During a routine maintenance check our experienced technicians will do the following.
Check for correct amount of refrigerant
Test for refrigerant leaks using a leak detector
Check for and seal duct leakage in central systems
Measure airflow through the evaporator coil
Verify the correct electric control sequence and make sure that the heating system and cooling system cannot operate simultaneously (this sounds crazy but happens all the time!)
Inspect electric terminals, clean and tighten connections, and apply a non-conductive coating if necessary
Oil motors and check belts for tightness and wear
Check the accuracy of the thermostat.

If I could give them 10 stars I would! I called them yesterday expecting that it would be a week before anyone could come but he came the same night. I was previously told that our A/C unit needed over $800 worth of work to fix the upstairs dampers that weren't working but he fixed the issue in under 2 hours and only charged me $85 for the service call. He was honest, very fairly priced and saved me over $800. I can't say enough good things about this company!

My unit stopped cooling this summer during July. Brian came out and troubleshot the problem, turned out to be a leak in the coil on the unit under the house. Brian was able to order and pick up the new coil and install it the next morning. The guys from NC Climate Control got us cooled back down and my equipment has been running great ever since!

I had a great experience with NC Climate Control. I sent Brian a message late last night indicating we had an issue with our AC unit and he fixed the unit this morning. That is great service! Brian is a honest person and offers excellent service at a very fair price. We will always use NC Climate control for our heating and cooling needs. Steven

Brian was able to order and pick up the new coil and install it the next morning. The guys from NC Climate Control got us cooled back down and my equipment has been running great ever since!
