Thermostats

A programmable thermostat can save you money on your utility bill up to 33%, if used as directed. You set it up to adjust the temperature when you are away from home or asleep when you don't necessarily need optimum comfort and your HVAC equipment runs less. Plus, your heating or cooling comes back to a comfort level automatically when you come home or wake up. All Honeywell Programmable Thermostats carry the EPA EnergyStar rating and are designed to be very easy to use.

Zoning

You wouldn't dream of leaving the lights on in every room of your house when you are sleeping that would be a tremendous waste of energy. But that's what you do when you control your heating and cooling system with one thermostat. Let the professionals at JBS survey your home and recommend the zoning solution that will work best for you.

Why Zoning?

* Comfort zoning solves the problem of some rooms being too warm while other rooms may be to cold.
* Convenience No longer will you have to go to the hallway or the first floor to adjust the temperature for the bedroom.
* Conservation zoning can save on average 15% to 30% by only conditioning the occupied zones.

Well I should have written this review a couple years ago of how good JBS is. When we were looking for a new heating and air system we, like most people did a good amount of research and tried to find the best deal...IE price! I will tell you they were not the lowest price... but when buying a Ferrari you can't expect a Kia price...right? They did everything they promised and did it all to perfection.

We have had our new system for 3 years and still continue having them do regular maintenance. We had a problem with the blower in our unit and they came right out (during summer) and assessed the problem. They determined it was a manufacturers defect and promptly ordered and fixed it for us. This is the review I should have written about them before but was admittedly too lazy to do.

I gave them 5 stars but they now deserve 10! In september 2013 my 2 1/2 year old son was diagnosed with brain cancer. When we put in the system we added a great air filter to the unit for my wifes allergies. We had toyed with the idea of adding a UV light to kill viruses but after spending 11k on the whole system decided against it. I called Joaquin the owner and asked him for the best thing I could add to our system for when my son got home from his first round of chemo.

He told me he would look into it and call me back it 10 mins to let me know. Even though he didn't call back in 10 mins I think the 15 mins was acceptable especially since he said he already ordered the UV light system and it would be here in 2 days and would have it installed the day after it arrived. I didn't even have a chance to find out the price and he told me he was just doing it for us.

I told him that's not what I was looking for and he "said it didn't matter that's what they were doing for us". What else can you say about that other than remarkable!!! If you are considering a new system for you or anyone you know and you want a GREAT company look no further than JBS. The Ambrosius family can not thank them enough.

My AC unit was down, a technician coming to check and told a capacitor had to replace. After the work done, I got a bill that state the material is $410, and dignosis test is $79, total charged $489 for replacing a capacitor. The part supply price is on about $30, I call back to JBS asking why the capacitor is over charged, they simply said that is the price. The replacing a capacitor did not take 10 min and charges $489. What do you think?
