We've used Stephen K Denny for years for all our HVAC and pool heater needs and have always been extremely happy with them. I had scheduled Stephen K. Denny to do some preventative maintenance on our A/C unit. The maintenance crew did a great job! They cleaned the coils, checked for the ducts for leaks, replaced the filter and cleaned the blower fan blades! They were on time, very quick and left everything all nice and clean they way they found it. Way to go Logan & David!

It was time to get a new ac rather than try to repair my old one again. I had Stephen k Denny come out and was pleased with their pricing. My technicians were fantastic. They were polite and thorough and super friendly. My new ac is so much quieter than my old one and keeps my house humidity free. I never get those moments where I feel hot either.

It keeps my house at a steady cool temperature. One of the best and most surprising things is that my electric bill has dropped! Fantastic service. Fantastic ac unit. Fantastic lower electric bill. I couldn't be any happier.

My property manager left me without A/C for over a week not wanting to spend any money to have my air handler repaired. Stephen K Denny Air Conditioning Company tried repeatedly to get in touch with him to complete the repairs - without success. However, they were willing to get my A/C going without charge while they continued to attempt to contact the property management company.

I am a disabled veteran and consider their action to be well above and beyond the usual expectations. Living in West Palm Beach without A/C is almost impossible, and I greatly appreciate Stephen K. Denny Air Conditioning Company being concerned with my situation and willing to make a no-charge temporary repair to get my A/C up and running. I can't recommend them highly enough.

Stephen K Dennys installed the AC unit in my home about 6 years ago. They sold me on the "top of the line" Lennox system. Within the short amount of time of having this unit, I have already had to replace the condenser coil. Today my unit stopped working in the middle of the night. The company advertises as a 24 hour service company, however when my AC went out in the middle of the night, that was not the case.

My first call was placed at 3:45 AM, second call was placed at around 4:30AM and my final phone call was at 7 AM. I did not get a phone call back from a technician until 7:40 AM who essentially did nothing but relay my service needs to the schedulers who put me on the schedule for 10-12. I feel like that's false advertisement. Why have someone even answer my calls if you have no intentions of coming to my home until normal business hours?

If I needed a regular appointment I would have called at 8 AM but your phone line actually says "for emergency after hours service press _". I'm just really frustrated that you even say that you offer the service when you really don't. I have 3 young children sleeping in my house and I was ready to pay for an emergency service fee. The technician came today for $89 I believe, and quickly diagnosed my issue, but wanted to charge me over $100 just to vacuum the lines.

We declined the service and did it ourselves which took 10 minutes and now we are back in business. The technician was trying to sell me on another thermostat because mine is now out of warranty and "the display didn't look right" which the thermostat is 6 years old now so the display is a bit older, but there is nothing wrong with it. Also another discrepancy, I had a technician come out to my home a couple months ago when I needed my condenser coil replaced, and the technician filled my unit with Freon.

The technician didn't even let me know what he was doing or the cost of the service before doing so. Then told me I owed x amount of dollars without any notice or confirmation from time that I actually wanted him to preform that service. Stephen K Denny did end up refunding me the amount I paid for the service the technician did without my approval first which I greatly appreciate, however after the series of disappointment with the company I unfortunately will be switching to another company to service my unit and mini split moving forward.

This company came out to air balance my AC system last year to remedy hot/cold spots. The tech went up into the ceiling, heard him walking around up there for about an hour. Came down, said he installed 2 dampers and then he left. Winter came and I didn't notice the issue as much so I thought the problem was fixed. Come this summer, the problem is still there.

I hired another HVAC company to take a look. They said no dampers or work any work at all was performed when Stephen K Denny came out. I went into the attic to confirm and there were no dampers installed last year. I paid over $350 for Stephen K Denny's to do NOTHING and lie to me that they installed dampers. Stay away.

SCAM. I had this company come to perform regular maintenance on a unit that I just purchased, since they were the company the previous owners had used. OF COURSE The tech said i had a big mildew problem and tried to sell me a UV light. I played along and asked him which one he recommended, and OF COURSE he enthusiastically recommended the most expensive one, for $1500.

Not kidding! they run $2-300 on Amazon. I called another AC tech that was recommended to me highly. He came out and looked at the "mildew". He took a picture of it, before and after he wiped it off with a cloth. It was on a smooth surface, and he said it took him literally 10 seconds to clean it. why didn't the previous tech clean it? Isn't that what he was therefore, to perform maintenance?

I would be willing to bet they pull this same routine m regularly. guess what else? He also showed me a picture of the UV light that I ALREADY HAVE in my attic -! don't use this company, they are a total scam. Do you know what else? They're not friendly at all. AT ALL. at the end of the day, I'm really glad I had this experience, because it led me to an excellent tech who is far more reasonable and completely honest. I thought I had finally found a honest ac company. I even recommended a friend who also bought an ac unit through them to the tune of $5k. Do not use this company. I have been lied to so many times by Dustin the manager. They said they were fixing my unit under warranty yet I get a $400 bill so not under warranty and better yet the part they replaced didn't even fix it.

So still does not work and I told them multiple times yet here I am with a bill and a late payment charge. Then my thermostat broke on an ac unit that cost 6k+. $800 to replace. After call them they were like nope only one you can get and not under warranty. Actually it is under warranty bc they had replaced. And I didn't even need the $800 version and when I asked multiple times he lied to me just to make a buck. Do yourself a favor and find another company.

Waited around for hours only to call the guy who thought I cancelled which I clearly hadn't and he wasn't going to be able to show up for several more hours. I'm stuck in a hot house with small children waiting and waiting. Needless to say I cancelled and called someone else. Horrible service.

Just filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau! I had been a loyal client since 2006, purchasing annual service and maintenance agreements and extended warranties on all new equipment. The company has gone down hill over the last two years. Constant changes in office staff has caused their records to be in complete disarray. You must demand and hang on to EVERY warranty, invoice, and maintenance report.

You must keep track of when you are due for maintenance. After repeated aggravation trying to deal with Dustin, the service and maintenance manager, I have finally given up and taken my business to another company.

$950 flat rate to swap a compressor. Took two guys less than 2 hours. That's about $250 per hour. $80 per lb for r-401. You can buy it all day for $5 per lb. I feel ripped off. They did fix the A/C quickly but the tariff was high.

My brand new pool heater stopped working after one day. I called Stephen K. Denny Inc. as the authorized factory repair service. They scheduled a service call in one day, diagnosed the problem and replaced a shorted circuit board the same day. The pool heater now works perfectly. Brian, the technician was professional, courteous, and very technically knowledgeable. Excellent customer service. I will be a repeat customer.

The job isn't complete yet, but my first two encounters with the company have been excellent. On the phone, Morgan had all the answers and was perfectly professional. Mike Sokolowski came to our home and discussed the unit we are purchasing to replace our AC, and couldn't have been more competent. He went over details of pricing and installation, and he promised to get the job done as soon as possible, with a call to his boss to make sure. At this point, we couldn't be happier.

A neighbor recommended SKD and after receiving several bids we decided to replace our aging air system with a Trane 16 SEER. They offered the same service as the others at a fair price. The sales and installation team were informative, friendly, did not leave a mess and the Installation went well. My husband is in construction and thought they did a professional installation. And we are happy with our new digital thermostat.

I have had service for several years and previously found their Technicians as being professional. That being said it was mostly routine Maintenance, but now I had a leak in the system. They sent out 3 people on 3 separate times and could not find the problem. I called another Company shortly thereafter and they found a minor leak in the evaporator coil.

I later called their service manager to tell him about this and he came across like he really didn't care. I spoke to several other in my community who used them, but had a similar experience and dropped them. I gather they have had a turnover in staff and are having problems. They also have new ownership. I give them 2 stars as the people sent out acted professionally, but can't give a higher grade as they did not resolve the problem.

Mike and his team did an EXCELLENT job of explaining the entire process to us. Not only do we feel we got an exceptional price, but Mike went above and beyond to make sure we were completely taken care of. In addition to installing our new equipment, they checked our existing equipment to make sure everything was running properly and fixed the errors found at no additional cost! Sunday service, prompt & courteous My DIY installation of a nest thermostat resulted in a broken AC First good item, Stephen K Denny, Inc answered the phone on a Sunday - not all AC companies I called did. The second good thing, their technician, Justin was prompt (called to try to solve my problem on the phone, that did not work (my deficiency), agreed a time frame when he would be here, then called to let me know when he was on his way), courteous and professional. Third good thing, it was just a blown fuse and we were back up and running in no time. Service could not have been better!

This company is extremely professional and gave us a great deal. We found them through Costco which made our decision easier since Costco screens them for you and we even got a Costco rebate. An FPL rebate is also given. Mike Sokolowski was so helpful explaining what we could and couldn't have regarding sizes and locations. Britney was great setting everything up and getting the permits.

Chip and Nola (sorry about the spelling), were amazing when it came to the installation. I was impressed how they went out of their way to make things happen and thoroughness that they provided. They went above and beyond what I expected. Stephen K. Denny is the best A/C company! I would recommend them to everyone! Thanks to all who helped make our summer a COOLER season!
