In the early days, the business was run from a small garage by Ranier, MN, but today our present location is 37,000 square feet in the "Old Holler School". Our specialty is Mechanical Contracting including our own HVAC Mechanical Department that will Assist in Designing your Commercial or Residential projects.Shannon's, Inc. continues to grow with the times. We are current with the technologies and products necessary to heat and cool your home and/or business more efficiently while creating a healthier indoor climate. Shannon's has helped me complete many projects in I-Falls. For the region, I feel that their prices are competitive. You can likely find someone cheaper but also likely to find someone more expensive. They do a good job with their installs and they are knowledgeable with boilers, combi boilers, forced air furnaces and water heaters. Despite some below average reviews on here, I feel that their customer service is generally excellent. In a world with labor and material shortages and high demand; no one business can be perfect. 4.5 stars!

My kitchen drain was plugged so I called them to unclog it. They offered friendly and prompt service at the front end. They required the first hour of labor, $100, plus $5 to drive a few blocks across town. A little expensive but worth it to get the drain working again. They showed up ran a snake through it a few times and when that didn't work they dumped some industrial strength cleaner down the drain.
They told me they ran a 30 foot snake down the drain and encountered no clog. This they said this was likely into the city sewer. No other drains in the house were clogged. This all took them about 45 minutes. Three days later they come back it was still clogged. This time they ran a sixty foot snake and were definitely into the city sewer and still couldn't find a clog.
No one was at the house when they visited the second time. They said there was nothing more they could do and left. They made a huge mess under the sink and didn't clean it up. I have custom made oak cabinetry and the wood under the sink was destroyed. Ultimately I had to get someone else to do the job and they were able to get it working again within two hours of arrival.
They were able to do this by putting in a little effort and thought into the process. Well, lets see, if this approach isn't working lets try another approach. Needless to say Shannon's wasn't interested in completing the job they were hired to do, they simply walked away when they couldn't get with a snake and some Drano. Also they weren't interested in taking responsibility for the property damage they caused. I'm not done pursuing that. There will be another review based on how they take responsibility for that.
