You could say that James Lane's first sale was the toughest deal he'd ever close. After all, the customer was his wife, Elizabeth. The year was 1957, and James was giving serious thought to leaving his employer and launching his own heating and air conditioning company. Elizabeth, whose primary job was caring for the couple's three young children, all under the age of 7, was understandably skeptical.

The electricity we need for our business is produced by a 4,000 square foot solar ray panel. In fact, we produce more than enough renewable energy for our business so the extra energy is sent back to the local power plant, enough for 6 homes. Our technicians use laptops eliminating the need for any paper forms such as invoices, receipts, order forms etc.

James Lane beat the other bid, and their estimator Rob took the time to complete the bid on site and was willing to answer any questions and concerns. The other company spent about five minutes and e-mailed me a vague quote with no follow up.
