I can't thank Shane and his two technicians enough for the work they did. Shane came out earlier in the year and gave us different options for what we could afford to do at that time. Basically we had a leak in the coils and we could refill the system to see how long it would last, or replace the system. We chose the first knowing that it may only last a few months but it allowed my wife and I to prepare for the additional cost and also allow us to shop around.
We found out very quickly that not only could Affordable A/C get us the system we wanted earlier than anyone else in the area, but they gave us the best price. Shane stood by the quote that he gave us months ago unlike others who gave us "their best price", but these other companies wanted us to call them before we chose anyone else to see if they could possible discount it.
Basically we felt that the others were no being upfront and honest like Affordable A/C. They installed our complete system before our house even got warm. Their technicians were not only professional, but also very thorough when it came to cleaning everything they removed. If you are reading this don't waste time and give Affordable A/C a call. Thanks again for everything.

Summary: Excellent company providing quality work at a reasonable prices. Very Satisfied. We had an ac installed by Affordable AC & Heating by Shane in Corpus Christi at the end of June 2021. I usually let a couple of weeks go by before I review a big purchase to make sure there are no issues or problems. 2 weeks have passed. A nearby relative had both her inside and outside units replaced by Shane about a month earlier.
I checked out the work, looking at both units and it was a clean and neat installation. No insulation, wire strippings or other junk that contractors sometimes leave behind. Things that needed wrapping or insulating were done neatly and cleanly. About once a week for four weeks I checked with my relative to ask how her system was functioning. The answer was always very positive.cooling well and working great! So, in June I called to have Affordable look at an outside unit I had been told needed replacing from another company.
It did ok except when outside temps got about 95 - then it could not keep up. Shane, the owner showed up. He did a system check on both our upstairs and downstairs systems. He agreed that it might be time to replace the one outside unit, but did not push a sale. He came up with a well-priced high efficiency unit that was compatible with the 18 month old blower unit for that system. Installation was the following day.
Clean and neat and over 2 weeks in, the system still works great. Conclusion: I will continue to call Affordable AC & Heating by Shane for problems, and I will have them do annual or semi-annual checkups and maintenance on our system.

This company came out and did a superior job installing a whole new ac unit. They were very respectful, professional, and it took them no time to get the job done. Amazing customer service and empathy for my Mom's situation regarding her AC. Steve was so kind, respectful and genuine. Christina was truly a wonderful bright light in a rather dark situation and dispatched Steve who showed up before I could even get to Mom's place. She even called personally to check on my Mom after Steve got finished. Another company wanted to overcharge her and treated her so unkind.
