David McCoy started McCoy's Heating and Air, Inc. in 1981. David is a Jackson native who grew up in the West Jackson area. He went to work for a local plumbing contractor his senior year of high school on a part time basis and soon realized this was what he wanted to do for a living. He thought it was pretty cool crawling around under houses and fixing things, plus it paid well. After graduation he went to work for David Scarbough and he received "on the job training" to do electrical, plumbing and air conditioning work.

BEST Company EVER! We have to hire everything done and these people are a Godsend! Over the last 4yrs, we've had McCoy's install new heat/air system, new hot water heater, do bi-annual h/a checkups & maintenance, service our plumbing needs, and always, ALWAYS, with reliable, friendly, professional, competent service. AC went out. Came same day Fixed in under an hour the repair person was smart using logical trouble shooting skills He was professional and got straight to the problem and the fix. That's a rarity these days Very grateful I've been using this company for 27 years and the service has always been very good, but this was exceptional

My tech called in advance and advised that he was going to be enroute but he was going to stop by a convenience store. And he even offered to buy me something. Lol. Once at my residence, he was very polite and had a great personality. "Easy" (his preferred name), was very thorough and took his time explaining his work. I explained that my previous AC company suggested that I had a leak and wanted me to replace my Condenser.
After checking, Easy advised that he did not see any indication of a leak!. I was very satisfied with the services provided. Will definitely use for my future heating and cooling needs.

I've used different HVAC companies over the years and was always trying to find "a deal" or use someone who knows a guy to put in a new HVAC unit. Since I switched to McCoy's, the service has been consistent and professional. They installed a new unit this morning and were on time, professionally dressed and got everything done before lunch. Even the little details like painting the gas pipe so it wouldn't rust. Needless to say, I was very pleased.
No one likes having to put in a new unit but McCoy's makes you feel like you are getting your money's worth. This review was unsolicited and is reflective of my personal experience.

EZ was amazing! He was very polite and professional! He explained everything thoroughly and made sure he did his best to help us in any way he could! The folks at McCoy's are great! Even though supply chain issues caused a lengthy wait to receive the parts needed, they responded promptly once it came in. Even then, they found another issue that would cause my HVAC to fail again soon. They quickly responded with a new package unit at a decent price which was installed promptly and capably with a great deal 10 year deal on parts and labor. Thanks McCoy's!

Have used McCoy's since I moved to Jackson in 2014. Great quality and professional service. Just had them come out and do routine maintenance and tune up. Thomas was great, very professional and extremely knowledgeable. He also provided me with tips on how to save money on my utility bill with some simple solutions to my system that could improve the air flow in my house. Would highly recommend McCoy's to anyone.

I am a big fan of McCoy's. I'm a general contractor and I contacted McCoy'sto check out some gas line repairs at a vacant home my client had taken management of. They volunteered the info that they had worked on the house a few years ago and offered to dig into the issue under warranty. They have stayed on top of things, communicated with city inspector and municipality, and are now close to brining it to the finish line at no cost to my company or my client.
They obviously have high standards and stand behind their work. In an age of worsening quality and higher costs everywhere, the folks at McCoy's stand in a class of their own.

So impressed with this company. Called at 8am when they opened this morning after our ac unit took a turn for the worst last night. Got a repair window of 12p-5p. Right at 11:55a we got a call our repair man was 5 minutes away. Thirty minutes later after a quick look at our unit and one part replacement (that was luckily on hand in the service truck) and our ac is as good as new. So thankful for the quick service in this hot hot summer heat (and not having to buy a new unit!).
