I had the best service by far they came out at 11:00 o'clock at night to fix my elderly father's air and they actually fixed his old unit instead of trying to sell me one and gave me a 1y warranty on the labor nobody I called would do that.so if u have been CON like me make WAY for Yearwood air

Put in a request through Angi. Mr. Bill called right away. He then had his tech call to set up a time to come out. Should have been by the next afternoon but ended up being a week later! So after an hour or more, he quoted me a $700 repair on a 3 yr. old system.hmmmm! Things just didn't sound right but he was coming to do repairs the next day. He never showed up and Mr.

Bill wanted to make things right so he called Terry Williams who also has an HVAC business. Terry and his associate came out at time scheduled and found the problem, fixed it and was done in close to an hour or so! When I asked what I owed, Terry said Bill was paying him because he wanted to make things right. I thought well how nice! NOT! About 20 minutes later I get a call wanting payment from Bill in the amount of $225 with the $85 service call fee comes to $310 total.

I thought well, I'm going to let Terry know that Bill wasn't making anything right after all. Terry then let me know that he only charged $150 total to Bill. Soooo NEVER USE THIS COMPANY.USE Terry Williams Heating & Air instead. I don't mind paying for work done but charging double for a job you couldn't and didn't do is just wrong!

Mr. Yearwood and his assistant were quick to respond to my call and were professional. I didn't want to pay overtime hours for the issue with our heater, but was told it was $85 for service call and estimate and they came at 5:30pm. They proceeded to explain it could be one of two issues after looking at it for a few minutes- board or flame sensor as the unit was short cycling.

After a few more minutes outside getting his meter, they decided it was just the flame sensor that needed to be cleaned and the high limit sensor and proceeded to do these things in about 15-20 minutes. I finally learned the price of this visit when the bill was being written up. $165 to clean the flame sensor (brand new part is $10-20, but just cleaned it from what was said) and I assume they replaced the high limit switch (again $10-20 for part).

Those two items were $375 on top of the $85 visit charge. I'm glad it wasn't the control board as those range from $150-350 and I'm not sure what that would have cost me in the end. I'm not sure what the cost of heating repair is these days, but thought I would share my experience and let others judge for themselves if this seems fair.

Very friendly and they were able to come out to fix our A/C the same day I called. The technician was friendly and transparent about what he was doing and what the issues were. He fixed the problem easily and was prepared with the parts he needed. He was also kind enough to explain some ways to help prevent the same issue in the future. Would definitely use them again.

I've used Mr. Yearwood since I moved into this house. Initially I called him because he is based out of Collierville also. He responds promptly to requests for service. The tech that came out recently (Mike) was different than the one I had dealt with before (John), but a very nice and thorough guy. I will continue to use this company for the foreseeable future.

Coupons are designed to entice new customers. This company uses vague wording that the average citizen doesn't use. So, instead of allowing me to use the coupon on their website, I was told it didn't apply to the service I needed. Your company could have honored the coupon and gained a new customer. Instead, now I'm telling people not to call you at all! I don't have time or patience for this.

We needed our gas fireplace repaired and came across Yearwood Heating and Air. Things were kinda of rocky being October/November and everyone in the Memphis area is needing the fireplaces serviced for winter but Bill and John worked with us to get it fixed. Bill would keep in contact with us and made sure that he kept us in the loop regarding when they would be out. John is a true asset to this company.

I don't think I have seen anyone as dedicated to making sure that everything was repaired properly. Plus he has a tremendous work ethic. If you should need someone to work on your fireplace keep these folks in mind. Do yourself a favor and do it before the cold weather hits as they get very busy. It's a lesson well learned for me. My hat is off to them for their hard work and making sure that we were taken care of.

I just moved to the Moscow area, knowing that I was far away from anything. When both my units went out, I was referred to the Yearwood Team for servicing and repairs. Mr. John and Mr. Garry came out of there way twice to make sure the new units were running smoothly. Service after sale is a great customer-retention strategy! I will definitely be recommending them! Out of all of the companies I called today, Yearwood Heating And Air was the only that answered their phone. And they were at my house within 30 minutes after I called them. Thank you, Bill Yearwood now me and my 2 month old daughter are cool again on such a hot day. I will recommend them to everyone I know and meet. They have excellent services techs and their prices are more than fair.

I used these guys a few times and didn't solve the problem each visits and won't recommend them to anybody's.

Update: I did, in fact, receive a nickel in the mail, in an anonymous envelope.

Great service! Our downstairs unit went out, I saw Mr Yearwood in the Kroger parking lot and told him about it, this was Memorial Day by the way, he came over that afternoon, unheard of. We needed a new unit, 20 years old, he got us through the day and was here the next day with a new unit. We ended up replacing our upstairs unit as well and they were here early and worked until complete both times. Good prices on equipment and unmatched service, we highly recommend Yearwood Heating/AC

Yearwood Heating and Air provided good, timely service at a reasonable price. I have used Yearwood on a couple of occasions, and the quote was always accurate. I will tell friends and family to contact them for Heating and Air service.

We first had contact with this company when we had a home warranty and our air conditioner failed in July. We were told the warranty company could not get us service for two weeks and the temperatures were then in the 100's. Called several other companies and the only one who showed up that day was Yearwood. He got us going again and running and the charge was unbelievably reasonable.

Over the next two years the unit again failed regularly in July and again Yearwood quickly nursed it back to life. We finally decided to replace this 30 year old unit and sought bids from several companies. One even promised us a free furnace. Yearwood came through with the best price and even including the cost of a new furnace was far less than the free furnace deal.

His people installed the new system and it works well and has not failed for 3 years a win win for us. We still get to see Bill and his great staff at least once a year as they come to check and make sure our system is still at its peak performance. If anyone should ask me I would recommend this company without reservation. Try them you'll love em.

If there is something you don't understand he will explain it in a different way and help you understand. Very professional and what they do and it pays off with 20+ years of experience. Prices are normal for what they're doing. Yes it's expensive but I have heard horror stories of people who go with the cheapest lowest prices and then they have to pay even more.
