Jeff (one of the service team) is extremely knowledgeable and delivers exceptional quality. We now ask for him specifically for the unit service checks as he treats our home like it is his and ensure all things are running 100% and we know how to properly care for our units.

He likely saved us thousands in a new unit by teaching us some prevention techniques during a remodel where dust and debris tend to clog a system. Tom and Robert, two of the leaders we have met as we had a recent issue that needed their attention and support, came through in spades. They were thoughtful, consultative and moved with a sense of urgency to support.

Something we are struggling seeing as our town is booming with home repair need! I learned Fox recently purchased Precision and clearly it elevated Precision to another level given the three above are just to name a few from Fox. I rarely write reviews, but this team deserves both the recognition and additional business that would come from a positive review. They are phenomenal! As a homeowner in Austin, TX, there is no other AC company I would want on my side. You will have us as a customer for life!

My AC went out and they were able to get a technician out faster than any company. Billy, the technician, was very nice. He explained things to me in simple terms and as he went he updated me on what he was doing and also the things he ruled out and potential causes. I will definitely use them again. Our air went out & Precision was the only company that could send someone out in less than 24 hours & made scheduling easy! Brandon was our service person. He called prior to arrival & arrived right on time! He was very nice & knowledgeable! He had our AC blowing cold in no time at all! Brandon was professional & conscientious about our Covid safety protection even during this time when most no longer wear mask!

He did not try to upsell us & completely checked that our air conditioner didn't have any other hidden problems. Our repair ended up being minor & we were only charged the service fee! He was in & out in record time leaving us in cool comfort! I highly recommend him & Precision Heating & Air!

Ramiro was professional, efficient, and knowledgeable. He had my problem diagnosed and fixed in a matter of minutes. He explained things so that I could understand them, and made suggestions on how to better maintain my unit and extend it's life. Definitely price out other service providers before choosing Precision. My unit needed a simple condenser fan motor replacement. The technician said it was under warranty and the whole service took under an hour, yet it came out to nearly $600. Not sure what the warranty actually covered because Precision won't return my calls, but that feels very full-price considering the part runs for $100-$200. Their receipt is not itemized so I'm not really sure what I actually paid for and what was "covered under warranty".

Our A/C went out and after 2 days it was hitting 89 degrees inside the house. The person who came to check out A/C looked around telling us there was a problem with the capacitor. He showed us the new capacitor he planned to install (that cost $60 on Amazon) and told us it would cost $412 to replace. This was his 15% discount if we went with the $199 a year service plan where they come out twice a year (this house call was one of those two times) and if not it would be $484.70.

He also tried selling us a "Hard Start Kit" for $417 (costs $13 on Amazon), again only 15% off if we get the annual subscription. I'd understand if it's $400 dollars in labor, but why double the labor cost for just another piece of equipment that is just as easy to install. My wife and I talked it through and just did not have the money to pay that much so we had to refuse service and paid the $49 service fee for coming out.

He then goes and re-installs our old capacitor, that maybe took 2 minutes to do and went on his way. We ended up buying the capacitor on Amazon and found a 3 minute YouTube video explaining how to replace it ourselves. It's pretty crazy how much someone can charge when there's what would be considered an emergency at the house with the temperature being so high.

We tried calling the office to see if they can price check to see if this was normal, but they did not have pricing as it's a per customer basis. The staff at the office did an excellent job getting me scheduled for a next day appointment so I must give credit where credit is due. Read RedTigerPro's post below for a very similar experience so I know it's not just us.

Would definitely recommend! Ac unit breaks down in the hottest day if the year. Needed fast service which they delivered on, SAME DAY! Daniel checked out my unit and was quick to determine the problem. He explained why the capacitor needed replacement and tried to first find out if I was still under warranty. After changing the unit Daniel walked me through what he did and what he was looking for to ensure nothing else needed replacing. AC is back and working 100%. Will be my 1st call if I ever have any issues with my ac in the future.

Eric our Tech was awesome! When nobody could service the residence on a Sunday because of availability, Precision sent out a great Tech and had the ac fixed in under 4 hours from first call. Eric was early and made sure he took care of everything. He was very professional, explained the options and fixed the issues fast! We were up and cooling in 100 degree day within 20 minutes.

He was honest about the service and how long it would last and offered multiple options and pricing to allow the best decision to be made. Although, dealing with issues is an never fun, the experience with Eric was great. I don't often comment about service but today Eric did such a good job I had to acknowledge him and Precision.

We worked with Geoff and he was super professional and friendly, right from the start when he made a trip to our house even though we originally missed his visit. Geoff not only quickly diagnosed our issue, he took the time to explain to us exactly what was going on and made short work of what was wrong. He was super quick and effective and just an all around very pleasant guy who helped our family out of a jam on the first hot week in Austin! Thank you Geoff, you made a difference! We had two men from Precision heating and cooling come out to evaluate our furnace and air conditioner, and diagnose some air flow problems. They charged a $99 fee to do diagnostics on my system, reasonable I think. They were professional, timely, and gracious in explaining everything they saw and recommended. We appreciated their help and will mostly likely use their services to install a new unit.

A very thorough check of my heating /cooling system was performed as part of my customer service program. Precision Heating is a first class business Services: Heating maintenance, AC maintenance, HVAC maintenance

We have been customers of Precision since February of 2020. We are on their yearly maintenance plan. Precision has worked on our A/C eleven times in less than two years. As of now, it is not working properly. It has not worked properly for more than a few months since they began working on it. It is not old and was as reliable as any A/C prior to Precision.

We've paid thousands of dollars to Precision in less than two years. We don't prefer complaining online. Rather, we prefer to make the vendor understand that we are unhappy and work with them to rectify the problem. We tried that for over a year. They are always prompt, courteous and professional. Our A/C still doesn't work. The latest episode is proving too much for us to remain quiet.

Last week I received their email about our twice-yearly checkup. The A/C was working fine. I scheduled the checkup as recommended. The technician arrived Thursday and completed his checkup, saying that everything looked ok. When he left, the house began to heat up. It did not cool down. The same technician came back Saturday. He told us he had mistakenly let coolant escape when he was checking the pressure.

He added more coolant and left. The A/C still doesn't cool. I called again. The new technician arrived Monday afternoon and said the compressor was frozen. He shut down the whole unit and said someone will call me to schedule a time to come out once more. He could not give me a day. So here we sit, both working from home, with no A/C at all - and this time, it was working perfectly before they touched it. Those are just the facts, with no unqualified opinion whatsoever. If I hear back from them, I'll update this review.

Precision Heating & Air was a fabulous company to call in for help. They: a) juggled around their technician schedule on a weekend to move up my appointment when my AC was no longer keeping temp b) showed up slightly early to the appointment c) explained everything in detail, replacing a blown capacitor and topping off my coolant d) left me with an AC that could hold temp and had the appropriate temp drop The technician was more than happy to explain the technicalities too rather than brushing me off. Also, the technician legitimately enjoyed my toddler coming in showing him random things which was really sweet.

Our neighbor's AC repairman was working next door and he saw me and mentioned to me that my AC was very noisy on start up and that I should probably get in touch with our AC company and report it. He noticed it was installed in 2018 and thought if there was an issue it would still be under warranty. I called for service and was given the date and chose a morning appointment time which meant sometime between 8-12.

She said the repairman would contact us between 8-12 and that it would be 45 minutes from the time of the phone call until he arrived. When it got to be 11:30 and I had not heard from anyone I called the company. She checked the schedule and said we were the next appointment. At 1:30 I had still not received a phone call so I again called the company.

She checked the schedule and said Oh it looks like he skipped you for some reason, I'll call him to contact you next. He did finally call about 2:15 and showed up at 3:00. I walked him over to the AC and told him what the other AC guy had told me. He checked a couple of things and said nothing was wrong, the noise on start up was not too loud and everything looked fine.

That was it and he was gone within 5 minutes. It cost $99.00 to have him come to the house after waiting all day, only to have him tell me everything was ok. He said he would check in with us over the weekend to make sure it was working fine, it's Tuesday and I never heard from him.

I had an issue with my AC system not blowing cold air. I had tried just about everything suggested to troubleshoot the issue, including checking the condensation drain. The tech came to service it and turns out it was the capacitor that runs the outdoor compressor, which was not turning on. He quoted $430 to replace it. He didn't give me much time to think and immediately wanted an answer to proceed.

Naturally I thought this part was expensive and required replacement. So I asked him about the warranty and decided to proceed. It literally took him 2 minutes to replace. By the way, I asked him to check the freon charge levels and he said that the readings would not be right if he checked in on a rainy day. Which was BS, but I was trying to be nice and let it go. Later, after further review, I found the part to be only $20(even less for businesses like this that buy in bulk).

Even with an up-charge of 100% with labor, should only cost $100 or a max of $200(to be generous) for a 5 minute job. Imagine if the parts were more expensive and labor was more complex. For companies that claim to be honest and fair to customers, this is very disappointing to say the least. He didn't even spend the time to properly screw in the cover for the capacitor.

Nor did he check the charge for the freon in the system and brushed my request away with a false excuse. I am very disappointed in services like this taking advantage of customers. Do your due diligence and know the things that could go wrong before bringing these folks into your home. $430 for a $20 part and 15 minutes of total time at my house! At least he could have taken the time to check out the entire system and see if everything else is in order. The reason he didn't want to is so that they could charge for another visit. Live and learn. Beware of all these services. They prey on homeowners that are not aware.

Today, on a holiday, we arrived home from out of town to find our air conditioner not working and a whole lot of water below it. I called Precision Heating and Air and Ryan came out to our house within 20 minutes! 20 minutes! We were so surprised that we could find any help today. We are beyond thrilled with Ryan. Thank you! Update: The sales rep was able to get an appointment for first thing this morning and made the arrangements well after office hours last night. So, that effort is appreciated. Also, the install took about two hours this morning, and the team has already left. No issues from that either. In short, the issue was fully resolved within 24 hours. In addition, the rep felt sincere by his tone and efforts to correct the mistake, and due to those efforts, I believe the experience overall has been a positive one. Original Issue: They were supposed to replace my AC this morning, but no one ever showed or called to update me.

Our AC went out last night. We called Precision first thing this morning, and a technician was at our house that afternoon. Chris was fantastic: both knowledgeable and personable. He diagnosed the problem quickly but stuck around long enough to make sure he was right and that everything was working perfectly again. I would use Precision again and heartily recommend them.

I've been using Precision for at least 7 years now. They've always been prompt, courteous, trustworthy and professional. And the techs are polite and friendly. We found the company when our A/C went out. It was a Sunday in the middle of summer and they had someone out almost immediately. We've used them ever since. Had two a/c units replaced by them and don't have a single complaint. Highly recommend.

I Highly Recommend using Precision Heating and Air. I had a leak back in June and they quickly repaired it for me. I also knew that my 15 year old unit was on it's last leg. Sure enough it lasted 2 months and went down. I called Troy at Precision Heating & Air and he was out the next day and he thoroughly inspected my HVAC unit and helped me to determine my needs.

He was dead on with that. They were out in a few days to install my new Carrier unit. The installers were Thomas & Jeffrey. They did and awesome job and cleaned up really well when finished. Ask for Troy, he's the expert to help with your A/C and Heating needs. I do know that I can depend on Precision Heating and Air and so should you!

New system install that took 20 hours over two hot days. Installers Shawn and Alex were exceptional, courteous, professional hard workers. Joe, who analyzed our needs and provided the perfect solution, was extremely knowledgeable and patient in his explanations. Kudos also to supervisor Todd who was available every step of the way to make sure things went smoothly, even came out on Saturday to tweak a few issues. Overall great experience.

I had black mold in my AC coil and it was making my kids and myself sick. Shane and Jose came and not only did a fantastic job cleaning it but also found another source and eliminated it. Shane went above and beyond, and provided excellent service. I highly recommend this company.

My husband and I had problems with our heater. The gentlemen from Precision came out and took care of it . They were professional and friendly. They order the part for our heater unit and had it completely fix within two days. I would highly recommend this company to anyone. Thank you Precision, Ray and Bob.

This is the best place ever! The technicians are amazing at what they do and the people in the office are the sweetest people in the world.

My a/c had not been working well for a while now, and this summer it got worse, having to spend a night in the hospital for heat exhaustion. Chris was the first tech out and found my unit to be in bad shape. They said they would look for a used unit to replace mine and today Joel and Thomas installed it and it's cooling my house down as we speak! Highly recommend! Professional, courteous, experienced people that deserve your business. Kudos to the office staff as well. Calls were handed professionally and timely call backs. These people are heroes in my eyes and life savers! THANK YOU!!!!
