These guys are pretty legit; professional and knowledgeable without any BS. The technician, Kevin, was friendly and easy to talk to. He even suggested a repair I can do on my own to save some money which I am more than happy to do, and very appreciative of. It looks like these guys have some competent guys working for them, if they're able to keep guys for 20+ years than it must be a good company. Highly recommended and probably should have called sooner.

This company installed a furnace without going over my options for a larger filter size given the furnace for the main unit lives inside the ADU!? The furnace only takes a size that has to be changed monthly. When I asked them to discuss my options, they want to charge me again to come out! This after they've been neglecting my calls for over two years trying to find out the right size for the furnace as I was left with the cheapest worst starter filter that didn't even really fit.

I would definitely recommend The Heating Specialist if you are looking for help with your HVAC system. I worked with Kevin 8 days ago when my heater stopped working. He quickly diagnosed the issue as a failed blower motor using a specialty tester - he is a true expert in HVAC systems. They were unable to fix the heater due to no availability in the US of a Lennox warrantied part due to COVID supply chain issues. Kevin gave me three options: replace the furnace, get the part and have him install it, or get the part and install it myself.

I told him I wanted to install it myself and he took the time to walk me through the process. Because of him, I was able to find a motor off eBay and repair my heater! I really trust The Heating Specialist because of Kevin. He wasn't just trying to make money by forcing a new heater as my only option. He did the right thing and helped me get my heater working in a cost effective way. I'll be calling them once I actually do need to replace my heater.

During the hottest days of this summer when it hit 115, our AC could barely keep up-- and along with everyone else in town --our AC unit was on it's last leg because the previous owner's dog hair was in everything. We couldn't get a hold of several companies or they couldn't come out for several weeks, but The Heating Specialist responded. Danielle showed up the next night after hours to see what was going on -- and it turns out our AC and Furnace were near end of life.

He put us on the list to have everything replaced, and ordered all the parts immediately. They kept us informed of the timeline on when to expect the new install and we were super lucky that it only took about 1.5 weeks since the temperature didn't drop below 85 for weeks. They were on time, professional with the install and clean-up, and provided us with a new system.

They had everything with them and completed the install of the new AC, furnace, and thermostat all in one day. We wanted the super allergen filter but wasn't able to fit our existing system but they problem solved and was able to get us an air scrubber. Now we have a cool house, and clean air. My allergies have never been better. It's been a couple of months since they installed, and everything is working very well. We had near 100 degree days since and this new system keeps up with the temperature without any issues. HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend. They are professionals.

Kevin was great! He was very friendly, called when he was on his way and got my AC running in about 1/2 an hour! Their office staff was easy to contact, was able to schedule me sooner than anyone else, sent me an invoice prior to my appointment and an updated invoice after the repair was completed. I am so grateful to go into this heatwave this weekend with air conditioning! I will definitely call them again if I need help with my furnace.

The Heating Specialist came recommended to me by a good friend. On a super short notice (only a few hours) Daniel came out to give me an estimate on an A/C replacement unit. Mine was over twenty years old, and not working, I knew it was time for a new one. The estimate was reasonable, the unit quoted was in stock, and their schedule for installation was open for the following week. (Estimate quote on a Thursday, installed on the following Monday) Santino, and Jimmy arrived at the scheduled time, and got right to work.

They removed the old, and installed the new unit in about four hours. I'm very pleased with whole experience, from the first phone call, to them cleaning up nicely, and having a cooled home again. Thank you THS

The Heating Specialist installed our new heat pump today. The whole process was seamless. I had contacted a few companies and Daniel was the most prompt to respond and after meeting with him, I didn't get any other proposals. Jana in the office was wonderful and provided great follow up, even when I was slacking. Today, the installers Carlos and another gentleman, arrived at the early end of their arrival window and were very friendly and got right to work.

I was not home for the installation, but Carlos called as soon as they were finished with a couple of follow ups and recommendations. The end project turned out perfect! I would absolutely recommend The Heating Specialist! You won't be disappointed.

We wanted to compliment the helpful, responsive, and courteous service we received from Neil. During a time of bad weather with great demands being placed on a number of similar kinds of specialized service providers, he came to our house on the same day we called the Heating Specialist and helped us with our water-leaking problem. Although the services the Heating Specialist provide turned out to be different than what we ultimately needed, Neil nonetheless stayed and implemented a short-term solution and gave us very helpful and insightful advice for moving forward. He could have said that he and his company could not help us, but he stayed and assisted us during our time of need. We were and still are impressed.

Super impressed with this company. We had another company out to repair our water boiler & after 8hrs they still couldn't get it up & running. I called The Heating Specialists for a 2nd opinion and in an hour he had our system up & running. They have to order 1 part but he was able to leave our system safely running. I feel I got an honest opinion from a honest repair man.

The other company sent me an estimate for nearly $2k for repairs and I just paid $150 to get it running and I'm
Sure it will be about an hour to get the new relay installed.

For last couple of years I've used these folks to maintain and repair an aging and failing water heater/boiler. Based on their response and effort to fix my problems - and expertise in boilers - I finally bit the bullet and contracted for installation of a new Lochinvar combo boiler. I trusted their judgement and recommendation that this unit will perform better and last longer than other brand originally installed about 9 years ago. Installation went smooth and quicker than estimated. All workers (they sent a full crew) were friendly and professional, and came all masked up.

I'm so happy we went with The Heating Specialist to install our new furnace, AC, and thermostat. Daniel was great getting us all the info we needed and had us scheduled for installation promptly. I enjoyed working with the whole team, from installers to technicians to the office staff. It's a big investment so it's good to know the team cares about their work.

We have lived in our home for 8 years and it was purchased with new forced air heat & AC. We have had some issues and the Heating Specialist team was courteous and professional. They came in a timely manner, fixed the issue and recommended minor fixes to our system. Never tried to up sell on things we didn't need (I vetted through others) and were reasonable and competitive on price.

We liked them so much we had them put in an air scrubber and ozone on our furnace. Great product. We had a huge remodel/addition project on our house and they were the sub our contractor used. It was meant to be. Great service, nice crew and the owners Dave and Daniel showed true interest in our satisfaction. I can't stop recommending them to people!!

After an initial "heated" exchange (sorry I had to), I was able to discuss a concern we had with the owner of the business directly. His response was incredibly gracious and demonstrated a remarkable willingness to work with his customers. I definitely have renewed confidence in small business owners, particularly given that this one went out of his way to do the right thing for someone who had an issue.

While we do not have any ongoing concerns with our furnace, I am extremely appreciative of the experience with The Heating Specialist and will contact them for any future needs.

We had a great experience working with The Heating Specialist when replacing our old furnace and A/C. Our salesperson, Daniel presented us with a range of options that would best suit our needs, home size and budget. There was some issues about whether or not we could us our old A/C unit and in the end we opted for a newer energy efficient (quieter) model.

They were able to schedule the installation the following week and Daniel was great following up the day before to confirm that they were still on schedule to do the work. Morgan & Chris showed up on time, laid down plastic and drop cloths from my back door down to where the furnace was which I appreciated as I have carpet and the furnace is in a finished basement.

They were extremely pleasant and efficient. First explaining what they would be doing (part of the installation was to remove a vent from the chimney and reroute with new PVC pipe for more efficient air intake/out take) and letting me know along the way that everything was going well. After all was in place they walked me through all the important stuff like where the gas shut off valve is, how to use the new thermostat that was part of the package.

Their clean up was spotless, couldn't even tell they were there!! Morgan was quick to point out that since it is winter they can't properly test the A/C but that we will get a call from the office When temps get above 65 to schedule a time to come out to fine tune it. They also arrange all the permits and will contact us to schedule the city inspection that is required.

The furnace, which is a Lenox EL296V Gas, is so quiet I had to go downstairs to confirm it was on. I never realized how noisy our old one was!!! Can't wait to try the A/C as the old unit was so noisy you could sit out on our patio if it was on. I am very please with the service and would totally recommend them to others.

I proactively replaced a 100+ year old boiler with a 95% efficient direct vent boiler system. After getting a couple quotes, I ended up using The Heating Specialist and couldn't be happier. From the initial phone call to get an estimate, to the final inspection process, The Heating Specialist was great. David came out to the house for the initial estimate.

He was very personable and took the time to explained my options as well as make sure he understood our wants and needs. Once I confirmed we'd be using his company, the contract was signed and the installment dates were set around my scheduling needs. The actual instalment took about 7 full days. For this reason, I highly recommend replacing your boiler system proactively and not in the dead of winter when it craps out on you!

Our install was NOT lengthy because they worked slow. I personally under estimated the task at hand. During the install, there were anywhere from 3-6 guys working in my basement from 8:30 am to about 4:00 pm. Grant and his guys were hard workers, very polite, cleaned up every day, and answered all my question (no matter how dumb) as the install progressed.

When all was said and done I was left with a very clean and perfectly installed boiler system. My gas bill is also 1/3 of what it was last winter. I highly recommend The Heating Specialist!
