Before confirming the service with Smart Air, I had called about 67 other places in the Houston area. What hooked me with this company was Jay. He was the only one who truly listened, asked questions about what was going on, and even gave me an idea of what the issue could be. When I asked for a price range, he didnt hesitate to give me oneunlike all the other places I called. And that was just over the phone!
Once Jay came to my home and ran the diagnosis, the service was even better. He explained everything clearly, took his time, and gave me helpful advice. I honestly plan to hire them again and even sign up for their membership so Jay can check my AC in the summer and my heater in the winter.
You honestly wont be disappointed with Jays service. 10/10 experience!

I cannot recommend Pete from Smart Air Cooling & Heating highly enough. He came to evaluate our HVAC setup and mold concerns, and what he delivered went far beyond a typical service call it was an education, a prevention plan, and a financial rescue all in one.
Instead of pushing expensive remediation or replacements, Pete carefully explained why mold was forming and how simple system changes like temperature balancing, sealing air leaks, and adding targeted ventilation could stop the problem at its root. He broke everything down in a way that was practical, honest, and incredibly informative.
He spent real time walking me through what to do, prioritized what actually mattered, and didnt charge a dime for what could only be described as expert-level consulting. He saved me thousands in unnecessary work and even more in future risk. That kind of integrity is rare.

I called Pete on Saturday morning and they were very busy this time of year. Despite this he spent an hour on the phone with me diagnosing the issue. His advice and support was offered for free. I was able to go grab a new transformer and replace the part myself and unit was up in running in no time. I highly recommend this company. Their number one goal is making their customers happy.

My A/C went on the fritz earlier this week with temperatures outside in the 90s. I called Smart Air in the morning and they had a technician, Jay, out to my place in the early afternoon. Jay was friendly and explained what he was checking and why. He was able to quickly diagnose and repair the issue. Most importantly, I thought the pricing was very reasonable.

I've been working with Jay for the past couple of weeks and he's been excellent. He's come out here 2 or 3 times to help me solve an air quality problem that I've been having with smells coming from my AC vents. Always been very patient and made good suggestions on how to solve the problem. Will absolutely recommend Smart Air to anyone that has an ac problem and will use him again when I need some work done.

Just had a great first experience with smart air. We are in the middle of a plumbing re-piping project when our AC stopped working. The plumbing company couldn't figure out what they had done and when they sent their electrician, he could not figure out the problem either. So we decided to call Smart Air and they literally sent someone out less than 45 minutes after I called. Pete was very thorough and professional. It was a multi step process to figure out the various issues that had occurred, but he explained the entire thing and showed me where the problems were and fixed the issue pretty quickly. He was great to work with, and we will definitely be calling him in the future!

I have used SmartAir on a couple of occasions and they have been phenomenal. The service, professionalism, and overall quality of the experience has been best in class. My guy Pete came out this week and went above and beyond to get my wife and I (and 4 dogs) in a cool house. I used Smart Air several years ago when I had a persistent issue with my AC. Jay came out several times and was extremely kind, professional, and informative. He went above and beyond on multiple occasions. I have since moved, but when I started experiencing issues at my new home I reached out to Smart Air again. This time Pete came out and provided exactly the same professional and informative service I experienced with Jay years ago. We HIGHLY recommend Smart Air for your HVAC needs. Jay came out to our house and thoroughly explained what was going on with our unit. Originally, we had a mis-matched unit in our house which caused the compressor to go out. They recommended replacing the coil and condenser which we did. Unfortunately, they replaced with the same size unit (which were too large) for our house and caused our vents to have condensation on them each time the unit ran throughout the day. After having a discussion with Jay (the owner), he took it upon himself to replace the newly installed units (AGAIN) and threw in a furnace at no extra charge for the inconvenience! Treating people the right way and doing business the right way are how Id describe the folks at Smart Air. We hope to use them for years to come!

My overall experience with Smart Air was excellent. I needed a changeout of both my 20+ year old AC and furnace. I spoke with multiple AC companies and Jay was by far the most personable and easy to work with. He listened to my families needs and budgetary restraints, and provided us multiple options that would work. In the end, after explaining multiple options, we decided to go with Jay and Smart Air and I am glad we did. His installation team was friendly and thorough, and the the job was top notch. I have used different companies to fix HVAC problems, and I can tell that Smart Air is a good company, professional, and did the job properly.
I have used their service multiple times, and so far I am happy with their service. The owner, Jay, is really helpful and patiently explained to me about AC and the maintenance so that it doesn't break easily.
Another technician, Miguel, also did the job well, diagnosed carefully, and the most important is that he explained clearly what the root cause of the problem, and different options to fix it, from the cheapest one to the proper one (which was really expensive).
If you value highly professionalism and clarity, they are definitely your men.

Just had a great experience! Spoke to Jay first and Miguel was at the house within an hour on a July afternoon. Our 16-year-old system was done for. Options were presented and discussed with me. I made my selection and Smart Air arrived the very next morning at 8am. Out with the old and in with the new! Their excellent crew got the job done in one day and things are cooling down nicely. Jay was able to get a media filter & UV light incorporated which will improve our air quality. Smart Air quickly came through for us in our hour of need and our family is comfortable once again. Very pleased!
