Jason the owner was fair and responsive. Chris and Van performed the install were very efficient, friendly and answered all of my questions. They installed new Amana 16 Seer condenser and coil with a lifetime warranty on the compressor. If the compressor fails Amana replaces the entire condensing unit. Highly recommend this company.

Direct AC replaced our furnace and air conditioner this last week. As we were going through the process of getting quotes, Jason and Chris were great to work with. They answered all of our questions both while they were here and after we had time to review the quote. They sent us plenty of information about the products so that we could make an informed decision, but was not attempting to sell us something that we didn't want or need.

They really cared about our satisfaction and didn't treat us like just another sale. The schedulers were easy to work with and called to set up the appointments quickly after we decided to go for the replacement A/C and furnace. On the day that we had scheduled, Chris showed up early and got to work immediately. They did a very fast, but very professional looking installation.

They didn't leave until all of the equipment was installed and tested, and they had shown us how to maintain each piece of equipment. They cleaned up after themselves before they left, and had it not been for the new equipment, you wouldn't have known they were here. The quote that we were given before the project started is the amount that was billed. It included everything, including all taxes so there were no surprises. Overall, Direct AC was a great company to work with and we would highly recommend them to anyone!

Shawn took care of us so well. He was prompt and fast! I cant believe it took us this long to get our heater fixed. didnt know this was that great of a value! We def had a good experience. We'll definitely come back here and request for shawn!

I communicated with Jason who was able to arrange a complete system install on very short notice. Van, Chris, & Sean set up a furnace with heater & air conditioner in my home. The guys were professional, personable, and took the time to answer all questions I had. They stayed until the job was complete and cleared away the all the mess. It's refreshing to have folks who take pride & care about what they leave behind, a positive impression and craftsmanship in a job well done!

First off, Jason was excellent from the start to finish. Jason got back to me quickly; sent me options, had a tech come by for look and scheduled my installation within a weeks time. Chris and Van were on time for the schedule installation, ready for the day and they finished the job in record time. I was working from home the entire time and could barely tell thy were in my home.

They were so professional, they wore their masks and were respectful of my home. Like magic my old system was removed, my new system was installed and they repaired the minor issues. I was having trouble with my heater and air conditioner units I was able to find Direct AC who were local and also able to support small business: Chris came out within an hour of my called. They were able to resolve my heater issues and little did I know is that the unit needed to be cleaned. Being a mom I was sure happy they were able to come out immediately during my busy week and my kids were able to get warm ASAP.

What can I say but professionalism at it finest. I have worked with Direct AC for years on properties that I help to sell, but it was now time to use there service in my own home needing to replace my AC and completely redo our duct work. From the care taken to make sure all our clothes were covered in our closet since that is where they had to access our attic to protecting our floors and leaving the job site clean went beyond our expectations. Jason installed a new AC for me back in 2017 and did an amazing job at a great price! Just recently, Van came out to determine why my AC on my rental property was not turning on and diagnosed the issue quickly then came back a few days later and fixed it. Jason and Mike installed a new custom HVAC system in my 1953 home. We have a flat roof with no attic space which meant all ducting and HVAC system had to be installed on the roof. Jason and Mike made sure to place everything as far back as possible so as not to be seen as much from the street. The install took 4 days and everything went smoothly. Jason and Mike were great to work with and did in excellent job.

They removed the old wall heaters that were no longer necessary, and installed the Nest thermostat which is amazing! I love being able to control the thermostat from my phone, makes it so easy and convenient. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to install a new system in their home. These guys are super hard working guys and worked in the blistering heat just to get us in the cool zone. It's the first hot, humid day in Carlsbad this year, but it's nice and cool inside, which reminds me. I need to write a review for Direct AC. Jason and his crew installed a new heating and AC system in my house last month. Jason came recommended by my friend Maureen T, and I was very happy with his service or the installed system. I did some price comparisons and his cost was a little lower than others too.

I opted for a dual-zone system that has separate controls for the upstairs and downstairs. The system is integrated through networked Nest controllers; via an iPhone app I can change the thermostat settings, run the fan, etc. from anywhere. It's great for when I go somewhere and want to shut the system off entirely and when I want to check the indoor temp to make sure that my dog is comfortable (yes, priorities!). It's also great for those times when I don't want to get out of bed that badly until it's a nice 70F upstairs.

The installation went very smoothly. Jason even found that the new compressor could be hidden on the side of my house, freeing up more space in the yard. He also coordinated the installation to occur at the same time I was having solar panels installed. That minimized the overall amount of time my home was under construction. I appreciated Jason's attention to detail.

He put touch-up paint around one new thermostat to cover up holes left by the old one, and painted my ceiling attic hatch, which had accumulated smudges and fingerprints over the years. He also replaced all the vents in the house to new ones that allow for multidirectional airflow -- the familiar old vents just pointed airflow left or right. A few days after installation the blower fan was rattling. Jason came out right away to fix it.

Over a year later, the AC was sending a funny dirty-sock smell throughout the house after not being used over the winter and spring. Jason came out the next day, cleaned out the condenser, and installed a UV disinfecting system (without charging for the part or the labor!) that keeps funny stuff from growing when I don't use AC. I thoroughly recommend Direct AC: technically competent with outstanding service. Pics to come.

Jason did Awesome work on our property, not only did he install a brand new Air Conditioning unit in our house(custom job our house was built in 1955) but he also included a brand new Heater for the same price the other Company wanted to charge us for just the Air Conditioner. I work out of my home and take care of my Grand Babies during the day so it was kind of noisy and messy while they worked but it was for only three days, they made sure to clean up every end of day they worked. I highly recommend this Company not only for the great price but also for the workmanship!

I wanted to add a damper to my furnace (after he installed a new compressor and ducts the month prior) and he called back the same day and scheduled an appointment. Excellent professional company. They replaced my AC 3 years ago. I've recommended them to many people and everyone is happy with them. They come out as fast as they can and don't charge you for what you don't need. Very honest company. I would recommend them completely. My air conditioner stopped working late on a Sunday evening. On Monday, I turned it on hoping it would work. Of course not, it's the hottest time of year. I called several places & no one could get to me until Tuesday or Wednesday. I found Direct AC about 4:30 pm. I was told what the problem probably was. They had no service call charge and told me that they would fix right on the spot if I approved the cost.

They told me about 6 or 6:30 someone would be there. At 6:25 I was called back and said the repair man would be here by 7:30. Two techs came right before 7:30. They diagnosed the problem and had it fixed by 8 pm. I was so happy. This company is who I will be calling from now on. Thanks so much!

I stumbled across Direct AC about 5 years ago when I purchased my first home in downtown Riverside. Our Realtor misled us regarding the central air in the home (there was not AC) so after moving into the home on the hottest weekend in July, we were at a loss. Knowing that we would be looking at $10k for a brand new AC/Heating we stuck out the rest of that summer but by the following spring we were searching for companies to get us the best pricing for our new unit. We woke up to a cold house last Saturday. Direct AC was recommended to me by a co-worker who was satisfied with their past service. I called them early and they had a worker out that morning. They were able to find the problem with our furnace, replace the faulty part and had it working again the same day. I was afraid it was going to cost an arm and a leg, or that they would tell us we needed a new furnace.
