Originally a coal and masonry yard, Ambler Coal was first located at Maple & Oak streets in Ambler. Coal was picked up daily and stored in the bins at the yard to be delivered to the homes of local families. In the mid-1940s, heating oil replaced coal as a more popular automatic heat source. In order to keep employees busy during the remainder of the year, Ambler Coal expanded the masonry supply yard. We are now the premier stucco distributor in the area and have introduced several stone veneer brands to the Southeastern Pennsylvania market.
