Called one A/C company at 8:00am (I won't name names) and they literally told me they were too busy today and if I needed them I would have to pay a $120 emergency service fee on top off whatever the normal charges were. Then I called Evans Air and they came out and repaired the unit within 4 hours for $89 service charge plus parts. I was very impressed and will definitely use them again.

First summer in this home. We were gone for several weeks with thermostat being set set at 85. Upon return we set back to 75. Noticed the air velocity was low. The house has 10' ceilings so to test we put a ribbon on a stick and when it was by the air vent it would barely move where in our previous home the air movement was very noticeable. Chad came out and after doing diagnostics at the air handler he came inside to look. Noticed the louvers which are bendable vs. swivel were not opened up very much.
After bending the louvers there was plenty of air flow. Problem solved. Service call cost was reasonable, Chad was through, professional and friendly. Thanks Evans. Will recommend and use you again as necessary.

Chad was my technician. He was very professional and and explained what the issue was and the solution needed for the repair. I was low on Freon and he added same to compressor. He also advised me that my copper tubing was defective. Chad is a great representative for Evans Air. I highly recommend him! Service: HVAC system maintenance

We've been using Evans since we moved to Tyler in 2017. They are always very nice and professional, and diagnose and fix the problem! Our units are older but they keep them in top running condition! Service: A/C system repair

My A/C went out on Saturday. I called Evans first thing Sunday morning and they were at my house before 10am. The repairman was professional and very nice. They have to order a part to complete the repair but called me promptly Monday morning to let me know the cost and expected delivery for the part. I am very happy with their service.
