Had 4 other companies here but none were able to fix unit. Kevin figured out quickly and fixed when parts came in. Would highly recommend.

Needed a HVAC upgrade this summer as our 2-year old grandson is living with us now. Had a good experience with T.J. Eckardt in the past, so called them again. Had a really good experience with Harry, who is the VP of sales. He was knowledgeable and fairly accountable. The office at Eckardt is obnoxious, slow and seemed more interested in proving they "were right" (when they were wrong) then offering customer service.

Actually despite Harry's excellent service, wanted to give the deal to Trane but they couldn't get equipment and that was largely based on the service received from the office. The install was flawless and overall it was average to good --but here is where it gets exciting. Referred my 80-year old neighbor who has chronic health conditions.

Her HVAC unit failed and they sent out a tech (believe his name was "Ben". Well Ben told her that the system absolutely had suffered a power surge and needed to be replaced. This was an issue for her as money is incredibly tight for her. Then "Harry" was not available for 3 weeks or a month. I heard about this crap and recommended she contact Finner & Conner in West Berlin.

They came out, replaced a transformer in the unit and got her HVAC working again. Total cost $400.00. Eckhardt money -- well that was money thrown down the drain. If you use Eckhardt, know there will be good and bad and well perhaps they are just another scum bag contractor based on how they treated my neighbor.

I usually like this place and call them for all my HVAC needs which is why I am unsure why the treatment I am receiving is below expectation. I've noticed this place must be under new management and are potentially scamming customers into purchasing new units. I've had a technician come out to my home in which he insisted I get a new HVAC which only had a bad breaker.

I was quoted a little under $10000. Then, my family member had an issue with her unit and I recommended TJ, they came out and basically told her to think about replacing her unit. There appears to be a trend here. However, there is a loan that is available to the customers from SJ Gas in which I applied, but TJ is very slow or is not responding to my inquiries to complete the application and other needed procedures.

I was even sent an incorrect proposal. Additionally, I have a home warranty in which TJ is basically resisting assistance on that as well. We have been out of AC since July, and I am unsure if this treatment is because I do not have the funds readily available or TJ no longer wants to honor the quote.

I just wanted everyone to know how very pleased we are with the job Chris, Brian, and Ryan did placing the gas lines. They also removed old oil heater, water heater and air conditioner and replaced with new gas heater, water heater, air conditioner, gas dryer and stove. There workmanship and knowledge are truly AMAZING. They were very careful removing the old stuff not to damage anything as well as cleaned up when they were finished.

Thank you Chris for putting all my fears of having gas put in the house to rest, by explaining how all the safety valves and shut offs work, you have exceptional workmanship, skill and knowledge. We cant thank you all enough for a job well done.

Jeff made the service call 8/16/19. Great employee, knowledgeable and professional. As a test on my own accord, I had another company offer the same services and to quote a price on all the current problems I have regarding furnace and AC. The quote was $2600.00! I paid $214.00 with TJ.

Great customer service and they knew what they were talking about. Even with an entirely new system (Heat and air ) they still installed it pretty quick.

They didn't know anything about the very standard nest thermostat. It then took him 1.5 hours to put my old thermostat back on. I could have done this easy. He let my $1500 cat outside and never told me. He also told me I didn't need a filter in my unit and threw it out. These people are trash DO NOT use them.

This is my uncles business and he recently passed away and he was a great business owner and deserved everything he worked for!

Tom & his crew are always, always there for their customers. I have nothing but great praise for his company

Awesome Emergency Service. I called and they came right away to fix our furnace. We were up and running within 30 minutes of their arrival. Great customer care and service. I highly recommend this company.
