wrap my brain around. Financing was easy and the application took less than five minutes online. Excellent company, excellent professionals and excellent experience.

I had a repair scheduled for over a month. I paid almost 4k upfront for parts and labor. On Friday I called to confirm my appointment and was told it was confirmed. This was very important as I had to take vacation time off to get this done. I received a call this morning that apart had not come in and my work had to be rescheduled for another day.

I took more leave time tomorrow to get this done. As a Veteran, I certainly understand the supply chain but I also understand good customer service and follow up to prevent this costly reschedule that I AM EXPECTED TO BE OK WITH! I will not have anymore work done by Champion AC. I see now it is all about the money and nothing about my satisfaction. I am a veteran active in this community and I will share my disappointment and not recommend you to other Vets interested in supporting veteran owned business. Shame on you!

I made an appointment for an AC tune up 10 days prior to appointment date. Appointment was scheduled between 10 and 2. Amanda called me at 10:30 saying her technicians were hung up on another job and they needed to reschedule. Not later in the day or the following day but next week. I declined and went with another company that values other people's time. ///Update/// Saw their "Military Edition" truck. Veteran owned and operated? They need to work on their communication and follow through because the way I was treated was not indicative of military service.

I recently had to replace my central a/c and as it is a big expense, I had 3 different companies give me estimates. Out of all 3 companies I contacted, Jason was by far my favorite estimator! He was very thorough, (visually inspected both of my attics), gave me the best price and also wrote the clearest estimate out of all three companies; hands down. Jason genuinely cared about doing a good job, (translation= he wasn't "salemansy"!), and was fantastic following up with me.

The ONLY reason I didn't go with Champion is because the company I purchased my new system from temporarily fixed my old a/c over the weekend and matched Champion's price. I've had Champion AC install units in my old home in 2013, my new home in 2018. I've also recommended them to my parents and my in-laws. My family has been thrilled with Champion AC, their installation process has been simple. Their team explains everything in depth and their call center is very friendly. They had multiple financing options which helped us in making our decision to move forward.

We added an air purifier in our most recent purchase which helps with the air quality. I have asthma and have allergies, after purchasing the air scrubber plus our house even smells cleaner.

My AC tech, Alfredo, was there fast and explained issues to me thoroughly. These folks are honest and good quality. They aren't the cheapest in town, but they get the job done fast and correctly. There is a lot to be said for reliability and dependability! I've been having problems with hot and cool spots in my house, so I asked Champion to send someone to evaluate my almost new air conditioning system. I couldn't be more impressed with their representative, Alfredo Martinez. He was very well trained, with numerous certifications, and took the time to do a very thorough evaluation of my system and ducting, and made sure to answer all of my questions.

He presented a quote with three options and explained the differences, He was pleasant and courteous, and it may seem like a small thing, but he's the only service person I've ever seen who not only donned shoe covers at the door, but also took them off and put them on before and after tramping around in the dusty attic.

Senior Tech Roy was called out after hours last night for an ac unit that was leaking at our newly bought 2nd property, literally in minutes he diagnosed the problem and fixed it. I had a great experience when my A/C system went down. Jason was very knowledgeable and understanding. He was patient with us as we decided what would be best for our family and he made sure we had a new system installed as soon as possible. First of all, the customer service from Kristen as she answered the phone, was excellent and exceeded my expectations. She promised to have a service tech at my home before 8pm, then went the extra mile to call me back to tell me that a service man would be here before 6pm.
Johnny came out before 6pm and did an excellent job and explained everything that he was doing. He even showed me a few tips to keep my unit running better and eliminate the problem I had. I highly recommend this company and their employees.
