I rarely post reviews. However a high quality, locally owned contractor is a tough thing to find these days. DFH has done HVACs for a couple houses on my block. So, when my 16 year old unit got on its last leg, I gave them a call. During a heatwave, they were able to get me scheduled within a week. They showed up promptly for the install, and did a great job.

We have been using DFH to maintain our Trane HVAC system for 16 years. They installed the two units in 2001 when our home was built. I know the service scheduler by name (as they routinely service our system twice a year). They're always on time, proactive with service contract maintenance, and professional. We recently updated our system and felt we received a fair price.

Was very pleased in the way they conduct business. Salesperson was able to come out 2 hrs. after calling to inquire about replacing heat pump. Suggested that a unit that I received a quote on from a different company was bigger than I needed. Explained the difference between the two units, along with the pros and cons. Installers were punctual, (masked up) and very polite. Explained and answered all questions and was very business like performing their jobs.
What impressed me most was that the owner called to make sure we were happy. He also had the salesperson come out the following day to check the work. This is a company that not only wants your business but appreciates your business. A++

Another company was going to charge me $4000 for repair to my a/c, but DFH was honest enough and proficient to repair it for just $185. Unlike the other company, the mechanic, who looked and presented like a mechanic and not a salesman, said the unit had another 4-5 years left on its lifetime, something the other company didn't tell me. Since my repairs, my a/c is working like a gem

I normally do not post reviews, but was inspired to do so after continued great service and extreme professionalism exhibited by the DFH team. My interactions with the receptionist, the scheduler, the techs, even the owners have been filled with immediate response to our needs, effective communication and great care in the work completed for our home.
This includes a new install after a basement flood and a myriad of other events over the past three years in our old but very loved Louisville home. DFH was an absolute life saver for us. We've had so many people look at our AC and DFH was the only company who was truly honest, and knowledgeable. We weren't sold some "Easy repair" to save them time and get our money. We replaced the entire unit and felt very comfortable with their evaluation. In a world with no time to slow down, it's nice to know a company like this is out there, so you don't have to waste your time talking to multiple contractors. They may not be the cheapest, but they're the best. Look no further!

DFH just installed Mitsubishi mini split units on our second floor. They were very responsive when I called for a quote, getting back to me the very same day. They were able to do our install within the week, and they finished everything in one day. The guys that came out to do the work were professional and friendly. We're very happy with our new units! I had dfh put a furnace in 30 years ago they have a very friendly staff and installers KL&TH were great. Had to replace with new furnace due to cracked heat exchanger I definitely got my money's worth. I would definitely recommend them and give them a five-star. Also I called them they were out within 35 minutes gave estimate and installed the next morning.

we went with DFH after shopping around for quotes and they were great! $90 to fix what “the other place” was going to charge $700 to fix bc they literally missed a loose bolt that was leaking on the front of the unit. Thanks for the recommendation! We will be using them for any future problems and routine maintenance.

Seriously can’t say enough good things about them..our furnace went out 12:30 New Year’s Eve..(Happy new year to us)we had bryant heating come in and gave us quotes and evaluated..we were than recommended to DFH..diagnosed the same problem but quoted the fix and fixed same day for half of what Bryant was going to charge..along with the quote we didn’t feel we were being bs like Bryant was doing..highly recommend them if anyone local has heating or air conditioner issues
