In 1972, Jim moved his family to Vero Beach. Jim Rott has been a specialist in Home Improvements in this area for over 47 years. Jim's son, Kevin, joined the business in 1984 and is a State Certified Building & Air Conditioning Contractor.This company is the elite of the field, and that is not bragging, it is fact! Employ a contractor who is licensed and well established in your area (local firms can be checked through The Chamber of Commerce). Ask to see a copy of the contractors 'Certificate of Insurance' for both workers compensation and general liability. Ask questions about anything that you do not understand.

A warranty doesn't always mean much in todays business climate. Neither does work ethic. Many companies seem to have the "party forever, work whenever " philosophy about business. Not exactly what you're going for when your air conditioning is out and it's 90-something and humid. Our unit had been replaced by Rott Home Improvement in 2019 but had developed an issue causing it to run continuously but not cool.
Nothing better than high utility bills and zero comfort. Prepared for the worst but hoping for the best, we called about warranty service. Our condenser coil had developed a small leak, causing our unit to fail. Rott HI got us by with a temporary fix over Memorial Day while the part was on order. Literally the day the temporary patch failed, the part was in and on the way to be install. Rott Home Improvement honored our parts and labor warranty fully and made the replacement without any charges. Great to see integrity and ethics still exist at some service providers. Too bad they seem to be so few and far between in Florida.

I have found that in the construction field that construction trades just don't care and don't have any pride in their work product. They also don't like to work or show up on time. Rott's workers produce an extremely nice product, they are on time, respectful and willing to help and accommodate the homeowner. So refreshing! I highly HIGHLY recommend this company!

We knew we needed a new unit installed, Jim came out and "patched" the old unit, knowing it would not last long. When we did need the new unit Mary Beth was so helpful and available for all my questions right away. They were able to quickly book a crane and install date. Jim and Chris came out and were so kind, professional, and on time. The install was painless, we hardly knew they were here. The price was very reasonable and included everything, no hidden fees. I highly recommend them. Great family company.
