I called Cool Kids for a second opinion for heat and A/C unit replacement for a business, and I am very glad I did.
JJ and team did an amazing job. They came next day and I received the quote about an hour after they left. I got a fair price (much better than my other quote), but they also were willing to do the complete job (including removal/replacement of the ceiling grid and tiles which my current company refused to do), plus they were willing to do the job overnight so we could avoid an interruption to our business.
This was no small job - we replaced both 5-ton units (again, overnight!).
Our team is very happy with the new air, the modern equipment, and the thermostats that work from our phones.

They fixed my AC as quickly as possible. Looked up parts to make they were covered under warranty. They went above and beyond to get us taken care of at a price we could afford. Excellent service and excellent value! JJ and Darin are the best!
Update 11/20/23 I notified JJ around 6pm yesterday that my sink was leaking and they had it fixed by 2:30 today. I cant say enough great things about these guys! I was worried because I cant host and cook Thanksgiving dinner with a broken sink. Prompt service with a smile, that leaves you smiling and doesnt break the bank!

Today started off cold outside and inside of my house!! The heater was on but the thermostat read 60!!!
I hopped on Google and searched for contractors near me, Cool Kids AC and Heat popped up and after reading their reviews I was excited and convinced this was the company for me and my family!
I called and was not disappointed with the professionalism on the other end ! I spoke with a woman and she was patient and kind, she set me up with a technician who arrived on time and didnt leave until the problem was solved.
The invoice was sent after about in hour of work and it was very affordable! My husband and I are grateful for this company and look forward to a much warmer morning tomorrow and everyday after !

Cool Kids was recommended by my neighbors. They came out for an estimate on what I thought was a return vent issue, but there didn't end up being one. Instead, they went above and beyond to find there was a clogged pipe where water was building up from my AC unit (lots of lint, calcification, etc.). They cleared it out, no charge. Would recommend them and will be calling them back when we need an actual repair.

Our AC stopped working at 4:00 PM on a Friday of a holiday weekend. Called Cool Guys they were out within an hour and it only took t them 20 minutes to diagnose and repair our system. We really appreciate the fact they they came out so fast and had it completed just as fast. Great service and really appreciate the professionalism. Saved our weekend for sure!! That Texas heat increases fast in a house with no AC!

I was very impressed by the quick service. I call Cool Kids at around 7pm and they arrived quickly to get my unit working. During the visit, I was describing some long-standing issues I had with my AC. Of the 4 different companies I have had look at my unit over the past 5 years, JJ is the only one who noticed that my compressor wasn't hooked up properly. It's honestly made a huge difference in how my house cools. Thanks!

Cool Kids was fantastic to work with today. He came out same day and was super easy to schedule all via text. Originally scheduled to be here at 4pm and texted ahead of time and asked if he could come 30 minutes early so that was a great start! Our downstairs AC stopped blowing cold and once he took some readings of the coolant and saw the construction work he knew exactly what happened.
It turns out that our contractors replacing siding to our house accidentally put a nail through our copper refrigerant line going up in the wall to the attic. He was super easy to work with and explained everything. He stayed out and worked with the contractor get into the right spot and found & fixed the hole, and refilled the unit. He also went super above and beyond to fix/improve our other hvac for upstairs while he was here too and was super easy to work with and even did the invoice for the work in two parts since the contractors are covering the accident piece. Definitely save this guy's info for any hvac work you need done

We've been using Cool Kids for a while now to help keep our dinosaur A/C unit working with minor repairs and maintenance. As a new homeowner in Texas, having the AC in good condition was a high priority. I saw the Cool Kids AC & Heat truck driving up AW Grimes and liked the logo and snapped a picture. I later looked up reviews and everything looked good. When I wanted my AC looked at to assess and service, I reached out to Cool Kids. JJ responded promptly and was extremely flexible.
He was very transparent with everything he was looking at / doing and options of services. He even taught us how to do our own maintenance on the outside unit! Everything was reasonably priced considering all that was done. Definitely have this number saved as a contact and will be the first call if my AC is acting up! Let the before and after photo speak for itself!

If 6 stars was an option, I would have given it to Cool Kids A/C & Heat. I contacted JJ about having a plenum repaired and that sometimes there was a very a faint gas smell when the heater first kicked on. JJ got me on the schedule and they rocked out the project quickly and really took care of me. They did a great job.

We just bought a new house, and had a nye party with our family and friends. Hours before midnight the ac quit working. which with so many people made things start to feel pretty uncomfortable. JJ the owner of cool kids basically dropped whatever he was doing and was able to get our system diagnosed and provide a temporary fix to have cooling for the coming days while we waited for a part to be available after the holiday.
I am extremely grateful and impressed with his willingness to make such a service call, and his wealth of knowledge about his craft. All that aside, I would have gladly paid top dollar but JJ's pricing was super reasonable. You can't go wrong with this man and his company for anything you need related to ac /hvac repairs.

Cool Kids AC & Heat did an awesome repairing and making sure our upstairs AC was blowing cold air again. They responded to our situation very quickly and gave us honest and fair pricing. It's been 3 hours since we noticed a leak in our ceiling and with in those 3 hours we were able to have Cool Kids come out and fix the issue! I called other places before contacting Cool Kids and the amount they quoted us was insane and the wait was days.. Cool kids was able to arrive with in a hour of contacting them and I paid a third of what everyone else quoted me.
I highly recommend contacting them not only did they arrive very quickly and we paid a very very great amount for the service he provided but he was also very knowledgeable I had no hesitation asking him questions. Thank You again for everything you did for us this evening!!

Excellent service and patient when answering all my questions. Went out of his way to explain everything and I’m so thankful to now know a local expert. I highly recommend Cool Kids for any AC/heating repair - big or small. You can tell he takes pride in making customers happy and in his work. Temp was in the 90s outside when the AC broke and he rearranged his whole schedule to get to us as quickly as possible. Awesome company.

These guys are awesome. My A/C recently went out on a Saturday morning. I texted JJ and he came right over, diagnosed the problem and had it fixed within a few days. (A part had to be ordered.)
A few years ago I had a serious problem with the drip pan filling with water. The company that installed the unit came out repeatedly and couldn’t fix it.
I called JJ and he immediately diagnosed it and got it fixed properly. I cannot say enough about their customer service and quality of workmanship and I highly recommend them.
