Ford's RV Absorption Refrigeration Training Center Roger D. and Onna Lee Ford, who have been married since 1978, apply their Christian beliefs to their business practices by offering quality service at a fair rate. The company began work in 1984. Along with the extensive RV refrigerator reconditioning the offer, they also provide global licensed training in the field of absorption refrigerator cooling unit reconditioning.

1990 - began advocating Going Green with RV refrigerators and began training refrigerator repair and cooling unit reconditioning to others throughout the USA and other countries, in an attempt to make this service available to all RV owners.

1994- Wrote the first and only RV absorption refrigerator reconditioning manual available. This manual is used in their training today.

November 2005 - their business, home, vehicles, and all belongings were totally destroyed by a tornado with over 200 mph winds. In May 2006, they reopened their doors, were awarded Business of the Month by the Chamber of Commerce, became members of the Recreational Vehicle Dealers Association, and increased their training to involve certification.

In 2007, they added to their Go Green efforts in order to keep repairable RV refrigerators out of the landfills nationwide, by developing the RVRN Association. This Association networks those who have received Ford RV's certification training. They also became members of the Better Business Bureau Association, and became Certified Kentucky State inspectors. Over the years, their customers have voiced the need for a manual that would enable them to do minor fixings themselves, or at the very least, give them enough education to know whether or not a service tech had been properly educated.

So in 2009, they published the 241-paged book, Average Joe's RV Refrigerator Troubleshooting & Repair Guide. This first of its kind manual, also supports the Going Green movement. From 2003 to 2009, editors from many technical magazines engaged the Fords to write articles for their magazines and websites.

In 2014, Ford's RV became a Kentucky State Licensed Proprietary School.

I would highly recommended Fords RV Refrigerator Training center. This training gave me the education and better understanding on how the absorption refrigerators work. The training I received allowed me to start my own business. You can't get a better instructors then Roger and Onna Lee, Ford!

If you are experiencing problems with your RV refrigerator, I recommend highly Ford's RV Refrigeration Center. They have 30 years in the business, specifically in RV refrigeration repair. Most dealers or independent shops do not have the know how, to fix these refrigerators opting instead (like me) to either replace the cooling unit. Or the entire refrigerator.

In most cases, your problem is simple and less expensive, but the untrained multitasking dealership opts for an expensive replacement. There's more money in it. We saw the Ford's on YouTube. We live in San Diego California. Being that Kentucky was a long way, I realized if Roger Ford is true to his word, that replacing my fridge is not the answer- then driving to Kentucky made perfect sense. Result?

In an hour's time Roger's team analyzed our refrigerator's problem that has plagued us for months. We stayed on th heir beautiful property for one night, the checked their work again to make sure all was well. FIXED for about the same cost as my extended warranty would charge me for a co-pay. I didnt bother with them. 5 star review.
