We diagnose and fix refrigerant leaks, compressor failures, thermostat malfunctions, and electrical issues using advanced diagnostic tools. Serving Fort Myers and surrounding areas, we prioritize transparent pricing and long-term solutions to prevent recurring problems. Our team ensures systems run efficiently through proper calibration and component replacement.
AC Installation
We specialize in installing energy-efficient central AC, ductless mini-split, and heat pump systems tailored to Southwest Florida's climate. Our process includes load calculations, equipment selection from trusted brands like Trane and Daikin, and proper sizing for optimal performance. We offer temporary cooling solutions during installation and provide factory warranties. Our factory-trained technicians ensure code-compliant installations that maximize energy savings and indoor comfort.
Maintenance Agreements
Our maintenance programs include bi-annual 30-point inspections covering electrical components, refrigerant levels, and airflow optimization. Plans range from standard tune-ups to premium packages with duct sanitizing and filter replacements. Regular maintenance extends system lifespan, reduces energy costs by up to 15%, and maintains manufacturer warranties. Priority service and repair discounts are included for agreement holders.
Duct Cleaning
Professional duct cleaning removes allergens, mold, and debris buildup from residential and commercial HVAC systems. Using industrial vacuums and antimicrobial treatments, we improve indoor air quality and system efficiency. Services include dryer vent cleaning to reduce fire risks and construction debris removal. Recommended every 3-5 years, especially for allergy sufferers or post-renovation projects in Southwest Florida's humid climate.
Pool Heater Services
We service and install Pentair pool heaters and related components to maintain optimal pool temperatures. Our technicians handle diagnostics, parts replacement, and efficiency optimization for gas and electric pool heating systems. Robert has been to our house several times. He has always professional, helpful, and just plain fun! We look forward to him coming, and he comes here twice a year. No other contractor has so much respect and welcome in our home. I can't say enough good about him and his visits. Our dog sits in the garage because she enjoys watching him work. He's a family member.

Just purchased a Mitsubishi Ductless Heating and Air Conditioning system to be installed in late May/early June. Britt, the sales rep was very helpful and knowledgeable. He even answered his cell phone when we called last Sunday, with a question. Amazing customer service! 7 years ago we purchased a new heat pump for our fathers home, same great service. Yes, we are repeat happy customers! Thank you Sunset Air! :

I've never been to Sunset Air. The only Sunset Air I know of is the company that installed my Ductless heat pump for me. They did a great job and the heat pump is wonderful. Ty Britt
