After receiving a few estimates, I decided on Stans for my Heating/AC replacement. Andrew and Irvin came today to install the units, and they were on time, considerate of my property, and extremely polite. I have been using this company for yearly checkups and plan to keep doing so, given that I have consistently received outstanding service.

Our heating stopped working on Saturday night, and it was cold during the day, but even colder at night. We contacted Stan's on Sunday, expecting them to send someone on Monday morning, but instead, they sent a repairman on Sunday night without any extra charge. The repairman, Hugo, did an excellent job of checking every possible area that could have caused the issue. He identified the problem, fixed it, and we had heat again. We were very satisfied with Stan's and the service Hugo provided.

After years of patching my old upstairs central air unit I decided to upgrade and selected Stan's Air Conditioning to do the service. Brandon and Nathaniel, the technicians, showed up 30 minutes early and replaced the A/C , furnace and outdoor compressor unit over the next several hours. They also added another two vents and returns to improve air flow and lower operating costs. I'm super-pleased with the work. Installation was in a tight space but they managed to install it text-book perfect as the attached image shows.

After installation Brandon walked me through using the new Ecobee thermostat and gave tips on quarterly maintenance to keep it running smoothly. This is the third time I've called on Stan's in 10 years and they have been consistently professional and reliable every time. I highly recommend them.

On April 15th, I hired Stan's to perform a cooling tune-up on two of our AC units. While the above issues may not have contributed directly to the current problem, the problem exists. Two key issues with the service on 4/15: 1. Following the appointment, I looked closely at the condenser units and noticed, while the unit is easily accessible and located 10' from a functioning water hose, the coils did not get cleaned (noticeable debris buildup, dog hair (maybe), etc.). 2.

The tech checked the capacitors by removing screws (~4-6) holding the access panel, but he did not put all the screws back in place to secure the housing. Eventually, I suspect this may lead to issues with the unit, rattling, etc. Yesterday, Saturday, 6/25, at 1:20 PM, our AC stopped blowing cold air. Now, 24hrs later, we are still without AC. Again, the above issues may not have contributed directly to the current problem; however, it reminded me of the incomplete job. I called Stans yesterday and was told the soonest appt is Tuesday, 6/28.
