After calling around and collecting quotes to replace our furnace and a/c we chose CMR. I could not be happier, the crew doing the work was personable and professional. They cleaned up the area rearranged the lay out a bit and made it all more compact and clean looking. At one point a water line for the humidifier broke and they used some dirty towels to soak up the water, instead of leaving them there and letting us know they took them home and washed them. Wow who does that true professionals, small things like that say more about a company and people they employ. It shows caring and pride I would definitely recommend them and use them again.

Recently we discovered that our heating and cooling system needed to be replaced. None of this was planned. Andy was out the same day after a brief call. Not only was the responsiveness of CMR great, but Andy spent time with us and provided real solutions to the concerns we shared about the way the old sytem performed. By the end of that day we had solidified a decision. Installation began 2 days later. Joshua and Manuel the primary installers, shared the installation goals for the day, kept us updated, and answered questions.

They were very respectful of our wishes, and their work was neat, tidy and thorough - very professional. Best of all - once the system was up and running we could not believe the difference compared to the old system - quiet, more uniform heat and the comfort that we had been seeking. CMR, Enough said, Andy was at my location, discussed and reviewed my 25 year old furnace, presented a proposal on the spot, set me up an installation date, Josh and Migel showed exactly on time, reviewed the location and went to work, They preformed an A+++++++++ Installation, this crew went above and beyond my expectations, Migel even spent extra time reviewing the new programable thermostat functions, We are now toasty comphy for the winter season and many more to come, Oh yes, the office staff were super friendly and answered any and all requests I had, Thanks again CMR, Steve.

Our furnace stopped functioning on a Saturday morning at 5 am with outside temperature of 15 degrees. I called their 24 hour emergency line shortly after 6:30 and was scheduled that morning. The furnace was at the end of its time to be safely used (16 years) and needed to be replaced. The repair person offered to give us heaters to get get us through the weekend and he went back to the office to get them - we really appreciated that offer.

The team arrived Monday at8:00 and the verbal estimate was honored in the contract. They were they were competent, friendly, knowledgeable and made sure we understood the entire process. We would highly recommend CMR to anyone!

The best experience ever! Many repair services end up charging me for parts I didn't even need, not CMR, they hire honest technicians who conduct a complete diagnosis and even provide a full write up of all work done. They will not charge you for unnecessary parts. CMR is among the best repair service and experience we have ever had.

CMR is top notch from beginning to end. I had a few quotes to replace my 20 year old furnace and AC. Andy picked out a great choice without trying to oversell. I like the Bryant brand they offer since parts and repairs will be easy in the future unlike some other brands. Installation occurred as planned and on time and the techs were great and went above and beyond. Even the inspector said CMR does a great job. Definitely recommend!

CMR has recently installed a new furnace and air conditioner in our home and the process was great from beginning to end. I initially called because of a high energy bill and they educated me as to what was causing my bill to be so high as well as recommending a energy efficient furnace and new air conditioner. The installers were professional, educated me throughout the process and made sure I was able to pick where the air conditioner would be located outside of my home. They walked me through what they had done everyday and were very respectful of my home and installed very quickly. I would recommend them for all HVAC services.

Recently had them replace my furnace (20 years old with a bad heat exchanger). Fortunately, not a failure, so I could get a couple of quotes. So happy I went with CMR. Bid process was easy and quick; price was competitive. Installation was as promised and accomplished in one day. Crew was efficient and respectful of my home. Unit (installed three weeks ago) is working great, including during the recent polar vortex. Owner called back a few days later to check in. They are helping me with my DTE rebate. Couldn't ask for more.

They came on time and delivered exactly what I wanted. I was impressed with their knowledge about Bryant furnaces even noting mine had a known defect and identifying that they had a replacement credit available from Bryant. They even let me borrow 3 space heaters over the weekend when my furnace decided to stop functioning. They will be getting my business from here on out. This is the way to run a business.

I'm happy to reprise my five-star rating for CMR. This time, our furnace decided to blow its circuit board late in the day on the **day before Thanksgiving**! (How perfect is that?) Well, I rang up CMR when I realized the temp in the house was headed seriously south (and not in and good way.). It was after hours, so I left a message. My call was returned within about 20 minutes and wishing about 90 minutes their very excellent HVAC pro was standing on our doorstep, holiday or no.

He rapidly diagnosed the problem and headed back to his truck where he had just the right part to get us back up and running. My questions were patiently answered as was excellent advice on the best way to go on a new furnace when the clock finally runs out on this one. As with all our past experiences, CMR was fast, friendly, informative, and fairly priced. Thanks so much for keeping our home warm and toasty!

Our 1950 house did not have central air conditioning, unfortunately. Once we decided to remedy the situation, Andy Bobo from CMR promptly came out and conducted an estimate. He scheduled install within a week and was very responsive (even texting me directly with updates). During the installation, the power went out for the whole neighborhood. This meant they couldn't complete the job...on the hottest day on record this summer! Andy called me immediately and told me to text him when the power came on.

When the power came back-he sent someone, after hours, to complete the job within an hour! We would definitely recommend CMR. All their employees were professional and kind. Great customer service and results.

I called CMR for issues with my furnace about a month and a half ago, so they sent out a repairman to fix the problem. He said he needed to return the next day to fully fix the problem; however, to this date no one has ever come back to my house. When I called them (They never contacted me) they said that they would be unable to fix the problem and instead of proposing solutions to leave me with a working furnace, they sent me an invoice for a repair of over $400.

When I asked them if they would be able to give me a discount because they actually made it more difficult for me to get a working furnace, they said they would look into it and haven't contacted me regarding their decision. That was over a month ago, and now they sent me another invoice for the original amount plus a late fee. It is clear to me that CMR will help you up to the point where it is convenient for them, and pretend you don't exist once helping you isn't in their best interest. For this reason I would recommend not to choose them for repair jobs.

Great customer service! I had an issue with my hot water heater and they sent a technician to my house immediately. He even went across town to pick up the needed part and came back a few hours later and finished the repair quickly. These guys are fantastic and are highly recommended!

I am a contractor in Ann Arbor and after spending years trying other HVAC companies I stumbled upon CMR Mechanical and haven't used anyone else since. They are professional, knowledgeable and honest. I hear horror stories about people being sold AC units they don't need, CMR is the guys people call after getting taken advantage of. Andy knows his stuff and will tell you what you need, not what is best for making money. They have a great product line and will do honest, quality service just like their tag line says!

CMR Mechanical, came out to replace the water heater in our very old building. The guys did a fantastic job. They were clean, and quick, especially when they had to make adjustments because of the different size pipes they had to deal with in our old building. Price was very reasonable! Thanks guys!

I have had CMR Mechanical out to do checks on my furnace and air conditioning. Our furnace is about 14 years old, and our A/C about 13 years old. I was a little apprehensive about having them out, thinking that they'd find some minor things here and there that would have to be fixed. I was pleasantly surprised both times when they cleaned things up, ran their checks, and said everything was fine.

They could have easily sold me something I didn't need, but that's not the way they operate. If you're looking for an honest, dependable company that won't sell you things you don't need, call CMR Mechanical!

What a terrible, terrible experience! CMR was supposed to repair a boiler which supplies our house with hot domestic water and radiant heat. For the first appointment, nobody showed up and we burned a vacation day for nothing. The second technician came, fiddled around, charged us ~$200 and left us with the same problem. The third technician told us we need a diverter valve but failed to order it for a whole week (until we inquired).

The fourth technician who came to our place told us that they ordered the wrong part and he needs the serial number. By now the fourth week without hot water had started. CMR told us the part will be in within 3 days, next they told us it will take another 3-4 days for the part to arrive. So we called the manufacturer who was surprised by CMR's inability to get hold of the valve they needed.

It shouldn't take longer than 1 day to arrive when ordered. The manufacturer encouraged us to tell CMR to call them directly to sort it out. CMR didn't. Instead, they used their web based ordering system - and of course due to supreme stupidity ordered the wrong part again. By now, 4 weeks were up and we had to leave for CA. In addition to the first problem, now the inducing motor started to rattle.

The manufacturer ensured us that this won't be a serious problem for a while and we could go on vacation. We asked CMR to investigate the motor but don't do anything about it. CMR finally got the hold of the valve. Our house guest let them enter. They replaced the valve. They also replaced the motor. While doing that they broke another part the replacement of which needed to be brought from the company's premises.

Their trucks seem to be poorly stocked on supplies. It took a while for that replacement part to arrive and of course they charged us for their blunder marking the time on the invoice. They wrote us an invoice about labor we haven't ordered with a price tag 4 times as high as agreed upon. However, they finally seemed to have managed to replace that valve.

It only took them close to 5 weeks and cost us 4 half vacation days. Did I mention the work was done by technician Nr. 5? They never sent the same guy twice. They never sent the guy who actually installed the equipment in the first place. Of course this guy took away the parts he pried out of our boiler. I expected him to leave them, but that's just a side note.

Whenever we talked to the owner, it seemed like he wasn't trained in the plumbing business. Instead he sounds like a salesman of sorts - and what a bad one. Now we are disputing their bill and the boss, Andy, gets all nasty, using threats and lies to make us comply to their ridiculous charges. So, if you have any other company to go to, do so. If not, maybe you should get a plumbing certificate and do the work on your own.

CMR is the best. We've dealt with several other mechanical shops and none compare. 2 rooms upstairs are very cold, the competition told us that was a design flaw with our house and suggested space heaters. CMR put in a blower and the problem is solved.
