Over the years, the two of them have witnessed countless customers getting the short end of the stick by those who are looking to make a fast buck. That's not the case with them! Matt and Ryan agree that every customer needs 3 fundamental things in order to have a satisfying experience Great Products, Great Service, & Great Prices! They realize that people have to receive all three of those things, or they'll think twice about calling them back. That's the foundation that Matt and Ryan have built their company on and that's exactly what you can expect from them.

Products & Services

A new HVAC system that has been properly installed can last about 10-15 years without a major repair as long as it’s installed and maintained properly. When you are talking about new equipment that is going to cost you thousands of dollars to purchase, you want to make sure the job is done right the first time.

Total Trans4mation did a great job repairing my heating unit. I wasn't in the best mood because I was so cold. They understood my need to get it fixed as fast as possible, and wow it got fixed really fast! I thought that the heating technician would try to sell me on a new unit, but it was only a small part that was bad. Thanks Guys!

Customer Testimonials

Total Trans4mation has amazing customer service! Gary Allen went above and beyond my expectations this service go-round and served our family with a heart of integrity, education and good ole hard work ethic. We love Ryan and his team!

Totally satisfied with their service, skill, and professionalism. My first contact with them was back in 2013, when they were called to service a very old system (circa 1998) that failed during the heat of summer. They were able to get it going again for a very reasonable price, but I knew that a system that old had a limited remaining life expectancy. The company was so nice to work with that I planned to call them when the time came for a new system. By fall of 2016, before the heating season arrived, I thought it would be a good idea to get my antique system checked out, and when the technician showed me just how bad things had become, I knew it was replacement time if I did not want to chance a catastrophic failure during the winter. I never considered buying from anyone else. I knew I could trust TotalTrans4mation to deal with me in complete honesty: they would recommend the best system for my house and my needs, not trying to sell me the most profitable system for them. They told me my electric bills would go down with the new unit, and they were absolutely correct. I am comfortable both summer and winter, and the money I've saved has more than paid for the annual service plan I bought that gives me a spring and fall system check-up. Today's visit to inspect and maintain the system was another example of their focus on customer service. The technician invited me to watch him while he performed the tests, explaining what he was doing, why, and what the results meant. If I had a question, he answered it fully. It is a rare pleasure today to find a company that holds to such high standards in the work they do and the way they treat customers.

Gary went out of his way to get us a part to fix our hot water heater. He drove through rush hour traffic to Nashville for the part and stayed late to finish the repair so we would have hot water.

We were very impressed with our experience with Total Trans4mation. The service technician, Mitchell, was very knowledgeable and provided excellent service and care of our unit. We also had a great experience with Adam when we set up the appointment. We plan to continue using their services from this point on due to the level of professionalism and quality of work that was completed.

Good pricing and excellent service! They got my new unit and ductwork installed in one day. We're very happy with everything.

Ryan and his team are top notch! They have installed 2 new systems for us and each unit is much quieter and much more efficient than our old units... we saw our summer electric bills nearly cut in half. Highly recommend using Total Trans4mation -- honest, upfront transparent pricing, and will respect you and your time!

They did a great job repairing our HVAC without upselling. I was very pleased with how professional and knowledgeable they were. I really appreciated their commitment to solving the problem and all work was done at a fair and upfront price, no surprises with the bill. This is exactly the kind of business that has my trust when I'm looking for professional work done at a fair price.

I've had homes from the Rockies to the Mississippi River, and I have experienced multiple HVAC personnel. These folks are reliable (they say they will call and they do), punctual (arrived when they said they would) and cost effective (cost of each service discussed BEFORE work was done). Thanks Adam and Shawn for getting me cool in a timely manner. Great company and I'll never use anyone else.

From Our Website

Total Trans4mation is a full-service heating, air conditioning, plumbing, gas and electrical contractor that is located in Murfreesboro, TN.We provide quality service to homeowners and businesses in Murfreesboro, Smyrna, Franklin, Leapers Fork and surrounding areas. At Total Trans4mation, we are extremely proud of the positive feedback and excellent reputation that we have received within the Rutherford County and Williamson County areas. We have an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau, a 5 star rating with Google and nothing but great reviews onAngie's List and Facebook.

Total Trans4mation Heating and Air Conditioning Inc. was founded by Ryan Kennedy in June of 2011. Ryan is happily married to his wife Brandi and has 3 children (Sean, Jaden and Reagan). Ryan was born on August 22, 1973 and has lived in the Nashville and Murfreesboro area ever since. Ryan was raised by his father Col. Gerald Kennedy and his mother Diane Kennedy who are both proud graduates of David Lipscomb University. Together they provided Ryan and his younger brother Brandon with a solid Christian foundation which they claim had a huge impact in how they were raised.

At Total Trans4mation, we believe in offering you the exact same product that we would install on our own personal homes, which we do! While it's true that there are a handful of reliable brands for you to choose from, there aren't many brand names that can say they are not only American-made but also come with a powerful 10-year parts AND 10-year limited labor warranty. Several years ago, we made the decision to start carrying the 100+ year old York brand not just because of the incredible American engineering and workmanship that goes into its development, but also because it allows us the ability to offer our customers a reliable form of insurance that will be there for them within the first 10 years of their purchase.

Did you know that over 85% of the ac repair and service calls we run could have been noticed or prevented with the purchase of a preventative maintenance plan? Preventative maintenance will not only save you money in repairs and efficiency, it will also help lower monthly utility expenses during peak seasons. Probably the best and most popular reason for maintenance is the fact that no one likes last minute surprises, especially the type where you come home or wake up to a house that's extremely uncomfortable.

In Tennessee, there are four primary types of HVAC systems that arecommonlyfound in residential applications. The difference is, two of those units solely rely on electricity for heating and the other two rely on gas and electricity. In some rare cases, you will find homes in Tennessee with a single stage electric heating system which is basically electric heating without the added benefit of a heat pump. We will explain the difference between the two in a minute. For now, let's start out learning the difference between a packaged system and a split system.

Total Trans4mation did an install of a new system, and it is the cleanest work I've ever seen. Everything is in it's place, all the vents are perfect, the area around the unit is so clean you can eat off the floor. I've never seen an HVAC company put forth the effort to make everything so perfect. I happily give them my highest recommendation! Our unit went out during the freeze this past winter in Murfreesboro one evening around 10pm. I was reluctant to call Ryan, but did anyway because we have two small children and it was about 10 degrees below freezing.

In the Murfreesboro and Middle Tennessee area, there are certainly plenty of houses with heat pump units and there's a very good reason why. Although gas does heat an environment faster than anything, it also uses the most energy. Because Tennessee doesn't have a lot of heavy winters, an electric heat pump is a great alternative because it can provide just enough heat to keep you satisfied most of the year. Like a refrigerator, heat pumps use electricity to remove heat from a cool environment and send it to a warm one, making the cool space cooler and the warm space warmer.

If you find yourself without hot water and you are in need of someone to come to your home or business and take a look at it, we have a great team of professionals in place that can quickly identify your problem and of course repair it where possible. Our philosophy at Total Trans4mation is to always treat people in the same manner that we prefer to be treated, which means recommending a repair instead of a replacement if we feel that a repair is going to save you the most money. None of our trained professionals work on commission and they are not trained or encouraged to "sell" but rather to repair your existing water heater in the event it stops working.
