Dave came in listened to the problem them properly addressed it and fixed it all in under 30 minutes. arrived earlier than quoted, called ahead of time to let me know he was going to be arriving early. excellent service. Dave was wonderful! He responded to my call right away and came out the same day to check my system, which was leaking water at the time. Our AC was not able to reach temperature so we called our home warranty company and they sent out a technician who incorrectly diagnosed our problem and the claim was denied. I called Dave from Metrocrest and he was able to come within 30 minutes and correctly diagnosed the problem and helped with a solution. Very honest and dependable company.

Dave is punctual and professional. Previous owner been using his services as well so it was nice talking to him about the history of the each units in the house. I would definitely recommend Dave.

I recently had an issue with my AC and called Dave with Metrocrest and he was able to come to my home right away. Before arriving, questions were asked to see if there was something that homeowner could fix, i.e. filter change, to see if service call was even necessary---very trustworthy and not out to make a fast buck. After arriving he quickly diagnosed the problem and made the necessary repairs. I have used Metrocrest in the past and will definitely use them again. Very professional, efficient and friendly service.

We have used Metrocrest Air Conditioning and Heating services for many years. Dave is always responsive and we feel he provides us with an honest assessment of the issue. He recently replaced the air ducts in our home (which is almost 40 years old). The job was completed timely and no mess afterwards. We trust Dave completely with our air conditioning / heating needs.

WOW! Experienced and top notch customer service! I have used Metrocrest AC for the last 20 years and this review is well overdue. I have never dealt with another service provider of any sort who has the total package like Dave with Metrocrest AC. I called him the first time in the dead heat of summertime in the middle of a 100+ degree week and he was able to squeeze me in last minute.

He came out and replaced a motor capacitor for me on my outside unit after I had another company come out and tell me I needed a whole new unit and at the very least, a new fan motor. Dave saved me hundreds of dollars on that first trip and we've used him ever since. Here it is the dead heat of summer once again (20 years later) and Dave still showed up the same day and got us fixed up!

There are not many companies you can call where the owner is the one who shows up every time to work on your issues. Especially an owner that provides multiple options and detailed analysis of the problems without trying to up-sell you unnecessary equipment. Dave is the man and continues to impress after all these years. Kudos Dave for the honest and dependable company that you've created. I only wish other service companies could use your template for excellent customer service! Keep doing what you're doing!

Came home from the road on a Saturday morning. AC was out and it was Memorial Day weekend. Called Metrocrest and Dave was here within an hour. Had the AC up and running an hour later. Have used him for several years. An old house and old system and Metrocrest has been outstanding every time. Always explains the problem and estimated cost and never leaves until its fixed.

Dave has provided heat and air conditioning maintenance and repair services for us since around 2007 at four different locations. He is prompt to take phone calls and respond to phone messages or texts. He is reliable, keeping his appointments and finishing the service calls. Dave's professional demeanor is a plus. He is pleasant, to the point and communicates clearly.

He knows how to solve problems. He doesn't do just the minimum to get by, and will point out other issues he discovers when servicing equipment. However, he is quick to tell you when you do not need to have services performed also. It is the right balance of honest business transactions that builds trust between a customer and a service provider. We recommend him to our family and friends without hesitation.

Dave serviced our two AC systems today everything was good to go for the summer. We have used Dave for many years. He replaced one AC unit and a new gas furnace in the past. We are very pleased with his work. He is honest and trustworthy. We plan to use him to replace our second AC next year.

Not sure about the bad reviews on here. We dealt with Dave at metrocrest on a recommendation from a close friend. We couldn't have been more pleased. Our unit is about 13 years old and the fan went on it. Dave came out charged us 600 to replace the fan and the capacitor including the parts. I firmly believe had we called another company they wouldn't have fixed it rather they would have tried to force us to buy a new unit. Dave is an old-timer probably one of the few that are left who believe in honesty and fairness. He has been in a/c and heating for more then 40 years. If your in a jam call Dave he is your man.

Okay, I have a lot of experience with heat and air guys. but this one takes the cake! He came out on a Wednesday because our unit needed blown out and wasn't cooling. He charged a $120 service call. blew out unit, has us turn OFF unit for 4 hours (because the coils were a little iced up). and NEVER comes back to check unit! We TURN UNIT BACK ON. swelter for two days. can't reach him on Friday. he comes back Saturday morning. charges us another $120 for service call. Then gives us his brilliant "diagnosis". needs Coolant - has a leak! Well. we figured that one out $240 ago! DO NOT Recommend!

I have an older air conditioning unit, which I know. The unit has a leak, so I called the company listed on the unit for service (just bought the house in March). The man showed up, and the only solution he would offer, was to buy a whole new unit. He estimated the cost to be around $10,000. He then filled the unit with some more r 22 freon. He charged $100.00 a pound.

Because the leak wasn't fixed, I had to have another company, Dana Hilliard Heating and Air come look at my unit. They repaired my leak, added some more r22 freon at $35/pound, and even cleaned the outside unit. The conclusion that I have reached based on these two experiences, is that Metrocrest grossly overcharged me for sub-par service, and did not have the customer's best interest in mind. I would NEVER recommend or use this company again. I'm writing this review so that other people do not get screwed over too.

I have known about Metrocrest for several years as they serviced the company I used to work for. A few years ago the replaced my AC fan motor. This time they replaced my AC disconnect which fried the night before. Prompt curious service and not too expensive. Dave is on time and fair.
