I will never use another company. This is the second time they have come out, once about a couple years ago and again today. They were on time, very professional and very thorough. They have fixed the problem both times and my air conditioner is perfect again. Their staff is amazing and communicative. Lastly is this is an honest company.

UPDATE#2: LA Construction eventually did come out and do an extra application of sealant on the duct. I am still a bit bothered because the duct will require extra maintenance and vigilance to ensure that it doesn't end up leaking every time it rains, but LA Construction did cover the costs for the interior drywall repairs, which was extremely professional and went above and beyond.

They would have received their original 5-star rating if I never had to deal with the leak in the first place because overall the installation process was positive and the price was competitive, but the saga with the leaking duct puts them at 4-stars. UPDATE: Ever since LA Construction installed my AC unit, furnace, and duct work, there has been an active leak from one of the ducts they've installed every time it rains.

I've already called them twice (back in December and again the other week, the only times we've had significant rain): they were unable to repair it in December and haven't returned my calls or emails since the leak returned in March. I have a new roof surrounding this section of ducting, so the leak source is definitely from work done by LA Construction and it needs to be fixed! Previously: I had a great experience with LA Construction: we had an AC/Furnace installed in our 100 year old home and LA Construction got us priced, scheduled, and installed with little trouble. They coordinated all the inspection and permitting work for us and the system is working great.

Jun was a great technician. He installed my new smart, wi-fi enabled thermostat, cleaned the AC unit, and also gave me a new filter. Technician arrived promptly at scheduled date/time-actually early! He performed a thorough diagnostic of my system, and offered several repair options and very fair pricing. I opted to replace a sensor, which he didn't have on truck but returned quickly ( within 30 mins) and completed repair and unit servicing. He was clean, professional, and absolutely confident in his abilities!

I have used LA Construction/Air in the past, and would never consider even calling a competitor. These guys-anyone on the team are top notch, professional, and you immediately are assured you're not getting a bad deal or sub par craftsmen. Which removes any stress you may have had about allowing strangers into your dwelling! I am a technician by trade, and will (and have) give a 5 star endorsement to LA Construction/Air anytime.

I called as my contractor choice for the LADWP AC Optimization Program thinking they'd schedule in 3-5 days. They promptly scheduled SAME DAY and a really nice tech, Shawn came out on time. I was alerted via text the whole way. He was great, knowledgeable and took the time to explain the new Nest thermostat and app. Definitely added to my list of HVAC contractors, great experience all around.

Ive chosen this business under AC Optimization Program paid by city of Los Angeles. Professional and polite. Good experience. A tech came in a timely manner, checked AC fo freon, replaced a filter, and washed a condenser. I hoped they could replace my old switch, a technician said he can replace only a regular switch but not a smart one.

The AC representative, Jun Park was very professional. He asked questions & allowed me the courtesy of explaining my situation & my understanding of LA Constructions goals. LA Construction helped service my AC system as part of the LADWP program which also included the installation of a free Nest thermostat. Aris is a great technician who took care of everything that needed to, even without our asking. He explained clearly what needed to be clearly with our two air conditioning units. He also checked all duct vents and make sure they are in good working situation. He also installed Nest remote control and taught me how to set it up with Apps. We are happy for his help and hard work.

LA Construction was one of the approved contractors on the LADWP free AC Optimization list. After reading their Yelp reviews I made a call on Thursday. They called me back the same day to give me the next day (Friday) appointment. The technician Aris showed up on time, he knew what he was doing, finished the job and installed the Nest thermostat. At the end he made sure that AC and heater is working, all in less than 2 hours.

I was impressed with Jun's professionalism and he's patience to complete the job. He replaced my filter and then proceeded to clean my coils on my AC unit. And after that he replaced my thermostat with an energy efficient one. Great work from DWP and LA construction

Very happy with the service. DWP has a program where complete service of your air conditioner and heater are done, at no cost to the customer. They are so install a smart thermostat, also at no cost to the customer. The technician was wonderful and the office staff was very professional. Text messages were used to confirm appointment, Advise who the technician would be, and let you know when the job is completed.

Awesome service. Tech arrived right on time and did the work quickly and efficiently. I am still learning the components of my new nest. He inspected the air conditioning system and gave it a clean bill of health. How refreshing to get an honest assessment without any attempt at an inflated sales pitch. I couldn't be happier.

Dependable, Clean, and Reasonable. Leonard repaired and added ductwork to our addition 1 year ago and recently deep cleaned and repaired our central system. Each time Leonard arrived on time, worked efficiently, and was meticulously clean. I even checked the attic and found not a single scrap or debris left behind. Having dealt with many contractors, LA Construction is clearly worthy of a 5 Star rating.

They are capable and have excelled with service. On the last job, the work needed was not as extensive as initially estimated, and the price was reduced accordingly. I couldn't be happier and the company deserves the highest recommendation.
