Mor Air installed a new mini-split, performed dismantlement of my old HVAC system and installed a new HVAC system. I'm satisfied with a quality of their work and level of service provided. Both mini-split installation and new HVAC system installation with final permits took about a month from start to completion. I used their company for maintenance of my old HVAC system about a year ago and decided to go with them for this project. Mario, Joshua, George, Mario and their crew were proactive in communication, did a job exactly as we agreed upon, were very respectful of the property, left our house clean every day after they were done with work.

The payment schedule was laid out clearly to me before we agreed to start work on the project. They were kind enough to connect me with a great roofer whom I used for a minor roof repair project later on. The friendly and knowledgeable reps inspected my HVAC system which was working sluggishly. They fixed a water drain that was going into the sump pump and a button that needed to be pushed to activate the system. It works a little better now, but the thermostat still needs to be turned quite higher to make it warm in the house.

I am a maintenance manager at a small cell phone store in north Hollywood and when the heating stopped working I needed to get someone here right away to fix it. I found MOR AIR Inc on a Google search and was happy to have my call answered right away by a nice lady on the phone and got scheduled for that same day. I called around 8am and had someone here by 2pm to fix the issue.

Not only did he fix the issue but I also learned how to change the filter on my own. The technician that came out showed me where the filter was located and showed me how to replace it so I can avoid future problems due to clogged filters since we do run the unit all day. Thanks again to the tech and the nice lady on the phone. I will definitely be calling again for our regular maintenance.

We used Mor Air to install a new AC unit and repair ducts for a home that had a unit dating back several decades. The staff was incredibly polite, responsive, and timely. Mario and Jeff were great! I needed to service an HVAC after a house purchase. Mario was the only person, that took his time to estimate work thoroughly, including return vents replacement and a custom gas line strapping job that needed to be done. He was upfront about the cost and didn't try to oversell me on the improvements I didn't need. Mario and Jeff showed up on time and completed the job with high quality. Mario and his team SAVED us! Our AC broke suddenly and we had no idea what was wrong. We live in a condominium complex and it can be very difficult to understand, first of all, how to even access our AC unit, and second of all, to determine the problem on such a big industrial AC. Mario got here right on time this morning and identified the issue in less than 10 minutes.

We needed to replace our blower motor. He was quick and efficient in getting the part for us and we now have beautiful, cold blowing air. Total repair time was under two hours. Amazing. Highly recommend.

I used Mor Air again today for a problem with our heating system, and I was sufficiently impressed to leave a good review. I've been using them for at least a couple years now, and they are an excellent company. They are always prompt with either answering the phone or getting back to me soon, and I never have to wait too long for an appointment slot.

Their service is always professional, with the technicians donning shoe coverings before entering our house, and, during this time of COVID, they were masked when approaching the house and doing their work. They were able to diagnose and replace a faulty part, with a fair price for the part and their work. I have no hesitation in recommending them, and, when in need, I will be using them again.

Awesome experience. The heater/AC intake in our unit was subpar. Based on recommendations, we called Mor Air for a (non-emergency) appointment: quick phone response. Two days later, Mario showed up, removed gunk from the intake unit, and now we have great airflow again. Great response time, super professional (Mario wore gloves, shoe covers, and a mask), and very friendly. Highly recommend Mor Air for your Heating and AC needs.

This is the second time that Mario has come to my rescue. My central heating broke down in the middle of a cold stretch. I called the office and Amy scheduled Mario to come out an hour later. Mario arrived on time and broke the news that a motor needed to be ordered. While it's an expensive part, I knew to trust that Mario would give me the best price possible - his rates are much lower than others and he charges what he tells you during the estimate. Mario and his assistant, Jesus, are awesome.

Once again, Mario to the rescue! As promised in my last review, I'll definitely always call Mario at Mor Air for any heating/cooling needs in any home. This time I'm in a new place and the heating unit had a major malfunction. I called the office and Amy was able to schedule Mario to come out that very day to assess the problem and plan the repair.

This repair required us to order an expensive part. Mario gave me the best possible pricing and fit me in the schedule for my only day off. As soon as the part came in, Mario and his assistant, Jesus, showed up on time to do the tricky repair without complaint. Mario is very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. It's such a relief to feel safe and trust the people you let into your home during a time of need.

Our heater has not been working right since last year. This year, it just got worse. Taking about 48 to 72 hours before we could get it to come on. I called Mor Air and asked for an opinion. They came the next day and took a look at the unit. They explained everything to us, our unit was about 25 years old. We decided to replace it. They came and took measurements and had to take the unit out.

This was Friday. Mario supplied us with 2 space heaters at no cost for the weekend. They came back on Monday and successfully installed the unit. These are hard-working employees. They wore face masks the whole time since this is the time of COVID. And whenever they came into the house, they put own their shoe coverings. After everything was installed, Mario came in and made sure that both the heater and air conditioning were working properly.

They even checked all of our vents to make sure that they got up to the right temperature. Mario made some minor adjustments to ensure that everything was working right. Everyone that we dealt with was very professional and polite. I would definitely keep Mor Air on my on-call list.

Mario and his crew did an excellent job completely re-doing our HVAC system. We replaced two 30+ year old rooftop package units (AC and heat), installed new ductwork (not an up-sale, necessary), 2 return registers that at one time housed 1970's massive electronic air filtration units - so the returns were not able to use appropriate size filters, etc. - this required patching and painting that was done beautifully, and replaced 2 thermostats (with ones I purchased).

I am not an "easy" customer, but fair. I ask a lot of questions, do a lot of research and demand excellence and honesty. I "interviewed" and got quotes from companies that were bigger (and slicker) than MorAir, but it was an easy choice. Mario wasn't the least expensive, somewhere in the middle, but he clearly knows his stuff, always took my calls or returned my multi-question laden emails.

His crew are EMPLOYEES, please take that in, you would be surprised (or maybe not) to find out how many HVAC contractors do not have Workers Comp or General Liability insurance and hence, no employees. I was not going to let anyone use a crane near my home removing and replacing several hundred pound units without the proper insurance. You can search reviews up and down on YELP re: HVAC contractors and never see this issue raised or commented on - can't for the life of me figure that out.

MorAir installed a ductless mini-split system in my home and I'm extremely happy with the results! The whole process from the estimate/inspection to the installation was hassle free, which was important to me. Mario provided me with a few estimates for different options and already had the electrician fee applied. I contacted another HVAC installer for an estimate and they expected the electrical to be in place.

That was a huge inconvenience for me to find an electrician, so I went with MorAir. I was able to pay online via credit card which was convenient. They have a trusted electrician to handle that aspect (which I later hired for some other electrical work). Overall great experience! I now gained a couple of contacts for quality HVAC and electrical services.

I was so impressed by Mario at Mor Air Inc. our A/C stopped working at 9 PM last night and I really needed someone to come out first thing in the morning, as I have animals that can't be in high temperatures. Mario called me back at 9:30 PM and said he could come between 9 - 11 AM. He got here at 9:30 and fixed the issue within minutes! Highly recommend!

I called the company after checking BBB to make sure they were accredited. Mor Air was polite and professional from the very beginning. The Tech Mario was on time and explained what they would be doing. When he needed to come into the house to check the thermostat he covered his shoes with booties and of course he wore a mask the entire time speaking with me. Mario and his partner took extra care when looking into the crawl space not to place the ladder on the hanging clothes.

I was most impressed after checking the unit and replacing the filters, Mario explained the needed repairs he noticed. I ask for pictures and he sent them the same day. I emailed back that I was confused, I didn't understand and Mario redid the pictures pointing out the areas and explaining the repairs thoroughly. This was very helpful. He was very honest and said my unit would be okay through the summer. I plan to have them service my unit annually and would highly recommend Mor Air Inc.

Mario saved the day for us today. Our AC started blowing warm air last night when the temperature was about 103 at our house. We have two small children, so no AC was going to be a problem. I messaged Mario and he responded almost immediately and scheduled us for the next day. He arrived on time and fixed our problem within about 20 minutes. He also did not take advantage of our predicament, which he could have easily done. We will be returning to MorAir for all of our air conditioning needs and recommending them at every opportunity. Amazing service! They did everything to give me quick appointment the same day, which I needed desperately, because it is an emergency! Then they quickly diagnosed the problem, they quickly fixed it, at affordable price! Doesn't get better then that! I recommend them very highly!

My A/C decided to go out on me after only 2 years since its last service (I guess getting it checked annually is a thing after all). The weather was heating up and I didn't want to be stuck without A/C. The kicker is, we're in the middle of a pandemic and my boyfriend and I are in the higher risk category for the virus. On top of that, my mother is living with me during the stay-at-home period. Needless to say, I didn't want any stranger entering my home.

The company offered by my home warranty couldn't guarantee their technician could properly assess and fix my issue without entering my home, even though my A/C unit is in my backyard and previous techs didn't need to enter the home at all. I contacted Mor Air and let them know of my situation, and Mario was VERY accommodating. He came by, went straight to my backyard, and through a closed window, we communicated and diagnosed the problem, a bad capacitor.

He replaced it, and even hosed down my A/C condenser before he left. He had all his PPE equipment on and was very courteous and understanding of my concerns. I paid him via CC through an invoice he texted to me and we were done! I highly recommend Mor Air if you need to service your A/C, but have any concerns during this uncertain time of quarantine.

Mor Air replaced and relocated our system 3 years ago. We get annual tuneups, and they recently came by, totally professional, wore masks, gloves, covered all workspaces. The office is immediately responsive to emails and calls. Online billing is easy. Price is right.

Great service! I hired Mor Air to remove the HVAC while my roof was redone. Mario worked very well with the roofers and he coordinated everything. They took care of everything and the HVAC was put back on with a new custom made curve and plenum.

Called Mor-Air after finding their yelp page and reading the positive reviews, glad I did. Amy answered my call and asked me what i was experiencing with our AC unit. I explained to her that it had simply shut off after some regular use on a hot day, we were able to set an appointment the very next day in the morning, the tech arrived on time and was very courteous and friendly he spent about 30 mins trouble-shooting the unit and upon completion he informed me i had a "shorted contractor switch" he replaced the switch in under an hour and got my AC running sooner that I had anticipated, honestly the whole experience couldnt have gone any smoother, I will definetly be contacting them for future maintenance on my unit.

The old gravity heater in my house was not turning on as it always did when the weather turned colder. I was referred to Mor Air through HomeAdvisor. They were able to accommodate my work schedule to come to my house in the evening. Mario arrived right when he said he would (he had called ahead with an ETA) and diagnosed the problem quickly. Since the fix involved ordering parts, he had to schedule a return visit the next day to make the repairs.

He arrived right on time once again, made the repairs, and installed a new simple thermostat that even I could understand. I am so thrilled to have a warm house again; it feels like Home! I was very impressed by Mario and cannot say enough about his professionalism and patience with me while showing me how to use the new thermostat. Everything went exactly according to plan and he left the area neat and clean as if he hadn't been there. Thank you, Mario, for making my house warm again. I have guest arriving this afternoon and last night all of a sudden my furnace stopped working. I got in touch with them through HomeAdvisor last night and they call me this morning at 8:00, we're here by 10 and diagnosed the problem in 10 minutes and finished by 11:00. They quoted me $85 to come and diagnose the problem over the phone, then once they diagnosed it they quoted me $120 total for the entire job. Mario and Jesse were friendly & professional. I'll definitely call them again if I need heating/air conditioner work.
