Expect a bigger bill than you planned for. Insane high prices and surprise charges. Be sure you know before engaging. Buyer beware. I've warned you. They aren't on your side.

I would give zero stars if I could. I had a slow leak and was going to replace my a/c in July. Called Mabry, and they sent out a tech who had no business being placed in front of customers. Nor out there representing the company. After checking for a leak, one that required more coolant every four to six months, he returned the next day to do a survey for a new system.

While he was at my home the a/c stopped cooling. When I pressed him for the reason, he became agitated and questioned why I questioned his ability as a tech. I informed him because I hired him to fix by a/c, and he seemed to have done the exact opposite. He then proceeded to tell me that in order to find the leak in my system, he had to shoot pressurized Nitro through my hose to make the leak bigger, so he could find it.

I almost fell out in disbelief at what I was hearing! He basically told me he just broke my a/c! So I went from months of cooling to less than 24 hrs of coolant before the a/c stopped working. (And all on a Friday afternoon of Memorial Day weekend 2019.) A record year in heat. As I continued to explain that this was not acceptable, he became more agitated and eventually told me to call his supervisor and complain.

After calling Mabry and asking to speak with a manager, I have as of yet to receive a phone call back. It should be noted that prior to this incident Mabry was hounding me daily over the phone. I have since used CoolZone and have been extremely satisfied. The Mabry techs' complete lack of knowledge cost Mabry over $7K of which CoolZone got for replacing my unit.

Avoid this company at all costs. If I could give 0 Stars I would. After giving them thousands in business over the years their utter incompetence and lack of accountability is astounding: It is built into their company culture from the engineer to the Mabry owners. We had purchased multiple units from them and used them for service for years- We approached them about a job to cool a room with high end computer equipment that generated ALOT of heat.

The engineer refused to come visit the site after multiple requests by us the customers. He assured that he had the correct calculations to cool the room to which we insisted he come make a visit because the computer equipment was very hot and not just 6 laptops sitting in a room. He refused and installed a glorified window unit without doing the due diligence to visit the site to solve our problem.

We were left with a 4000$ bill for a system you can find online for a couple 100 bucks and a room that was not even slightly cooled. We told Mabry we did not want to pay the bill unless they solved the problem we hired them to solve was completed. After many threats from Mabry the engineer Ron FINALLY showed up to the site screaming, yelling, threatening, and had the audacity to blame me for the problem. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS! 4000$ poorer with no resolution. They costs themselves $$$$$$ of dollars in future business with us.

Several years ago Mabry Brothers took care of an issue with replacing our meter box and some sort of wires, working with LCEC. The salt beachside environment apparently corrodes these things. Have not had reason to call them for years but needed to yesterday. I had an emergency need for service with dimming lights, a burning smell and even a surge ruining a couple small appliances.

One of the firemen reminded me of Mabry Brothers name. The company who warrantees our appliances ( and recently electric and plumbing - although i had not needed it) could not get here before the night. I therefore called Mabry on this friday afternoon. Not only were they here within an hour, once Andre got here and inspected, he realized i needed LCEC. LCEC arrived at about 5 - with LCEC realizing we needed an electrician again. Mabry then sent Scott ( who is so excellent) back at night to work with LCEC - so we could have service over the weekend.

And of course- making it so we would not be living with worry and uncertainty. I will never forget how responsive they were today. The person answering the phone in the afternoon was great, the answering service after five was great. The two people they sent were amazing. It is a special company who will send people out on a friday afternoon and night- to someone who they have not heard from in years, who lives on an island ( albeit with a bridge) an hour away.

When you have an electrical issue involving the fire department you hope to find a company like this! Ill also be using them for some routine updates. If i could give them ten stars i would. Needless to say i am forgetting about the company I have had a useless service agreement with.

Mabry Brothers is a life saver literally. It was over 90 degrees at my house after my a.c. broke. Originally I called Air Experts of Sarasota who sent me a flyer in the mail regarding a warranty for my AC on the house I just purchased. Air Experts was a total scam they did not have a warranty on my unit they just try to get you to sign up for their service.

The tech didn't check my a.c. unit correctly because its located in the attic and he couldn't fit up there. He told me I had a hole in my coil, when I asked how did he know that he told me he could smell it when he stuck his head up in the attic. He advised that I needed a new AC unit he was going to take my 3 1/2 ton a.c. unit and sell me a 2 1/2 ton I may be a women but, am not stupid.

I was just super hot and trusted that the AC guy was leading me in the right direction, but my gut told me call another co. I realized Marby Brothers sticker was on the side of my unit so I called them. Long story short I got a second oppinion from Mary Brothers, Henery sent out some one to help me the same day. Turns out a fuse in my electrical box blew and that was all that needed replacing. Marby Brothers Saved me $4,200.

That Air Experts was trying to charge me. The tech Jose from Marby Brothers showed me that the pressure was fine in my unit and there was no hole in my coil. I highly recommend Marby Brothers to anyone who needs AC help and dosent know what company to trust. Henry at Marby Brothers is very helpful and will get you the help you need.

My second time using Mabry brothers electric, they show up on schedule, go right to work, and get the job done. Scott the electrician is a nice person, true professional, and leaves you satisfied with the work. Highly recommend, and would use them again.

I was very disappointed with the service from this company. I asked them to fix some ceiling fans on my lanai. Maybry decided to tie the fans into some other light fixtures on the lanai. Now you cannot use the fans without the lights on. I think the essence of a good business is how well the take care of problems. These guys blamed the problem on a prior electrician and made it seem like it was a great favor to me that they came out at all.

I would never use this company. While they responded to come out, they screwed up the job, and when I asked for them to deal. they did not want to be bothered to come and fix the problem.

Used this company at my new condo for about 10 years. Pretty simple, no issues. But when I hired them to service the house I purchased last year it turned into a nightmare. The evaporator coil failed. They told me it wasn't under warranty and that the system was 15 years old. Better to just replace the entire system for $3500+. That didn't pass the smell test.

I found documents from the seller. The system was 5 years old. The coil was warrantied. The company that did the new installation 5 years ago took care of the entire job for $600.00. The even showed me the date on the unit, clearly something the Mabry tech HAD to see unless they sent Stevie Wonder. All in all I think they tried to rip me off. I'm done. You should stay clear.

Not good service. Lots of unprofessional experience with this company over the years. My guess is the whole company is run by unprofessional ownership. There was only one tech I could count on and recently he messed up not replacing valves after he replaced coils on 2 of my units. Now I'm paying a new company $1200. to repair this oversight. I went weeks without AC several times when they couldn't get parts or techs to repair various problems over the years.

They send out young inexperienced techs who don't have a clue. They don't let you know when the guys are coming. Its just so unprofessional. It's a waist of money and time dealing with these people. I'll spend my $$ somewhere else.

Maybe good for new construction but forget them for service and follow up. They installed our unit 12 years ago. We kept under their service plan. Unit failed on Friday They have one tech for their entire area. We are still without AC Monday night. It wasn't until we notified them we were looking at other installers that they suddenly could replace our compressor.

Which was a third the price of a new unit. The new unit has a SEER rating of 17 vs old unit of 10 SEER. Mabry didn't even make an offer. So, $8,000.00 later we have what our research shows is a company with 65 techs on the week end available for service vs their one. You do the math.
