Split-ductless air conditioning systems are gaining popularity in American homes. Ductless systems are also ideally suited to additions, where extension of existing ducts may be difficult or impractical. Ductless split-system air conditioners combine the zone control of window or through-the-wall units, with the whole-house cooling capabilities of central systems.
A thorough examination of system components including coils and contactors. Over time, coils may become dirt incrusted. Dirty coils cause a cooling system to work less efficiently. A unit with dirty coils uses more electricity, cools less effectively, and places undo stress on the compressor. Likewise, burned contactors compromise the efficiency of a cooling system and can cause damage to the compressor.
If you have a small area to cool in the summer - say, one or two rooms a room air conditioner may be a more economical choice than a central air conditioning unit. It will cost less initially and it will cost less to operate in the long run. Most room air conditioners sit in a window where they can exhaust warm air to the outside.

Metro Air Conditioning saved the day! I had been the unfortunate victim of a subpar AC company and after a costly upgrade to my system I was still having issues. The technician who came to service my AC. They made all my headaches and sweating disappear like magic. Greatful is not enough of a word to say how happy I was with their company.

They have unpaid shop drawing. They refused to pay for my services . They own me more than 2500$ . I call them ask to pay for my services, but everytime they tell me stories. Also I saw their instalation jobs. Terrible job. I have no idea how general contractors hire those guys.

I turned on my air the other day since it has finally begun to warm up outside, and found that it wasn't working correctly. I called Metro Air Conditioning and they came out right away to see what the problem was. The repairman was polite and found the problem quickly. The estimate I was given was very competitive, and the repairman was able to start work on the problem that day.
The repair was made quickly and I was able to turn on my air and escape the heat. I am very pleased with the service I received from Metro Air Conditioning and will definitely go to them for any of my future air conditioning needs!

My split-unit AC had been having problems. The fan was running but there wasn’t any cooling air coming out. No good in the summer!! I called MetroAirCool (based on my super’s recommendation) – and they were able to fit me in immediately – and resolved on the spot! While they were there, I showed them another issue (my condensate pump being too loud -- ) and they sent a proposal a few hours later to replace the pump – and fixed the issue a couple of days later!
Then I had another issue with the AC (completely unrelated to the prior two) – and they came/reviewed and resolved IMMEDIATELY! All I can say is WOW! They were the most courteous, reliable and efficient HVAC company I have ever worked with! I would highly recommend Metro Air Cool to anyone in need of AC service!! 5-stars!!
