Ray Heating & Ac

We paid $9,000 to have our house piped for propane. We had a freestanding propane stove that Dave recommended installed as well as a hot water heater and line for our gas BBQ and also a line for a gas cooking range. We are overall pleased with the hot water heater and the lines but the freestanding stove he recommended (& we went with), has not functioned properly from the very beginning.

It was being repaired every week to 3 weeks for the first 5 or 6 months we had it. And it was BRAND NEW! It finally seemed ok.we didn't use it at all thru summer and had it serviced in October '21 and had him repair once or twice thru winter and here we are in March and it's on the fritz again. It's been 17 months of frustration with this stove and I called Dave on Sunday 3/13, spoke with him directly, he said he'd call Monday 3/14 and it's Friday the 18th and I haven't heard from him at all. It's really starting to wear on us.

Nice enough guy and we like Nick also but we are not happy with this freestanding stove and don't want to deal with the problem anymore. I'm pretty sure Dave doesn't want to deal with it either.

David Lybecker is a true professional. Our Water heater went out after 15 years of service. David picked up the unit for us and installed it in record time. He showed up at the time he said he would, he searched out options for the results we wanted, and then he completed the job quickly and went above what we thought we wanted and provided exactly what we needed. If you want the best job, David Lybecker is the person to hire.

While I had good initial interactions with Dave (owner), when I had issues with some unexpected invoice items and quality issues with some of the work, I was met with an email response that was completely unprofessional. He lacked understanding and was belittling and condescending. I would not recommend their service.

We had a great experience with Ray Heating. Our initial quote was received quickly and was very detailed, communication was excellent and price was extremely fair. Our previous heating unit was uniquely sized and ancient, none of this was an issue at all. They were respectful of our time, home, and curious pets. We would definitely recommend Ray Heating and will be doing business with them again!
