I don't feel like I had an honest tech at my home. I was charged for something that I don't think I needed. Not trustworthy. Overpriced.

If I could give 0 starts I would. They lie and scam to get you to spend more money and never fix the original issue you call about. Not to mention cancelling appointments last minute when you arrange to take off work. Save yourself the Frustration and use someone else.

Beware Precision Plumbing! I had them come out to do an estimate on garbage disposal removal, not replacement, just removal. They wouldn't give me a estimate over the phone (nor would Applewood Plumbing) but said they would wave the service call fee to have someone come give the estimate. Just before Precision came out I also got another estimate over the phone from an independent plumber which was $190. (I also watched a youtube on disposal removal just so I knew if pricing was fair.) The plumber Precision sent said it would cost $950 to remove!

When I asked him how he justified the cost, he said he doesn't set the pricing, Precision does. When I grilled him on cost of parts and length of time to do the job, (which I already knew from youtube) he agreed that Precision was way overcharging. He said I should get a new disposal put in (which I didn't want) since it would cost the same amount!

I showed him the door and since the other indy plumber wasn't available. I ended up getting a handyman to do the job for $140. Shame on Precision Plumbing! I would give less than 1 star but this site won't let me.

Wow totally was taken advantage of by this company. My blower in my HVAC system failed and I called them out. I was charged for a new blower, new capacitor and the installation $1100. I was initially fine with that because my house was 15 years old. Whatever. 5 years later the blower failed again so I tried to call them back and they wouldn't even tell me if my part was warrantied without coming out on a service call and charging me $59. THEN I got irritated and called another pluming company and they came out they said not ONLY was the wrong blower in there but they never changed my capacitor out because the date on the capacitor was the original date my house was built! Omg i just dropped another $600 to have my AC fixed again. Never ever ever again

Be aware. We have been working with Precision Plumbing for about 5 years. They installed one new AC unit and we were on a $ 29.00 per month service contract for our house and garage building. Last winter we needed a new boiler for our heating system. They made us two offers, one for $22k and the second for $27k plus extra expenses. We found another company, which installed the whole system for $6.5k.

We kept our contract with Precision for servicing for our whole heating and cooling systems (2), but they now made it very clear, that they are not interested in servicing our heating system, since we did not buy the equipment from them. Not making much sense, since we have lot of equipment here, which was not bought from them. We informed Precision Plumbing today, that we prefer to work with another company for the future. A not satisfied customer.

Our heat went down, at first frost, and they, as were all plumbers and HVAC people, I am sure were, and they came ASAP. A wonderful, considerate, knowledgeable and honest gentleman, Zach Doucet, came over and took care of the issue. and is now working like new; and they were very fair price wise. considering the work done and that it was first frost. Zach is excellent, and I highly recommend him, and Precision. They are my 'go to' plumbing, HVAC people. Thank you Zach and Precision.

The first time I used this company, I had absolutely no complaints. Reasonable price, nice guys, etc. They replaced a light fixture in my kitchen that took the guys over 4-5 hours to do, charging me $362.21 which I thought was reasonable. I called them out to help with a garage outlet that they had checked the first trip out. The entire 'job' took 20 minutes and basically was not a fix but simply disconnecting a wire so it wouldn't continue to trip the breaker.

I asked for an invoice at the time of service, was told I would receive one later. Over a month later, I received an invoice for $190.00. I asked for additional details to why this cost so much and continued to ask for each month when I received a past due invoice. I finally paid $85 which was adequate for a trip charge that took 20 minutes. 6 months after the initial service, I was finally given the explanation that they have a two hour minimum charge. I paid the fee in full. However, I was threatened with collections for 20 minutes of work. My advice - get a cost upfront, and an invoice at time of service.

I would give this company less than one star if there was such an option. This company installed a new furnace at my residence back in May, 2021. The actual installation went very well and the installers were fantastic. However, once the work was completed and trying to deal with them post installation has been a complete nightmare. We have never received any paperwork on the new furnace.

We have no proof that we had purchased the furnace and no warranty information. Over the past three months, I have called them five times requesting paperwork. I even reached out to the President & CEO of the company and have never heard back. If you plan on using Precision Plumbing & Heating for any reason, you might seriously consider looking at other options first.

I made an appointment to have a toilet replaced. The company cancelled the appointment the morning of scheduled service after I had driven 1.5 hours to meet the plumber at my daughter's apartment. We re-scheduled the appointment for 4 days later. The plumber was supposed to call me and let me know about the options for replacing the toilet. Instead, he simply repaired the toilet, without contacting me, and I was charged $489 for a service I did not request.

After speaking to the Service Manager, the payment was refunded; however, I cannot recommend this company for further service. I still need to replace the toilet, because it is 30 years old and needs to be replaced, and I will be looking for another company to do the work.

Precision Plumbing repaired a leak I had in my basement. The quality of work performed was top-notch and the plumber, David, was courteous and polite. The reason I'm giving them 1 star is because they charged me $1,089 for only two hours of work and about $100 in replacement parts, which was incredibly over-priced. I feel taken advantage of, no doubt.

The going rate for plumbers in Boulder is no more than $150 per hour. Precision Plumbing charged me $450 per hour! They say you learn your lesson the fastest when you lose money. This experience with Precision Plumbing is a prime example of that. I should have asked them what the hourly rate was before committing to the bid. Instead, I assumed a bid in excess of $1,000 meant the project would require at least 5-7 labor hours, based on the going rate. Well, you know what they say about making assumptions. Long story short: I will not be using Precision Plumbing again and I will not recommending them to friends, family or my neighborhood.

Brian from Precision plumbing fixed 2 leaks in a plumbing drainage pipe in my crawl space on December 2nd, 2019. The service provider was courteous and efficient and fixed both leaks. However, the repair materials would have cost less than $30.00 at Home Depot, and I was charged $2151.00 for a job that took somewhere between 3 to 4 hours. If you do the math that is between $500 and $700 per hour, which I think is pretty outrageous for a relative plumbing repair.

I am a single senior who was somewhat desperate to get a simple leak fixed, and so I agreed to the estimate. Now, feeling this business is predatory, I feel I was taken advantage of, since by hiring a local plumber I could have saved $1500.00. Tom H.

Joe saved the day and was kind as could be. Super thorough and found problems other Precision team members missed. Update 4 years later Don't ever, ever buy an hvac unit from Precision. The sales people don't know what they are selling (including making promises that they couldn't keep) and the service team has no clue how to service said unit. I'm beside myself for paying almost 20k for an hvac system that was supposed to be top of the line, but is so fussy it's an absolute nightmare. Don't even get me started about the $100 filters that need to be replaced monthly that we can only get from Precision.

We have been in contact with management for years now and we are still unbelievably disappointed by poor response time, and lack of general willingness to make this expensive mess right. Do yourself a favor, find another company to take your money, Precision won't give you any satisfaction.

. I Purchased a house one month ago and have a boiler for heating. I was having problems with one out of 3 thermostats. My daughter put in new thermostats that Home Depot helped us pick out for boilers. Charles O came out said they look good got the thermostat that wasn't working up and running. He told me of a plan they have for $100 that they'll come out anytime to fix your problems for a whole year.

I did not purchase it because I also was told I needed a new boiler so I planned on getting the new boiler. So the next day all the thermostats are stuck on 80°.I had to call them back pay the hundred dollars. Charles O came out and said I have to get all new thermostats. I had to call them back pay the hundred dollars. Charles O came out and said I have to get all new thermostats and left.

Two days ago he said they look fine they're running great. So what happened? They were working just fine except the one that wasn't working when I made my first call. So what am I supposed to do? So So what am I supposed to do? I calledI called And ask them just to bring out two cheap thermostats to get me through until I get a new boiler. Charles O was busy so they sent out Jason.

So the service call was supposed to be free and I thought maybe $50 each thermostat. Almost $750. I left two messages with the owner Andrea and never got a phone call back. They are crooks

This is part two of my Dec 2 incensed review of this organization. On Dec 3rd a couriered letter was sent to the owner explaining my complaint along with a bill for my time, time I took away from earning income while I sat in my home all day waiting for an a furnace appt scheduled several weeks out, one in which I was kicked to the curb for a customer on a premiere plan.

As of 8 days later, this owner has not responded or acknowledged my communication in any capacity, not even an apology. So folks you have been warned.this is how this place operates. Schedule at your own risk. Because when it is your turn it is a roll of the dice if they will show up, don't apologize or try to make restitution for failed service.

This company is either dishonest or incompetent. Our landlords used them for years, paying $20 a month for some customer loyalty program that included yearly system checks and a "discount" on services. The last time they were here I asked them about our air filter and they said "You have a closed system and there is no air filter to change." I am ignorant about HVAC systems so I didn't question them further.

I started getting a bad feeling about them when they charged my landlord $800 to install a kitchen faucet. Just install. My landlord bought the equipment. I was like, dang that seems like a lot, especially since they are supposed to be getting a discount?! Then our AC stopped working this summer and we called them to come look at it. They said we would need a full system replacement and it would cost upwards of $6000.

So I called another company for a second opinion. And guess what they found?! The non-existent air filter! Who knows when the last time it had been changed! Needless to say I will never, ever use Precision Plumbing for any reason and you shouldn't either.

I got a $2,600 quote to replace a 50gal gas water heater, estimating 4hrs of work. With the cost of the new water heater, that was $500/hr. I got a second quote from another local company and they replaced my 50gal water heater in 3hrs for $1,100. Couldn't be happier. I understand that companies need to be profitable to stay in business, and I don't mind paying for good work. But charging $500/hr seems disingenuous. Bottom Line: Shop around and find a company that has great references and a great price.

I had a water heater that was old and needed replacing. I called Precision and the next day Rocco came out and gave me an estimate. My house was built in 1956 and there were several things that needed to be addressed to being things up to code. Rocco explained what these things were and why I needed them. He returned the very next day for installation.

Absolutely awesome! The installation took the better part of the day and when done he did a thorough clean up and I had plenty of hot water that night! I would heartily recommend Precision for plumbing problems.

I called Precision to have them look for a water leak in our home. Because this is part of an insurance claim, the insurance company has asked to have the work order broken out into charges to discover and pin point the leak and actual repair charges once the source of the leak has been identified. Well I was told by the person on the phone that they can not breakout the invoice!

I was shocked, how can a company that has been in business for 30 years not able to figure out a way to do that. I'm sure this is not unique as far as requests go! I'm hoping their response has everything to do with the person answering the phone and not management. I do not recommend them to anyone that has an insurance claim!

$7700 bid to replace a $1495 water tank? We had a Triangle Tube Phase III Advanced Thermal 60 gallon tank model #HL-60 fail. Precision sent someone out to look at it. They confirmed it needs a replacement. Then left a proposal for $7700. The proposal had no itemization for parts vs. labor. When I called, they said they just quote the job and do not itemize.

Quick research online. The tank they were recommending is a Superstor Ultra Stainless tank model number SSU-60. The retail cost of the tank is $1495. So that's $6105 in labor to replace a tank? No wonder they don't want to itemize. Beware of this operation. Its a scam.

Just got off the phone with Noel. Wow, these guys are dense. Me: hi I need a plumber to come out to replace a sink/garbage disposer. I already bought the unit at Home Depot. Noel: it's $29 for plumber to come out and give quote, the $29 can be put towards service if you decide to go forward. Me: Can't you just tell me what it cost for the simple job requested. It's not a mystery what needs to be done. Can't you call your plumber to ask what he wants to charge to replace a disposal unit. It's a very simple job Noel: what's your address. blah blah blah. plumber will come out and give you a quote and will be charged the $29. me: CLICK! Just told you I don't want to meet for a quote and be charged a fee. No wonder you guys are three stars only on yelp

Worker are neat and polite, however follow through is another story. We recently had Precision Plumbing of boulder out to install new furnace, central air, and sewer clean outs in Park Hill so we can sell our home. Spent over 20k for work. Now the follow through: It took three rounds with the city to get furnace to pass final inspection which I had to coordinate about a week and a half over all.

They had to come out twice for major ground settling for the sewer. Work looked great the first time but after two repair trips we have uneven and broken flag stone that I guess I will have to do if I want it done right. Think before you use them.

Terrible service and really high rates. I used these guys for a few jobs but actually got a comparable quote from a local plumber and they were overcharging me by 200% I will never use them again! Please get a comparable quote before using.
