I recently had a shut-off valve replaced, as well as valves under sinks. The work was done well and the service was good. The bill was $2,000. When I asked them to provide a detailed invoice breaking out parts and labor, they said they don't bill like that. I think it's a fair question to see what you're paying for. For that reason I do not recommend Sherlock Plumbing.

Yesterday I contacted Sherlock and spoke to Rachel, manager, about my a/c blowing only warm air. I've been a Sherlock VIP member since 2020 and was hoping for help in a desperate situation as out-of-town guests were due that evening and the house was stuffy and warm. Rachel analyzed my situation and suggested installers, Josh and Wade, as they had a break in their busy schedule and could "swing by" to take a look. Long-story-short, Josh and Wade arrived within the hour, and found and corrected the problem.

There was a missing disconnect unit which prevented the condenser from operating. They also determined that my air filter was the wrong size and therefore was not effectively preventing dust and other pollutants from flowing through the system. In addition to fixing those items, they added a vent-tube to my overall system ensuring better safety next to my furnace. Josh and Wade were professional, courteous, and extremely competent.

I've used Sherlock before for installation of a new HVAC system. I'm having a ductless unit installed, mini split, although expensive, it will make my summers more comfortable in my converted garage, now a family room which doesn't cool off as well as the original home. Dirk was very well qualified, he explained the options for electrical, the tract that will be placed outside on home stucco. He answered all my questions and had my utmost confidence in the bid costs.

Most importantly, I am relieved that Sherlock is experienced with this type of installation and uses protocols to avoid issues (condensation, nitrogen to clean lines after soldering before coolant inserted, etc.). I am confident the job will be done well. In addition, I received a nice discount as a prior customer, 18 months no interest payments (efficient application at my home by Dirk on his I-pad and phone verification from loan company) and the job will be done within one day: scheduled for tomorrow! Our shower broke while I was out of town. Sherlock was very responsive, and Kyle quickly made his way to our house. Everything was smooth sailing once he was on scene. Thorough investigation and diagnosis of what went wrong, came up with a clear plan of action, and provided a very reasonable quote. Kyle was able to methodically and efficiently repair our shower so that it will not cause us any problems again.

Sherlock Plumbing has excellent customer service. I've used them multiple times and have been impressed with their service and customer care each time. They are responsive to inquiries in a timely manner. They are easy to schedule with. They sent me a message with the plumber's ETA along with a picture of the van, and a picture and name of the plumber so I know who to expect (this makes me feel safe). I've had different plumbers come each time and they have all been exceptionally professional, kind, thorough, and explain everything to me very well.

They have many options to address repairs and are very honest about costs (for example, if I can save money by buying the part myself they let me know and help me find the part). I highly recommend them!
