We had Dave from Ductwork's repair an ac unit at our condo in Newington. He went above and beyond by locating and repairing the capacitor on the roof unit. I highly recommend Ductwork's. Dave deserves a raise for his dedication to his customers.

Eric, Eric and team did an absolutely outstanding job installing a brand new Carrier central air system with new ductwork through closets and finished the job in 1.5 days. They went above and beyond in managing our expectations throughout the process. The whole experience was seamless and exactly what you want. I would highly recommend ductwork team for all HVAC needs. The pricing was unbeatable as well. Can't say enough good things about the crew. Pls keep up the good work.

Highly recommend - big company resources with great customer service! Ductworks installed a ductless system with mini split / air handler unit. Also worked with subcontractor for electrical hookup and upgrade. Team was great to work with start to finish. Company was very flexible and open to discussing all install options. Zak on the sales side has prior HVAC experience so was very helpful to talk through the install and entire process. Install was smooth, prompt and had frequent communication. Dedicated back office/customer service was always one call away.

After getting blown off by a different company, Eric came and gave us a very thorough and fair quote. Jordan and his team came out two weeks later and cometed a full central air install from scratch, giving us information and options along the way. They even gave us a vent where we didn't think we could get one. The fact that it is a family run company is even better. Highly recommend.

I didn't even get any service but when I called they told me they couldn't help me because they only service Southington. I live in Plainville, literally the town over. Their website says, "We've been helping homeowners in Southington, CT, and the surrounding areas with all of their heating needs since 1992." Please update your website if this is truly the case.

These guys were great. Zack was professional and knowledge when he came to give me my quote. James and Eddy were also very professional and friendly when they installed the system. They installed a split ductless ac/heating unit. Lynn and Amanda in the office were also extremely helpful through the whole process. It was a great experience working with them!

Overall, things were ok: I called at the end of the day and rc'd a call back the next--and they scheduled me for AC repair the following day. However, on the day of the appt, our window of 12-2 was pushed to 3pm--which I do understand b/c we were in a heat wave but figure I should share this piece of info here. I was told via phone the diagnosis was $79. Tech came out and he was patient while I explained; he was able to fix the problem.

My concerns: he did not wear a mask, nor offer to wear a mask. I don't know if he's vaccinated, and that info wasn't offered but the fact that a mask was not worn was troubling. And, while he diagnosed the problem and fixed it, I was 1. not told the problem before he fixed it and 2. not told the COST before he fixed it (turned out to be over $300).what if I didn't have that money available? These are customer service issues that are problematic. I am unclear if i would use them again.

They lie temps are to high. We had a working three ton. This company replaced with a two ton and it is not keeping up. They promised to replace with the same ton they took out then change there story. It would be a lose for the company. And that's why I Must admit the owner is not going above and beyond to fix but still no change this is the temp after owner cam coming out of vent. 61-69 says it should be 52 not anywhere close to that.

They need to train there sales associates better. Now they ignor are call Don't hire these people they are liers and all about fraud. Also don't trust the Waterbury city half ass inspection by inspector. May call the states attorney on this / city dont help us They lie temps are to high. We had a working three ton. This company replaced with a two ton and it is not keeping up.

They promised to replace with the same ton they took out then change there story. It would be a lose for the company. And that's why I Must admit the owner is not at all going above and beyond to fix but still no change this is the temp after owner cam coming out of vent. 61-69 says it should be 52 not anywhere close to that. They need to train there sales associates better.they lied again said they were giving a refund then a week later say they will not come to service the labor warranty.

Then they said they would replace with a three ton they lied.then they promised a refund all lies. So I just post paid ads on Facebook for the town they live and work in. For five days. And Facebook accepts it.

A few days ago, our heating system stopped working. After considering different options to repair it, we decided to replace both the heating and cooling system, since it was an old one and the cost of the repairs was not worth the expense. We considered several companies and brands and in the end, we decided to go with Carrier and Ductworks. Our experience was excellent.

It began with our initial contact call with Lynn. She scheduled a visit to our home that same day. Eric came to our home and presented us with 3 different alternatives to replace our equipment. He provided all the relevant information and documentation about the equipment. After we decided to accept Ductwork's proposal, the installation was set immediately.

The installation crew was very respectful and worked fast. We are working from home and stayed at the home during the installation, along with our 3 dogs, and that was not an issue for Ductworks. In the end, Ryan walked with us and showed us the equipment, features, and the new thermostat functions. We decided to go with the Infinity series; totally worth it. The way that the system performs it is really impressive and different from what we have.

I am delighted by Ductworks and my Carrier HVAC unit performance, it is now 45 days since installation. Kurt Nichols who came to sell the product is the owner and took time to explain the product & his organization. He sent his service crew to check existing non functioning AC free of cost. Although the AC remained non operational, I was impressed that Kurt cared for his customer.

The Installation team were professional, friendly and efficient, completed the job in 1 day. The disappointment was the 4 week wait for installation and being without AC in summer. Hope in future they are able to offer shorter Installation schedule. I am also happy with the AO Water heater Performance, felt the pricing was on higher side. I was happy the Sales & installation team replaced it in 1 day of my old water heater breakdown, and therefore was inconvenienced for 1 day. Thank you Ductworks for good products, product performance, and very friendly, professional and qualified sales & installation teams.

We called Ductworks HVAC Services and Mike with his technician team did a very good job. Everyone was very knowledgeable and friendly. They answered all my questions and showed me how the system is designed to work and how to operate it. He explained everything in detail and was very patient when we had our many questions. We had an old oil furnace and we often spent money for technicians to fix it and to constantly refill the tank.

I decided to convert to a gas boiler. I converted to the Navien, Condensing Gas Combination Boiler since it is more economical and an efficient heating system that is very quiet and small. Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, Clean Appearance, Responsive are of the many traits I would put them as. The job was done very quickly, and they cleaned up as if they were never there. I strongly recommend Ductworks.

We are in the market for a new boiler and called Ductworks for an estimate. I spoke with Lynn, and explained that we were on a really short time table as we were headed out of town in a few days. She said that she didn't have anything available until after then. After communicating that with my partner, I told her we would simply give her a call back if we decided to schedule further out.

Before I finished my sentence she had hung up. Obviously we won't be working with a company that isn't even able to properly train their customer service agents. That being said, after looking at these other reviews on Yelp, I'm glad that we didn't pick this company. The red flags are not in the review, but in the responses by Amanda T.

Any customer relations specialist worth their salt knows that you never turn on online complaint into a defensive pissing match. She made it very clear to me that this company is more concerned about appearing "right" and not liable than actually helping their customers. I know nothing about their actual workmanship and policies, but right from the start it's a pretty poor view.

Had central air installed in our house. Ductworks did a great job, exactly as quoted. Their crew was efficient and professional. They also helped complete rebate paperwork. Came back to add some trim as promised. Would definitely use them again!

I've been a customer of Ductworks for about 18 years. During that time I have had a new furnace, air conditioner and hot water heater installed. Maintenance is done yearly and on my schedule. The few times I needed some emergent work done, they were responsive and got things done quickly. Highly recommended!

BUYER BEWARE! I had ductworks install a new carrier furnace and central air system in July of 2017 for approximately $11,000. The initial impression of the company was good but then a few issues began to arise afterwards. On two separate occasions I went into my basement to find the insulated flex ductwork hanging on the ground, it had been connected with only HVAC aluminum tape.

I called Ductworks out both times and they added additional bracing closer to the connection point (which should have been done during install). After the second issue with the flex duct coming dislodged I walked around the furnace to see if anything else was wrong and that is when I found a screw wedged into the barometric damper. The screw was in there tight and didn't allow the damper to open at all.

I assumed it was put there by accident by another technician we had come out, approximately 6 months before, to increase the heat that was blowing into our family room. I explained to him that I was not pleased with my experiences and was concerned about potential damage to my new furnace. He told me the owner would call me about the issues. Five days later Kurt called me and I explained my frustration.

At no time during this call did he apologize, rather he just asked questions and then wanted me to send him the picture I took of the screw. I immediately sent him the picture but didn't get a call back that day. The next morning i received a text saying that the screw being there "doesn't make sense" and he was willing to give me a free tuneup.

I explained to him that he could keep the tuneup and I would no longer be using his company. Kurt called me and asked what was wrong. I brought up the fact that he never apologized and continued to try and explain away the issues. During one of his explanations he hurt his own argument- while I thought the screw was placed there by accident when we had an additional duct installed 6 months prior, Kurt dismissed this theory and mentioned that those screws come wedged into the dampers when they are brand new.

This explanation pissed me off more than anything, that would mean that the screw had been wedged in there for over a year and a half and was missed by the 4 separate technicians that came to my house, 1 of which was for an annual cleaning. When I brought that up you could hear the tone in his voice change as he realized that I was right. Throwing free tuneups at customers is not good service, I would rather have the job done correctly the first time. Needless to say I told him to keep the free tuneup and I will no longer be using Ductworks.

I recently had home AC related issue. Based on Google search, I called Ductworks and they promptly sent someone within few days. It was a diagnosis-only appointment. Within 5 minutes of inspection, he started selling services(sealant, etc). In fact he also sold me the Ductworks service contract. - Its a 4 year old house which I mentioned to the technician; these guys must know about warranty and guide in that direction.

In fact the system is in warranty which I later found out. - If your assignment is to diagnosis, please do a thorough job of understanding the problem. - Please do not jump to sells right away. I am not recommending Ductworks to anyone.

The technician was only at my house for 20 minutes for routine maintenance and charged me $150+. Two months later, my central air stopped working on a 90+ degree day. Since I had a contractor already at the house, he had his AC contractor come out and fix it. Turns out the pipe that drains to the gutter was clogged, the condensation backed up, and the safety switch turned off the air.

The AC contractor told me that Ductworks should have caught the issue during their inspection. He also said that a thorough check is closer to 1.5 hours, not anywhere near 20 minutes. I called Ductworks to explain the situation and asked for a refund of the $150. The Office Manager told me she would talk to the owner and would call me back, but she failed to do so even weeks later.

When I finally did call back, she spent at least 5 minutes arguing with me like I was a child. She was completely unprofessional and lacked any sense of customer service. Ironically, their hold message says "100% satisfaction guaranteed or your money back". Clearly they don't stand behind their word.
