Hill country refrigeration is always honest and does a great job for a fraction of the cost. It can take a bit to get an appointment but the wait is worth it. Hands down the best HVAC service in town! For years my family has gone through Hill Country Refrigeration, and when my thermostat wasn't working when I woke up this morning I knew just who to call. A very polite and helpful lady answered all my questions and I soon went on my way to their store front. When I arrived, a man named Doug helped me pick out the best thermostat choice for my house and didn't try to sell me the expensive one either.
He told me in detail how to install it and wrote his number on the box to call him if I had any questions on the install. Well, sure enough I was confused and gave him a call. He drove to my house and figured out it was the wrong thermostat, drove back to the store to get the right one, and helped me install the new one. He even crawled in my attic to check everything out. Afterward he refused to take my money and left. I couldn't recommend these guys enough! Thanks so much Doug!

Very pleased with the service and professionalism. The tech quickly diagnosed and fixed 2 separate problems we were experiencing. Total time here was less than 1 hour! He was courteous and wore a mask the whole time he was here (COVID era).

Thank you to these honest business people. Got a quote from the other wizards in town of $5000.00 to repair and suggested replacement of 2 units at over $ 26 000.00. Your technician was in and out in under an hour and the cost was under $600.00. I will definitely know who to call in the future. Service: A/C system repair
